  • Slippery politicians couch their positions with such "outs" as - I don't "want to" or I will "resist" this or that. This is why you must do your homework independently of the media or partisan sources. Look at their past actions, writings, voting records and public speeches or interviews.

My fellow Americans and freedom advocates worldwide, we are all being "gamed" and conned to allow more and more collectivism, more government, weakening currencies and more wars and cronyism. Wake up please!!!

  • Based on the timing of the whisper and the answer Mitt gave, it could indeed be argued that he focused on "not raising taxes" in his answer. My question: Are any or all of the candidates outfitted with concealed wireless earpieces to get messages and prompts from their advisers from another "room"? I want proof and only proof, no rumors.

  • Just Google: "There was obviously an open mike which picked up the whisper, but we have no way of knowing who did the whispering."

Results are multiple stories that confirm it in the original and raise but do not settle, who said it, how it got through, or whether or not Romney even heard the whisper so as to prompt or prejudice his answer. This case has apparently never been settled since no newer stories show in the results. If anyone can find newer conclusions, please post here!!!

  • i trust ron paul more than him. instinct

  • Think people. Any whisper from some hidden earpiece would half to blow Mitt's ear off to be loud enough to be picked up by a microphone. The whisper came from someone else near a microphone...maybe one of the other candidates or moderators.

  • There is no way that Romney's mike is going to pick up a voice like that from an ear piece. There would have to have been a small speaker on Ronmey's shoulder for the voice to have sounded even remotely close to that. It was obviously from an open mike somewhere.

  • You seem a little clueless. Presumedly, the wireless feed (the digital data of the audio) of the earpiece was picked on the channel of his malfunctioning wireless microphone.

  • for all you people saying it was "added in", "fake" or "non sense". You have no clue what you are talking about.

FACT: MSNBC VP for Communications Jeremy Gaines "There was obviously an open mike which picked up the whisper, but we have no way of knowing who did the whispering."

Plus: Sources at MSNBC have denied that the comment came from the moderators' table, claiming that, according to a sound analysis (which Giuliani's people requested immediately following the debate)

  • .. probably added in

  • vote ron paul. Join the movement for change or get fitted for you locating chip implant as seen in aaron russo's freedom to fascism

  • FYI, even NBC acknowledged the whisper. Their lame excuse was a mic picked up the whisper in the audience. lol. There was eleven to start. Now there are only three in the Republican race. Guess which one will obey our Constitution?

  • Nice try. Here's some info about McCain:

    youtube(dot)com /view_play_list?p=610D9441C009AB2E

  • Mitt Romney contradicts himself with every sentence that comes out of his mouth.

  • @7ebaneze It's not fake; I heard it watching the thing live at the flamin' time, and I'm an uninvolved party in another country, for goodness sake.

  • @7ebaneze And they call Paul supporters "CONSPIRACY THEORISTS!!!"........NBC awknowledged the whisper pal...do some research.

  • All those Mitt Romney voters just voted for a cheat and a quitter. I am not surprised Mittens Romney dropped out. Thank God. What a fake he was.

  • I think this is fake

  • v=Jk6IJS3QN34

    Another Mitt Romney lie

  • Can you imagine the media frenzy if anybody else had been caught cheating, nothing seems to stick to this guy.

  • it shouldn't matter in the end though! Romney will not get the nomination!

  • Hilary, obama,McCain,Mitt, all CFR which also means they have the same Agenda

  • The mike picked up the technical support whispering to the mediator. Romney is a stud. Any one who says otherwise is a BIGOT just like huckabee. IF you don't know what a bigot is, you are ignorant and shouldn't be voting anyway.

  • so we know for sure thats what it was

  • That's right, anyone who doesn't agree with your fallacious idea that RoMnEy RuLeZ!! is a "bigot." You and Flip must've gone to the same debate school!

  • LOL puppet? You don't think this type of thing is the norm? You don't think Obama, Clinton, McCain, all of them have little lackies helping them through everything? Come on. Communist media? Idiot.

