Well Aurelius the short scale and the tuning up to ADGCEA gives the strings a little more tension, which is no bad thing. There are only 2 drawbacks for me really
1 - The strings are close together so an arpeggio across say a straight A chord can be pretty tight to achieve, I have tried adapting with a partial bridge with some success
2 - The height of the nut makes it really hard to bridge on fret 1 as clearly demonstrated around 50 seconds into this vid

I'm a bit of classical guitarist once in awhile... I'm curious how the attack is with the short neck scale and tuning. How does it feel?
