  • I love Loreena McKennitt, but this song has NOTHING to do with anything in the movie. Totally wrong tone. Plus, they didn't even use it in the film!

  • @LindseyGrace55 you mean "fable" by robert miles?

as a kid i used to watch the trailer just for the song, i thinkit works wonderfully well with the movie, i mean it is after all a fairytale..

  • @LindseyGrace55 I think it matches the medieval/Renaissance feel to the movie...I think the last techno one doesn't match.

  • the movie was one of the best i've ever seen!! hey what's the song that starts in 1.10 called!! oh it's so cool!!!

  • @silvermangawolfygirl It's a song by Robert Miles (1996) on the Dreamland Album. It's called Fable (message version). I believe. ;)

  • this kinda reminds me of ella enchanted

  • @MegaHellokittyXD FUCK ELLA ENCHATED compared to this movie

  • @ellucinate I've seen both movies and I must ask you why would you compare them? them have nothing to do in common.

  • @ke11yke11z my comment was in response to MegaHellokittyXD's comment

  • What's the name of that song? from 0:06 to 1:03. Or who sings it? Is it Enigma?

  • @MrAbramsA1 It's call "The Mummer's Dance" by Loreena McKennitt

  • Best Cinderella movie YET!

  • this was so cute

  • the movie seems great, but the background music made it kinda look cheesy and boring.

  • @mrosegenita Back then when it came out, the music went well with it. Paula Cole (I think) and Robert Miles were on the charts in the 90's so it made sense.

  • this is my most favorite movies, right on the money couldn't have been written any better

  • can someone please tell me the song thats layed at 1:09-1:38 please!!!! T_T

  • @martin2rose tell me a fable

  • @martin2rose ROBERT MILES-FABLE

  • I watched this stupid ass movie with a chick. Why do all the French people have English accents????

  • I'd only watch this if the prince was a bit hotter :P

  • what song plays in the beginning?

  • @zoozoobee77 "The Mummers Dance" by loreena Mckennitt :)

  • Comment removed

  • for the whole movie i loved prince henry and danielle :D ! ....up until the part where he completeley humilaited her at the ball right after her stepmom did!-''you will not address me so informally!''-ugh what a ass! :'( and then he comes running back to her and says ''hello''. danielle let him off too easy with just a ''hello'' back. I've never seen a prince so cruel.

  • LOL the 80's-ish music xD

  • ahh, this movie brings me memories of jump and seventeen magazine, glitter/shimmer makeup, freddie prince jr, and watching snick.

  • I loved this movie :D

  • what's this song called?

  • @rosie11954

I don't know the second song, but the beginning one is called "Mummer's Dance" by Loreena Mckennitt.

  • @rosie11954 The second song is ''Tell me a fable''.

  • the movie is good..the trailer sux

  • I remember seeing this in the theaters when it first came out and I was eight years old with my mother. This film is so incredible, the costumes beautiful, the actors and cinematography sensational, and to this day remains one of my favorite films of all time.

  • I was lucky enough to have a wonderful husband who tracked down and bought one of the few originals of the painting from the movie set for my 40th birthday last year. I later found that there were only 7 made and I have the one from the beginning of the movie that the Queen has beside her bed as she starts to tell the story. I love everyting about this movie.

  • @Durchlaucht1970 omgosh jealous!!

  • @Durchlaucht1970 what about the fact it is set in france yet everyone has an english accent?

  • @thestaple8 I fail to see your point! How does that change someones enjoyment of the movie? Many and most movies deal in situations where you have to suspend reality for the sake of the story.

  • @thestaple8 It makes more sense if you put on the French version of the film.

  • @thestaple8 It will never be bad compared to Leonardo DiCaprio's portrayal of Louis XIV in Man in the Iron Mask.

  • @thestaple8 So what? This is an american movie. Made for American people. If I had my way I would have made them American like the Disney Version. Its not our fault French Accents are difficult to understand. So we use English Accents since that is the only European Accent we could fully understand without using "Subtitles". This is just plain nitpicking. The movie is still great and the fact they set the movie in France shows that the creators honor the stories origins.

  • @sit2go and french accent would be still english language, so there is no reason to use it :) (even english accent is a little bit unnecessary, since this is a fairytale, not a documentary, talking a little more archaic than regular american would be enough. :))

  • When I was a little girl I saw this trailer on some video we had. For some reason it touched me and I cried. I watched it over and over again. A couple of years later Ever After came out on TV and I didn't like the movie. Still this trailer moves me... I don't know why.

  • im watching this now! :)

  • i just want too watch this NOW

  • The fable track in this trailer makes it look amazing, just like the film!

  • What's the name of the songs that apeear here?

  • @princessofgaston the first one is ever after by enya and the second is listed below, fable by robert miles

  • @allys527 thanks !! ^^

  • @allys527-Actually the first song is "The Mummers' Dance" by Loreena McKennitt.

  • i think this will always be my favorite cinderella film. perfect cast!

  • I remember this movie being sooo popular back in '98.

  • this is my favorite movie ever!!! i can quote it line for line:)

  • my god.. I've been looking for this movie for about two years..... I live in norway and osmehow all the good movies seem to skip this country....anyway.. I love this trailer!!!

  • Alguien sabe como se llama la última canción? Cuándo ella dice Just breath?

  • @mansaquietud I think it's "Fable" by Robert Miles but I'm not sure if it's a remix.

  • @mansaquietud I think it's "Fable" by Robert Miles but I'm not sure if it's a remix.