  • Please, please, please... someone parody the "whisper" videos. I want to see Mitt Romney getting "whisper prompts" to smile smugly, laugh insincerely, and whispers like "you're fly's open" before he moves behind a podium...

  • Romney is a TOOL.

  • scoop on Romney at massresistance dot com

  • liars on a stick. all of them. feel good about talking about them? They are ALL liars. enjoy the game. Maybe u can talk about it at the water cooler.

  • Mitt Romney hears dead people!

  • Ron Alert!!

    knowbeforeyouvoteDOTcom

    great link to share with

    potential Ron voters

please use and pass it on

  • -Can he not speak for himself?! Ron Paul CAN! *Don't know about you, but I'll give my allegiance to Ron Paul even if he doesn't win!!! (if possible)

  • ha...is that a joke?? you conservative pig.

  • Romney is a TOOL. Full of shit. I'm not very conservative, but even if I was, you can see thru him like a window.

I think Dems should WANT him to get the GOP nomination. He's probably the most unelectable of the bunch.

  • Save the reverse psychology schtick. Romney is so far ahead of the other candidates it ain't funny.

  • The Communist media? really?

  • My daughter brought home a flyer with ALL of the candidates pictures on the front cover on it EXCEPT for Ron Paul. The Flyer is called "TIME for Kids" by TIME magazine. Look it up if you don't believe me. It simply floored me.

  • Romney has the Dems running scared.

  • NO HE DOESN'T PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE!!!!!

Romney's a JOKE. Dems WANT ROMNEY to win. Are you kidding me.

Oh my gosh!!!! I can't believe this country!!

  • Anyone called worldrobots must be a schmuck. Go back to sleep, turkey brain.

  • Yes he does! As a democrat I don't want Romney to be the Republican candidate.

  • Google Ron Paul... dont let that other flip lop in to the office!!!

  • Ron Paul!

  • one of the candidates whispered it as a joke to make fun of Mitt

  • Anyone looking to duplicate the Conservative leadership of Ronald Reagan has got my vote. Pride must be restored to this nation. As Romney said, "I don't like the thought of Bill Clinton running around the White House with nothing to do"

  • Exactly, and i don't like the idea of giving 24 years to two families.

  • YES, and that person is Ron Paul. Check his record!

NEVER voted to raise tax. ALWAY voted to cut spending.

Romney just wants to be President, he doesn't want to CHANGE the country.

  • hey 123, did you actually thank pablo 13 for doing research..thats f-ing hilarious.....we all know what msnbc said and if you believe that lame-brain story, go smoke some more doobies

  • Not only do you hear "raised taxes" but keep listening for "I'm not going to". You have to turn the volume up very high to hear this but its there. That is not an audience member predicting what Mitt than says.

  • MSNBC's explanation is sad. Unless Rain Man is in the audience muttering to himself, who in their right mind would be sitting around whispering during the debate?

"He raised taxes. Ten minutes to Wapner. Vote for Romney because he won't raise taxes."

    Romney sucks, Ray.

  • go to "theres more to romneys whisper" by tommy for huckabee...this video is crystal clear....romneys a fraud

  • yeah right! dont be a fool yoh...those people who believe about this are anti-Romney..peace out

  • crooked mother fuckers.

    VOTE OBAMA!

  • fuck em they are all fuckin liers

  • People lissen very closely its not only he raised taxes its he raised taxes im not going to. You have to turn the volume up very high to hear it but it is there. lissen over and over again you will hear it.

  • It's obvious the whisper is his real voice and he's been lip synching this whole time. Totally busted.

  • I like to think it was a badly aimed hypersonic sound beam just because that'd be a great use for one.

  • Yesterday I saw two Huckabee signs and one Ron Paul sign at the corner of the street near my house which is a major intersection. Today I drove by and all three signs were gone and replaced by two Mitt Romney signs.

I've never seen a more dirty campaign in my entire life than Mitt Romney's. He truly thinks he and his thugs can win this election with money and chicanery.

