hold the lid with your index and thumb, in your right hand, with the hinge pointing up. with your middle or ring finger, spin the whole lighter anticlockwise by pushing down above and to the left of where your finger and thumb are holding it, on the top left corner. if you can spin the whole thing, then just tighten up your index-thumb grip, holding the lid a bit more in place. that way the bottom will spin, the top wont, causing the lighter to open up.

spinner fast will make the light end up in the position shown above. that's the action, the technique is up to you, depends on your hands. the guy in the video uses his ring finger on the bottom left corner.

this trick is pretty hard for me cuz i got the slim zippo so the boddy is alot taller and skinnier than regular zippos, also the lid alot shorter aswell so u can also imagine how hard it is for me to perform the squeeeze trick...owell i guess i better invest in a regular sized zippo

hold it in the starting point but don't put the corner into your hand, just rest it on top of where it normally starts. if you flick your wrist properly it should still open
