I just watched this ads since my lecturer gave me assignment of Comprehensive Analysis of Petronas Corp Campaign by Yasmin Ahmad. It's a very nice and heart touching ads. I believe that Yasmin Ahmad was a great, inspiring, and one of a kind woman :)

Whoa, this is not just a touching advertisement by Yasmin Ahmad but also it looks like it's somewhat loosely adapted from an old folklore I knew as a kid. Very well-made for us viewers in the modern context. Lastly, this advertisement has a bit of moral lesson for us too.

whoa, this is also called a simple karma to those who are bad from their in- laws.. in other asian countries..like philippines,there is a term called extended family ties.. where in even they are poor they don't show disgrace to their parents,grand parents or even in-laws. they don't put them in home for the aged or feel bad if old people will stay in their house.,yes a lot of them are poor but they value FAMILY

I saw this ad before, kind of reminds me of the story of a couple who went to bury their parents in pots cause they were troublesome, and their kids learned to prepare pots for their parents as well. Rip Yasmin