  • "Someone?"....it's Rudy!!!

Throughout all the debates, he's been giggling and whispering while others (especially Paul) talked.

Nothing for nothing...I called it when Rudy was running for Mayor.........

Rudy G. is that kid in class that ratted you out to the teacher.

  • Domenico Montanaro, an NBC News political researcher, wrote on the network's political blog, First Read: "After reviewing the tapes, NBC determined that an open mic[rophone] picked up a whisper from the audience.

"It is unclear who it is that says it, but it was not said by any of the candidates, was not heard in the hall and, more importantly, not heard by the candidates."

  • If you believe that one... I got a bridge for sale. Cheap!!

  • thank pablosplace13 for having enough sense to research the truth. you people assume everything but know nothing!

  • I would like to know and it does not matter if you like him or not do you think the MEDIA is being unfair to RON PAUL even that he is ahead of RUDY They did not show a picture of RON PAUL before or after the debate.

  • Very, very unfair.

  • You would believe wearing your shoes on the wrong feet would cure the common cold if the MEDIA told you so.I do not care what canidate you like do your own research the MEDIA has been proven again and again to lie so is your statement a fact.

  • Read the true story and quit the conspiracy theories:

    MSNBC said:

    "Who was that whispering bandit?

Don't blame Romney's people; it was just someone in the crowd, NBC says"

  • How does someone in the crowd whisper into a moderator's mic? That makes no sense!

  • these guys are puppets! although they may be sincere and might have some good ideas, they are just part of the corrupt political machine.

  • Did you see the SMIRK on Tim Russert's face when he asked that question?

  • I am truly not into conspiracies. I laugh at them, in a general sense. I really do.

BUT! This is spooky. Something is amiss. Something is truly amiss here.

    It is funny but sad.

  • Tim Russett, "You're a fan of Reagan. Would you...?" (Builds up Mitt) Mitt Romney is presented the perfect opportunity to say the sound bite "I'm not going to raise taxes", TWICE. Then Tim Russett

rambles on more buying more time for Romney to collect his thoughts. This is so rigged.

  • I JUST REMOVED THE AUDIO FROM THAT SEGMENT AND LOOKED AT IT IN AUDIO SOFTWARE. THERE IS DEFINITELY A VOICE SAYING "SUPPORT" and THEN MITT ROMNEY SAYS "SUPPORT" a SECOND LATER!

UNBELIEVABLE! MSNBC IS LYING THRUOGH THEIR TEETH. SOMEONE WAS COACHING AND PROMPTING ROMNEY!

WHAT A MANNEQUIN HE IS! PEOPLE WAKE UP! HE'S TRYING TO BUY AN ELECTION HERE! THIS IS FRAUD!

  • I have been saying he is a mannequin for a few months, but I did not realize HE IS A TOTAL PUPPET. LITERALLY!

  • it was Mike Huckster nan! wispering TAXS! and it looked like it pissed Mitt off! lol

  • Ok, here is a video of Mitt getting prompted a second time.

    v=zK408oqEyOU

I have to conclude Romney is getting fed answers. In this segment Mitt changes his wording to what the person prompting him says.

The media needs to be all over this.

  • o yeah, these guys are role models for fair game.

    get a grip. fakers.

  • Are you Romney haters for real? If you disagree with Romney's policies, then fine. But do you realize how stupid and desperate you all look by claiming that someone was whispering to Romney during the debate? You guys look ridiculous. Is this the best you can do against Mitt Romney? Claim that he was cheating during the debate? LOL. No wonder Romney is doing so well. 2008 will be a great year!

  • Amplified voice:

    watch?v=7wfWDOxZkEM

He says more than just "he raised taxes"

  • We now have AUDIO proof that Divine Providence has chosen Gov. MITT ROMNEY for President of the United States of America. This is good enough for me and my family to get out the vote for MITT in 2008.

  • Sounds more like "We raced axis." :)

  • Is it that just he has this whisperer, or do they all and he just happened to get busted?

