  • Im sure that you meant well, but next time, realize that nearly everyone in these photos are Navy Corpsmen, not Army Medics

  • let the bodies hit the floor.....not on the medics watch they dont

  • The music so distasteful.

  • DAMN THIS ANNOYING ASS SONG Lol

  • Ironic song for a Medic video.

should of been, PICK UP THE BODIES OFF THE FLOOR!

  • im about to become an evac medic in the airforce cant flippin wait

  • Can a medic fight in a battle also?

  • @blackrobe2007 yes,i think so any way because if someone gets hurt one the field and theres no medics around the guy that got shot is kind fucked

  • @armymedic98 no, not entirely. CLS bro, CLS.

  • @bklacc1 well yah you know what i ment.dont trust me with infantry,i most likley know more about aviation, lol

  • @blackrobe2007 If your a medic assigned to an infantry unit then you will.

I'm a 68W (Medic) assigned to an 11B (infantry unit). Its all where you are placed and how much you desire to see the fight.

  • inappropriate music for medics :|

  • @TheBloodycelt lol lets listen to the BeeGees - Stayin alive

  • @zBLACKzOPS hahahaha :P

  • More beneficial to watch vid while sound MUTED!

  • Don't think the music goes good with the whole "saving a life" thing...

  • Anyone else hit mute?

  • let the body set the. . . mute.

  • @MRmaximixam it was added in 2007 when this song was still considered to be cool

  • For a Medic/Corpsman video, this song seems a bit counterintuitive. God bless all these men and women and come home safe!

  • those are marines/navy corpsmen

  • i was wanting to do intel in the navy but ive decided on bein a combat medic. seems like a vital part of our military and i can use my skills after the military. aka its bad ass.

  • 11-11-10

  • god bless all are corpsman and army medics

  • I am currently in tech school to become an Air Force medic. Here at Sheppard AFB, we learn all about the different medical roles filled by the different branches of the armed forces. One of my classmates was a Corpsman for 23 years with the Navy. Right now, all I care about is learning my craft so I can go out there and do my job well. Hopefully, when all is said and done, I'll be able to look back on my career and know that I've helped bring some of our boys home alive.

  • 4 guys three girls at 0:12 future gangbang

  • @MrTheVidster Female Soldiers on Deployment=Queen for a Year

  • I see more Navy Hospital Corpsman in this video than Army medics

  • @shaolinwarrior87 Seems like a lot of Marines too....

  • @kaylalee2 yeh i definitely see more marpats than i do ACU

  • thats tool not metallica wow come on medicos lol

  • i am 13 and i will grow up and fight for this country of ours and i would die for it with honor and courage, the role i would like to do is field medic in the army, i was wondering if they still had medics that were still in war but helped the wounded that while still in the battle.....like the ones with the red crosses on there helmets in world war two

  • @littledutchboy1996 Go for it! Yes, every combat unit has medics that do the same job day in and day out as the rest of the grunts. But the idea is to save your own wounded battle buddies and make the enemy die for its country! A dead medic is useless to his unit in combat. Your honor is in keeping your buddies alive to carry on. Good luck! - former 1st Cav medic

  • @littledutchboy1996 Go for it! I was your age when I decided to be a combat medic. All combat units have medics and they do the same job as everyone else. But the idea is to save your battle buddies and make the enemy die for its country. A dead medic is useless to its platoon. You get honor by keeping your soldiers alive. Good Luck! - Former 1st Cav medic

  • wow, 1:50 that sunset while flying, beautifulness...awesome video, im joining the navy to be a corpsman : ]

  • @EvilPotHeadAngel when you are at the battlefield... there is beautifulness.. only wounded screaming men..... its more than the nice views dude.....

  • thats wat im planning to do in the guard 68W HOOAH!

  • I ship out to BCT for 68W on 20100825

  • What is the first song? It is def not metallica dont tred on me

  • @Valiant35 its tool but i forgot which one.

  • Keep it up people!

Im going up for training soon. cant wait.

Most medics/Doctors and such like cant spell or have very bad hand writing, its widly known but this doesnt mean they are a bad medic, so i wouldnt just jump to conclusions.

  • what song is first? I know that it isn't metallica... I know the black album inside out.

  • going to basic may 18th signed as a 68W :) and btw the song is parabola by tool, not metallica

  • just got back from AIT myself, just keep your head in the game, keep up your motivation and stay OUT of trouble, there where over 20 people dropped from my company due to underage drinking. Not sure how old you are but thought i would warn you, your in for a long ride but its well worth it!

