my aunt has 2 jet ski's a suzuki and a kawasaki (she doesnt use them lol) there both bout the same speed and the kawasaki is a lil older, i topped out at 68mph with my sister onboard :p there fast as shit though.

ahaha not anymore. lol. I hate yamaha. I think their jet ski's are ugly as fuck. but they have the fastest one out on water. Check it out. Kawawasaki Ultra 250hp, Seadoo's RXP-X and RXT-X with 255hp and then yamaha's FX SHO. they have vid's of all 3 of these jetski's racing. yamaha pulls ahead.

I'm around the 11th and 12th mm. in between. What kind of 05' Kawasaki. the stx 12-f top speed is around 50-55mph. mine is between 60-65mph. I want the new Ultra 250x. Its only goes a little faster than the stx-15f but the thing is really heavy so it has to have the super charger on it. If i put that one on mine. i would get a lot more speed out with a lighter body and smaller tank. it was going to cost me i think it was around $3,000 to $4,000 to put that supercharger on mine.

my neighbor next to me at the lake has the 12-f there not bad. but at the time in 2006 the 15-f was the best. and im a type of person that only wants the best but i like the 12-f too. i think the farthest i've been up the main channel was maybe to the 25 to 27 mm. I havent really explorered any farther than that. about everything from the 16mm to the dam and gravois arm i know really well.

lol I have a Seadoo GTX Vortec Vans Triple Crown Special Edition Bombardier.. try 75mph top speed. It would smoke you off the line and the long run, can't beat the turbo.

i would be tempted to try you off the line but yea in the long run you'd kill me. I was thinking about putting on a supercharger on mine for a little over 2,500.00. but with gas prices right now on the water and on the road im not sure. What year is your bombardier?

It is an '03, the special edition that I have is meant to get off the line quick. It is meant for wakeboarding so it needs that extra umph off the start. I don't know why everyone is saying bombardiers are so slow. They probably didn't break the engine in properly.

Oh and for the supercharger, that would be sick. Although, the gas would put a dent in the wallet for sure. My turbo does when I have it topped out, but it is worth it. It's not like we are driving the jet skiis everywhere we go.

i have a friend that has a bombardier and its top speed was 45mph and mine goes 65mph. we switched for the day and that thing had horrible throttle response. i would give it all throttle and it would take a few seconds to start going. thrust was horrible on it.

Since yours is a special edition and with a turbo of course they will have extra advantages on it. i would love for mine to have a turbo or supercharger. Gas on the water, in missouri where i go is 4.70 a gallon.

4.70? Ouch, that is insane. It is only 3.29 tops here in Texas. I only use mine on the Colorado River in Matagorda. It is a small town off Galveston Bay. If mine only got up to 45mph, I would go straight to the dealership and trade that crap in.

Because 90% of them have no regard for anyone on the water. They disregard no wake zones. Come much to close to boats to jump their wakes. Speed through bridges when they should be going slow. For the most part they are a menace. There are a few out there that obey the laws, but most have never owned a boat and have no idea.

Have you ever heard of the Lake of the Ozarks in MO? We're rated #2 in dangerous lakes/waters. I've heard of many deaths every year there. The ones that do die are the people that dont wear life jackets, drinking, and the occasional, "I fell out of my boat and the boat ran into a dock" Some guy did that do 75mph. I dont blame you, we have a Colbalt and you do have the occasional jet ski's that either cut infront of you or get to close to the rear of the boat.

We also have a big problem with people coming to close to the docks. the real people are the parents that let underage children drive jet ski's or you get the 1ST TIME VISITOR that has no clue how to operate one properly. I've had one in 07' run into my jet ski. Pissed the fuck outa me and this guy was a 1st time driver!

Nothing on it this year, top speed is only 65mph. I plan on doing quite a few mods on it next year. I plan on having it run around 75 at least.