  • Played backward I think it says, "It's still alive" or 'It's a lion".

  • 2nd whisper: v=zK408oqEyOU

Mitt is coached to use "support" instead of "believe"

  • You want to see another whisper check this out! It hits at about .07 and it is the announcer that is whispering it "Their Way" is what he says. youtube (dot) com/watch?v=0NlIMQ31EjY

Ron Paul 2008 Listen to his response to the question as well, he smacks em good!

  • So if it's straight from the MSNBC website, that makes it truth?

  • "*** UPDATE *** After reviewing the tapes, NBC determined that an open mic picked up a whisper from the audience. It is unclear who it is that says it, but it was not said by any of the candidates, was not heard in the hall and, more importantly, not heard by the candidates." (FROM MSNBC WEBSITE)

    GET IT STRAIGHT!

  • Oh, I knew there was an explanation for this.

It's not that we inadvertently his coaching, its simply that he uttered exactly what was coincidentally spoken accross the hall by an audience told expressly to suppress speaking or ovation.

I'm so glad no other candidate shares his clairvoyance. Then I'd be concerned.

  • If we want a honest man we need to be voting for Mike Huckabe!

  • "We had some audio issues and Gov. Romney's mike wasn't working momentarily. Simple as that," MSNBC VP for Communications Jeremy Gaines said in a one-line e-mail response to questions about overheard whisper.

  • That makes no sense, it had nothing to do with his mic not working.

  • he didntg even know what reagan did!!! DUH a 1st grader would know that...c ya mitt Im gettin on the ron paul bandwagon,,at least hes honest...we should start callin him DIMwitt

  • Don't argue with the candidate, America. He doesn't have lobbyists running his campaign, he's not going to raise taxes, and he'll never hold his own opinion on any matter that is important to the well being of our country.

He'll have his ear piece in the whole time to give him the right answer. Or, he'll just talk it over with God.

    No worries!

  • just like every other candidate who now says, I approve this message......usher in the next crooked incompetent liar into office please and help yourself to trillions of tax dollars submitted by the working citizens. fuck all politicians.

  • PMSNBC is lying and doing damage control. LISTEN TO THE VOICE. It says "He raised taxes" then it says "I'm not gonna raise" and immediately Mitt responds "I am not going to raise taxes" - repeating EXACTLY what the voice said. HE WAS BEING COACHED and MSNBC is lying through their teeth.

  • How would Romney's microphone pick up something from an earpiece? The earpiece have to be loud enough to blow his ear-drum out! It's funny how he would have to be so clever to sneak a communication device into the debate and then stupid enough to have it turned up high enough to be heard. Why did we not hear any other "cueing" throughout he rest of hte debate? And why did the rest of hte panel not hear it? Wait! Oh yes. It is some kind of religious/MSNBC conspiracy!

  • There is a second whisper /watch?v=zK408oqEyOU

  • This is rediculous

  • Domenico Montanaro, an NBC News political researcher, wrote on the network's political blog, First Read: "After reviewing the tapes, NBC determined that an open mic[rophone] picked up a whisper from the audience.

"It is unclear who it is that says it, but it was not said by any of the candidates, was not heard in the hall and, more importantly, not heard by the candidates."

co-morderator Brian Williams also wrote an Article about it, Romney is innocent.

  • Innocent? Of being fed the response? We can't know that. He is guilty, in any case, of being a shmuck. Why is he always laughing under his breath? He's probably remembering a "dirty" limerick. He doesn't seem focused on the debate. He shouldn't be president. MSNBC tried to make the debate all about him and Ron Paul still won over 40% of the viewers. Ron Paul 2008.

  • This was the 2nd time this happened.

Romney was fed the word "Support" in the answer to Mike Huckabee's question.

  • You can bet if this had happened with one of the other candidates it would be the lead story all day off Drudge!

  • oh yeah. Imagine if this happened to like Ron Paul or something..these Neo Cons will definitely jump on that and it would be on the front page of every newspaper and website

  • who said that?