  • i dont like this to much cause its long and its not too good

  • Wow I forgot all about how much I love this movie. I just started reading the book and felt like watching the trailer. I am 14 and I remember when I was 7 they played it on the television and I watched it with my grandmother and mother at my grandma's house. I am totally gonna have to watch this again. XD

  • one of my favorites!!! I was on my junior high when this came up. XD

  • I really love this movie, it's one of my favorite cinderella versions :D

  • Thank you for telling the names of the songs from this trailer!! I am watching the movie right now on WE and LOVE the songs and the movie of course!

  • One of my favourite movies ever.

And Drew Barrymore is so amazing in this film!

  • It's my favorite film. <3

  • @DraculanzaJumper; if I remember correctly it's Robert Miles "Fable"

  • @therubysinger Loreena McKennitt - The Mummers' dance

  • Does anyone know what the last song is called? The one that goes "Tell me a fable"?

  • @DraculanzaJumper ; If i remember correctly; it's Robert Miles' "Fable". I don't remember if it was some sort of special remix of it though.

  • Brings back memories...

  • I LOOOOOOVE this film, I watch it every time it comes on TV. It's like catnip, er people-nip

  • Drew Berrymore is fantastically underrated. Just watched "He's Just No That Into You" yesterday... LOVE that woman!

  • LOVE THOSE PANTS ON DOUGRAY!!!! really emphasizes the size of his manhood hidden beneath! GAWD!!!!

  • @jeepgayguy lmfao... wow. Love how people can say these types of things about celebrity men whilst regular men rarely ever receive any consistent compliments.

  • @jeepgayguy omg i couldnt stop looking lmaooooo !

  • It seems to me that fairytales must be like the new trend in hollywood right now, granted this one was back in '98. But they're releasing movies like Beastly and Red Riding Hood, I hope they keep going with this :)

  • the best movie ever! <3

  • robert miles!!! <3

  • now this is a trailer!

  • just breath

  • how have i never heard of this before? downloading it nowww

  • A.MA.ZING movie

  • @Kariatida

    "Fable" from Robert Miles

  • @tylernautica thank you so so so much :) I've looking for this song since Anastacia was released :)

  • Gosh I feel nostalgic. I remember when I was 6 years old, this trailer was on Anastacia video and I played this part over and over again. Then I forget and losed videotape, but then after 13 years I found it again, and when I saw this trailer, gosh I feel so damn nostalgic and I finally I found this song <4 It takes 13 years lol

  • @deathvalent that's how i found out about the movie as well :)

  • I love this movie so much! It's one of those movie you never get tired if. You watch it and think, once upon a time, film makers could actually make movies that showed beauty and romance and not overdo it, make it cheesy or boring. I always smile at seeing this movie and you bet I bought the DVD as soon as I saw it! Probably my favorite with Drew! more people needs to see this!

  • WHAT IS THE SONG PLAYING IN THIS TRAILER!!

  • @LOL2240 There are two songs actually. The first one is "The Mummer's dance" and the second one is "Fable" from Robert Miles.

  • @Dari1109 Thanks :D

  • plz some1 upload all the parts 4 dis movie

  • best film ever i know the whole film word for word

  • I LOVE the fact that in 98, film makers where able to produce a fairytale classic that stayed true to the fable, yet was able to portray a beautiful, strong and intellegant without losing the charm, romance, and intrigue that we love in classics and old Disney movies!!!

One of my absolute favourites of all time.....pity it isn't much appreciated...

  • My second favorite movie of all time. I still watch the trailer before I watch the movie on TV. Also...I want that Fairy Dress.

  • "just breathe." so much love for this movie. <3

  • I am looking for the clip where she tells off the prince:)

  • The trailer is better than the movie i find

  • Erm Dance tunes don't really work in a Grimm tale.. kinda looks a bit silly.

  • It was such a brilliant idea to use "Fable" from Robert Miles in the trailer, it gaves a modern/mystic feel to the film

  • Is it just me or does anyone else think Gerard Butler would have been superb as the prince?!

  • @screamingmean uh no u weirdo

  • @knoxdude567 haha well an opinion is just an opinion

  • @screamingmean No, Gerard Butler would be too sexy for the prince's role and wouldn't be able to pull off the brooding persona Dougray Scott exemplified

  • Comment removed

  • @BombasticPeach Good eye candy though lmao ;)p

  • @screamingmean, if the movie was remade now, YES. problem would be to find someone as beautiful as Ms. Barrymore. She really did an excellent job in this film. my only quibble with the trailer is that at 1:06, the shot of the Prince is from the left side, whereas it's from the right side in the movie.

  • @screamingmean NOOOOO!!!!! lol. Dougray was perfect as the prince!

  • @screamingmean well the first movie i ended up seeing with gerard was the ugly truth so no cant really picture it lolll

  • @purediamond101 Watch dracula 2000. His hotness reaches a new level of sexy. The prince has the same hair as he does in that movie is y i c it. haha

  • @screamingmean lol thank you. :) we'll seee ;) lollllssz

  • AHHH--OOOOOOO!!!!

  • Drew really shows her talents in this movie. Loved it. Loved her. One of my all time favs:)

  • whats the name of the song

  • @popferth The first song is called The Mummer's Dance Remix by Loreena McKennitt and the second is called Tell Me A Fable by Robert Miles.

Sorry, I tried answering this last night but my computer screwed up...must be the snow. LOL. :-)

  • @MaddoxPointMan hahaha no problen
