I had the same thing happen to me. What I'm doing (And I suggest you do it to) is reposting my video every time they block the audio. Eventually, they would have to say something.

So repost. Don't give up. Fight for a good cause. Start a revolution. Solve world hunger. Stop Global Warming! Save the Whales! Help the Homeless!...Okay, maybe not quite that much. But at least people will see your video with audio.

I just heard about this song when our teacher played it for us, but I also hate it. Not bcuz of the lyrics and how it sounds, but bcuz it gave my teacher an idea. As an artist I would be pissed about this. People show love and dedication by making good videos to songs I would have sung years and years ago. And instead of encouraging an increase in my popularity as well, my record label decides to ban the music because they are not receiving any direct profits from it. BS! I enjoyed this version, unlike some others. The most accurate use of photos I've seen yet. For Lebanon you had a President Ford policy meeting, Joel refers to 1958 when we sent troops in. Loved the thing with the stork for birth control though out of context somewhat. Nice work!

Im not the creator of the video, but there are no quotes from the people you listed because the quotes are based on the people, places, things, or events between 1949 to 1989. Billy Joel wrote the song about his generation growing up in the fifties, thats why most references are from that decade. Thats why all the references are from this time period.

From what I can tell, the only visual in this video that's in the original is a Vietnam photo (at 1:55), where one of the communist rebel leaders executes someone.