  • what the eff

  • Listen to the very short snippet of audio right before Mitt speaks. It sounds like "I'm not ..." then Mitt starts talking. That sounds like a cue to me.

  • Mitt doesnt need screwed with,...hes screwing himself beautifully.

  • Check the tape and see if was dubbed in later, seems like someone's screwing with Mitt

  • It's like something supernatural. Like a whisper from God. It's like when Mitt was momentarily caught out by a cryptic question God intervened to help him out. Certainly makes you think.

  • God helped him? Unbelievable what we'll choose to believe rather than accept truth.

  • "We had some audio issues and Gov. Romney's mike wasn't working momentarily. Simple as that," MSNBC VP for Communications Jeremy Gaines said in a one-line e-mail response to questions about overheard whisper.

  • That explanation doesn't really cut it with me. It doesn't account for the whisper in any way.

  • when i saw this on tv i assumed it was another candidate whispering

what is msnbc's offical explanation ?

  • They won't explain. The rumor going around is it was Frank Luntz, Romney's paid image / political consultant prompting him in his ear mic and there was an audio mishap and everyone could suddenly hear it.

  • You can bet if it was one of the other candidates this would be a lead story on all media outlets for days. But since Mitt is buying the election it is being swept under the rug.

  • then i listened VERY closely and could clearly hear "i'm not gonna" almost as romney said "im not gonna".

    .......yes i hear this too.

  • Breaking news the person whispering in Mitts ear was none other than Frank Lunts!!!

  • the "raised taxes"part seemed explainable, no conspiracy there. then i listened VERY closely and could clearly hear "i'm not gonna" almost as romney said "im not gonna". this is huge! im not a consp. theorist but there is clearly collusion at some level. you can only hear it well on some versions. it is very clear on tivo.

  • Folks....Someone just pointed out that you can here the start of another whisper sentance just after "HE Raised Taxes"....Listen again VERY carefully and you can here the whisperer start with more cues before Romney interrupts him..

  • Why would anyone believe MSNBC's explanation when they also gave Romney the most speaking time as well ? Romney got 21 minutes to Ron Pauls 6 minutes...Even Rudy who's done extremely poorly got 3 minutes more to speak than Ron Paul. That does not qualify as a debate....It

  • But Listen to the NEXT sentence that the Mystery voice says. He starts saying "Im not gonna..." and then Mitt Romney says "Im not gonna raise taxes" IMMEDIATELY after. People are not focusing on what the next words are in the phrase. Listen. Its faint but its there. Holy shit.

  • Be careful what you're saying. Digital cross-channel frequency interruption would only allow (given probabilistic algorithms) for a few seconds of audible noise over one or the other channel. Are you saying those few seconds were just enough for what we heard of a possible Romney operative feeding answers to our *future president*?

  • If you wanna know whether or not to vote for Romney, just ask someone who lives in Massachusetts. The answer is no.

  • this is worse than the scuba diving gear and vcr equipment causing the hump in Bush's suit during his presidential debate.

  • If you listen really carefully - you can hear the whisperer say "not raise taxes.... I'm not g...." then Romney speaks and says the exact same thing. Listen to a few different videos to find one with good quality, definitely he was being fed his "Lines".

  • what a load of crap from the Corporate Media Pigs! lol

  • For anyone saying it was someone whispering to Russert ..SHUT UP! Why would the interviewer not know about the question he is asking. He obviously does because of the way he phrased it. Although Russert is a total douche!

  • The argument that someone whispered to Russert "raise taxes" doesn't make any sense to me. For one thing, there is no one near Russert (at least that we can see). The second is what kidwave said -- Russert doesn't need someone coaching him as to what the questions that he is asking mean. The question is where is that whisper coming from? Is Romney wearing a small device on his suit? The whole thing stinks, just like the bulge in Bush's jacket.

  • He could have an earpiece. You put it in an ear, somebody talks through a mic and you can hear what their saying.

