The truth is definitely painful. Slavery of Black people in U.S. has been in existence for more than 350 years. The first slave was brought here in 1600s. It doesn't matter that the country was established yet. Also, Blacks were considered 3/5th human and this IS in the U.S. Constitution. This is what Dred Scott v Sanford was all about. Chief Justice Taney ruled against Mr. Scott because he was "3/5th" human and chattel. Until this ruling is reversed, Blacks will be slaves in America.

But I still think that the speaker featured in this video is a nutcase. The biggest problem of this video is that it puts an extreme amount of emphasis on race to determine whether something is important or not. Without ignoring the hardships or injustices of ANY race, we need to learn to become colorblind and regard each other on a more individual basis.

@Fujiarmu I agree with you, we do need to be color blind. I personally don't judge by color. My people have been asleep to our true identity as a people. I grew up in segragation. However I did not grow up in the south. I visited the south each and every summer. My maternal family is from the south. I know, about the back of the bus. Listen the North wasn't too much better. I cannot make anyone really understand how it feels to be Black in America.
