As an artist I would be pissed about this. People show love and dedication by making good videos to songs I would have sung years and years ago. And instead of encouraging an increase in my popularity as well, my record label decides to ban the music because they are not receiving any direct profits from it. BS! I enjoyed this version, unlike some others. The most accurate use of photos I've seen yet. For Lebanon you had a President Ford policy meeting, Joel refers to 1958 when we sent troops in. Loved the thing with the stork for birth control though out of context somewhat. Nice work!

Im not the creator of the video, but there are no quotes from the people you listed because the quotes are based on the people, places, things, or events between 1949 to 1989. Billy Joel wrote the song about his generation growing up in the fifties, thats why most references are from that decade. Thats why all the references are from this time period.