  • Some people are arguing that someone is actually prompting Russert, i.e. "helping him" bring meaning to his question. But, that makes no sense. The whisper comes almost exactly as Russert finishes the question. Wouldn't they wait until he was fully finished before prompting him? Clearly, the voice is for Romney.

  • what a joke,,, this stinks,,, at least the ether is wearing off and america is starting to wake up,,, i see this snowballing,,, its comming,,, oh boy its comming,,, go ron paul

  • so Mitt and the others get help with talking points in their ear while someone else turns Ron Paul's down or off. Do you see how many times he tries to adjust his earpiece trying to answer questions correctly?

  • Mitt is cheating in the debate. Someone is giving him talking points that we cant see.

What a joke the wwhole thing is a set up. What is wrong with this picture and people want to vote for this guy. You would have to be stupid

  • prove it yoh!?....u are crazy....

  • If anyone can rescue the economy at this point, it would have to be Mitt. The US is $53 trillion in debt, that is $400K per household. The dollar is becoming useless and the Euro is now becoming the credible currency. If we don't have a good economy you can forget foreign policy, fighting wars, or healthcare, funding for top education. The economy needs to be front and center, not religion, steriotypes and other trivial things.

  • You have got to be kidding! Do you know anything about Mitt Romney? Do you read? Do you use the brain God gave you? Mitt Romney knows nothing about Government, Nothing about the economy and nothing about history. If he did not come from wealth he would be selling used cars.

  • First Bush did it, not Romney. The Thought Police over at NBC are saying this was an audio flub. Yea, right. Notice if you search MSNBC's website it is scrubbed clean of any reference to it. I smell a rat.

  • I am an audio engineer and I cannot make people whisper if their microphone isn't working.

MSNBC's explanation is garbage. DON'T BELIEVE IT.

  • Mitt has to have his answers handed to him just like he needs to consult his lawyers before invadin Iran. What a phoney!

  • Another blatant example of Mitt Romney the big fake! MSNBC is just as bad for trying to cover it up. You Romney defenders only insult the peoples intelligence by saying otherwise.

  • Get the facts before you bashing other people to suit your own agenda!

"We had some audio issues and Gov. Romney's mike wasn't working momentarily. Simple as that," MSNBC VP for Communications Jeremy Gaines said in a one-line e-mail response to questions about overheard whisper.

  • The question was, "Are you going to do what Ronald Reagan did?" The whisperer told Mitt what Reagan did: "He raised taxes." So Mitt had to answer, "I'm not going to raise taxes." Mitt cheated, plain and simple.

  • everyone should promote this

link from websites, myspace, facebook, and youtube pages!

This needs to be #1 viewed!

The so called "Journalists" in our so called "Free Press" do not report these things and

WE the people put it out there and make sure people know, it will be swept under the rug.

Our system is so fixed and controlled by big money, the corporate owned media, and multimillion dollar candidates -

Come on CITIZENS - do something, stand up - let's get our democracy back!

  • mpertie- how stupid are u exactly? No one was next to him. It was in his earpiece dummy.

  • i think that hints is for the interviewer and not for romney...cause romney said his not gonna raise taxes but the hints say that raise taxes..

  • Duh rldc16 ! Why would the interviewer not know about the question he is asking. He obviously does because of the way he phrased it. Although Russert is a total douche!

  • whatever dude! but this video is funny..people who believe this are crazy or maybe...mga tagahanga lang na ibang candidates! hahahah! get it?

  • What?

  • He was cued.

  • It was someone whispering to Tim Russert to make mention that Reagan had raised taxes so the audience knew what the question was about. The question asked didn't say what Reagan did so the vast majority of the audience didn't know what he was asking. So, someone whispered to Tim to mention it but Romney did it for him. It wasn't being whispered to Romney. He has no earpieces and no one is even close to him to whisper anything.

  • Perhaps. However, nobody is whisperng to Tim. So the same can be said for him. The timing of this is just too perfect.