  • If I were in Iraq and had gotten hurt , I would totally trust my life to you guys . You all do a heck of a job . Thank you !!!!!

  • that is why they have recruiter. Dont go to the Marines because they don't have any medic jobs. The Navy or the Army have better medic jobs.

  • MEDICS HOOAH!

  • I was a Corspman from 1986-1997. Try to think of it this way; All the Armed Forces are cousins and the Marine/Doc relationship are brothers. And although most Marines will give respect to a Corpsman just because they are a Corpsman, when you are actually with a Marine unit you need to prove you are an asset to the team just like everyone else.

  • then i shall not disappoint my future squad. i ship to great lakes in 60 days :)

  • @michaelpc420 I am currently an HM3 (FMF)...I had to earn the title "doc"....I totally agree with you

  • @michaelpc420 Thank you for serving our country

  • @michaelpc420 that is very true. i was a corpsman with 2nd mar div 2nd CEB back in 1996-99

  • you need to repost but leave out the metallica song at the end since the audio was removed

  • is it just me or are these guys FOBbits?

  • i signed up as HM also i wanna do FMF my ship date is 20090714

  • nice touch. we rule.

  • my husband is a combat medic, thanks for this vid, it helps me to understand just a tiny bit of what he will be going through. i want to help him every way that i can.

  • these guys saved my life once. thanks.

  • To see an Air Force Flight Medic performing his duties in Iraq for his 3rd deployment, check out my brother, Jeremy May Iraq. It shows the continuation of medical care and evacuation at the next level. Jeremy is 23 and a Nursing student at UNLV when not deployed with the Calif Air Nat'l Guard in the Middle East.

  • ...attached to the Marine Corps...thanks JGUNT

  • those cannot be marines because the mc gets medics from the navy

  • they are called coreman and they in fact ARE marines...

  • They are called corpsmen, and they in fact ARE in the Navy. They are called Fleet Marine Force Corpsman, but they're sailors.

  • Haha my bad....

  • Dosnt matter, once u complete the school ur considered a marine and looked up upon the most cuz ur the one saving ther lives

  • Um...no. A Marine is a Marine. Someone who is not in the USMC is not a Marine. I'm not saying that Marines disrespect or look down on Corpsmen, but they are definitely NOT Marines.

  • Obviously U Dont Really Have A Clue, I Know Countless Marines and U Ask Any Marine Anywhere Any Time Who Has Been In Combat And Theyll Say The Exact Thing That I Said, Not Only Are They Apart Of The Marines But Are Looked Up Upon Even More Because Of There Abilities Not Only As A Medic, But As A Soldier Trained As A Marine, U Need To Get Ur Facts Straight, Just Because His Branch Tape Says Navy Doesnt Mean He Isnt Apart Of The Marines, Ask Anyone Who Has Served In Combat

  • Talk to someone in real life before pretending to know what you're talking about on the internet. Yes, Corpsmen get training so that they're not a hindrance to the Marines they serve with. No, the Marines do not consider Corpsmen as Marines. I don't know what recruiter told you this, but he's blowing smoke up your ass. I know several Marines who've seen combat. They won't say anything like that. Don't get me wrong, anyone who serves has my respect, but only those in the USMC are Marines.

  • I Do Know wat im talkn about, my closest friends are marines n im already signed up as a corpsman, n besides if the marines had a medic field i would have joined but they dont, so dont think for a second that corpsman dont have wat it takes to be a marine, n another thing to look at is if ther not considered marines then y do they wear they same uniform as marines n y are they stationed with them

  • *sigh* They wear the same uniforms and live at the same posts because they're job is to take care of them. You're acting like I'm somehow implying that corpsmen are less than Marines. I'm not. I'm simply saying they're not the same thing. If something like this can get you wound up, you're gonna have a hell of a time in training.

  • So yea u could 'Technically' say ther not Marines, but im not looking at paper or contracts, im looking at reality

  • It dosn't really matter...either way they save the Marines Life...so i don't think that the Marines really care what Service their under...but you are correct...but it is the closest that a Navy guy can get to becomming a Marine...they live/deplay with Marines and even get to wear the same uniforms...if i'm not mistakin

  • You're correct, they wear the same uniform. Only difference on it is the 'U.S.Navy' tape.

  • Yeah...Those are Marines, not Army

  • Wrong. Those are US NAVY (HM) Fleet Marine Force. I went HM and my shipdate is 20090202. I can't wait to be attached to the true elite of the US Military forces! Hooyah!

