Also guys, I think some weapons were removed because they are modified versions of existing weapons. I think Capcom wanted to go back to the core elements of the game.

Dual Swords is a modification of Sword n' Shield.

Hunting Horn is a modification of Hammer.

Gunlance is a modification of Lance.

As for Bow.... They should've kept that one. XD

Yeah I know. With all due respect I'm just disagreeing with you. IMO the reasons for the 4 weapon's removal are redundancy and functionality. When you think about what they did they mostly removed the counterpart to each weapon. This way each weapon's gameplay is far more distinct, instead of the pairing that happened in mh2. The similarities are arguable but there's also issues with functionality (mainly ds, HH). I'd go on but I'm running out of characters.

wat r u on about lightning attribute can work fine look at electric eels and when an arrow is shot under water it travel about 10 feet and stops because there is more friction and drag under water to slow it down idot y r u so botherd about bows any way there not very good and r for noobs so they can just stand really far away so they dont get hit bows are for pussys

its a video game buddy, there is no pussy in it LOL. also there is no "noob" weapon or "noob" item in the game, its all there to use for a reason. who ever came up with that is a idiot, and your a idiot for using the analogy. There's alot more things in that game that don't make sense then a fucking arrow shooting through water rofl. Eels are different then ragia mind you.

ur a frikin idiot if u actually see a "harpoon" being fired under water u would notice that it dosnt go very far plus a "harpoon gun" uses compressed gas to fire not your own strength like a bow

I don't know for a fact why they took out some of the weapons the way they did. But I'm fairly sure they didn't do it for the way you think they did, or at least i sincerely and deeply hope not. It'd be a ridiculous reason for removing such game play for the sake of realism that wouldn't even be all that far out. WoW has done underwater bows, and such other arguments as "there were other weird things in this game" is not false. eg. Flying rhyno a.k.a monoblos, sharpening a mace...

Actually If you knew anything Eager Cleaver comes right before Devil Slicer which is in MHF. True Devil Slicer comes after Devil slicer and makes its appearance in MHF2 then goes in to wailing cleaver and such in MHFU. Lrn2Upgrades.

you know why? try to imaging firing a hunting bow underwater. as for the rest, gunlances would be uunable to fire uderwater, making them just lances, and hunting horns cant be heard underwater, making then hammers. as for dual blades, I have no clue.

i'll explain how my friend explain it...there is no Garthering quest....instead u can just walk off on ur own from moga village theres a guy who has a box the forshadows the forecast for u with description of weither day or night and wat monsters gonna be there u get points moga points for straight out killing in the new kind of free raom system and MoisesL if i made any mistakes would you kindly correct them if u get the time

I don't know man, maybe the creators felt it was unnecessary and that SnS was underused who knows, the gunlances I could care less about, it's a shame bows had to go though, I guess it makes sense that they're gone since they wouldn't work well underwater. I guess we did get medium bowguns and slashxaxes though : D