  • I went (HM) myself. Shipdate 20090512. Good luck to you. Courage is grace under fire. Semper Fi.

  • I signed HM also, ship date is 20090915, goodluck to u also HOOYAH

  • Happy Birthday America, Keep up the Fire ! Pro Patria doughboy

11B All the Way Everyday ah ha....

  • Hello

I just wonna ask if the medics carry Rifles and if their are market with a Red Cross?

I'm asking because the swiss medics in Kosovo (KFOR Troops) only carry a Pistol and are market with a Red Cross arround the Arm.

(Sorry for my verry bad english)

  • Yeah they carry a rifle...They do have a medic sign but it's not bright red/white...It's tan/green

  • what song is this?

  • Basically I could get in as much action as I wanted. Most units aren't that cool though, and they usually make you sit in the back by the platoon leader or commander or whoever is in charge.

  • Do docs get guns?

  • If marked, such as in a medevac chopper, only defensive weapons, i.e. sidearms. If not marked, you are a regular infantryman until someone calls "doc," then you sling your weapon and go to work.

  • so if i was a coreman with a marine infantry unit i would get a rifle?

  • Yes you would, and it's spelled corpsman not coreman.

  • I know i spelt it right the first time. but thanks for your help. lol.

  • so lets say that i may join the airborne one day. if i became a medic would i get a gun?

  • Yes. In the 28 months I've spent in Iraq so far in the 101st and 4th ID, I've never once been in a marked vehicle or worn a placard. It's nothing but a big assed target. The only way you could tell I was a medic was the big unmarked medic pack on my back. And that's only if you know what you were looking for. Also, both times I've been to Iraq, but especially the first, the units I was with were cool, and if I wanted to be on an assault squad, I could be.

  • uhoh!!! my remarks were made to some neophyte who posted rubbish.. not the medics eeeeeeeeeeeee great job folks.. i've worked next to nurses who were medics -- tough nurses. love it!

  • the unsung heroes

  • do CMT's not get weapons?

  • Will the Navy accept you into its corpsman schools if you were previously marine enlisted? My recruiter as well as my navel science instructer both say no.

  • I dont see why not

  • ha im going to be an army medic soon, cool shit

  • wats the name of the first song??

  • OH MY GOD

  • wow Tool and the Army

    5/5 for u sir

  • I love my medic...he's a miracle on two feet.

  • noncelo-you are a surgeon??hahahahaha only in your croked mind-pray that we never chose paths-you are a sad excuse for a living organism-zombie18d

  • Damn. You would think that someone as smart as a surgeon would have better grammer than you. You're worthless and probably one of those malpractice surgeons, if any at all.

  • awesome video, song parabola,TOOL

  • I am a flight medic with the army and I have to say that flight medics and crews always have the best time! I wish I could get back in the bird. I'm with a MP company now as thier Doc with the 101st Airborne(Air Assault).

  • Brand new medical school that give preference to veterans

    Stewart University school of medicine

    STEWARTMED ORG

  • These are FMF Corpsmen all the way...not Army. Regardless, Army medics deserve the same respect in every right!

  • Awesome Video. Oh can I ask you all something. Does anyone know the song at the begining of the video?

  • Chase, I don't know the song name but it's from "Tool" and the cd's title is Lateralus if I'm not mistaken.

  • Hey thank man.

  • Chase, I made this video back in 2005 after my group finished up the CAEVAC mission and turned it over to the east coast HM crew. The intro is the last few seconds of 'Parabol' which then blends into 'Parabola' , both by Tool off their Lateralus album.

  • im a combat medic serving with 3 regt army air corps will be deploying to afghan next month..

  • good luck ^__^

  • There is nothing that fills me with the feeling of pride like watching all of you go about your day to day! From the jokes, to the casulties it shows your human side but more importantly the hero side, the heros you all truly are!!! Thank you for your service!

  • My son is a Medic in Iraq. My heart swells with pride. God Bless you all!!

  • You're such a dumbass.

  • you are no physician at all -- you are a gamer and an idiot.

if you are maybe a medic, you need to be pulled.

  • I was a medic in Vietnam (101st Airborne). Different war, different time, same dedication. These guys make me proud.

  • You make us Proud also. This is coming from a current medic with the 101st Airborne. I leave in a few months for Iraq again.

  • God speed, soldier. We'll pray for you and your men.

  • I am a medic/instructor in the AF, but hands down FMF are the shit!

  • These are Navy corpsmen supporting the Marine Corps CASEVAC mission.
