  • Cool tips, thx man!

  • Rookie Rep + 1

  • How to learn to diving dive altime on your bed so you can do it

  • that's pretty good for a goal kick, they aren't easy

  • this really help wi-th my freestyle team thx a lot dude

  • Your run up to the goalkick is dodgy lolz

  • I'm a goalie too and up until this season my defender had to take kicks for me but I can do it easy now. And this is how it worked for me.. I have a kicking tee for a different sport (Gaelic Football) where goalkeepers are allowed to use a tee (Which lifts the ball up a bit) and because of that I'm able to kick of the ground now! You might not be able to get a tee in America but you could use a Rugby tee or even a marking cone! Anything to make the ball a little higher.

  • love the fact that you have to find a tuft of grass

  • The dude below my post is a douche. It's not the field that makes u better. Most if not all the best soccer players today didn't have the best of the best fields or even cleats. You cocky Mofo, go brag somewhere else douche.

  • DAMN u live somewhere in ghetto!? wow my local field looks great and fresh where i play only Lmao my school field looks like pro

  • @unknownstudd69, its not a about the field its the about the player

  • @Edwin971combatarms I know...I was talking about the FIELDS....where this dude lives this is called Ghetto field well from my area because i live in a higher quality place even public field looks great and fresh my high schools field looks like actual Pro's field

  • @unknownstudd69, where i live me and my freinds built our own soccer field homemade we made it all with materials we had laying around and stuff lol where i live its kind of urban but the sport is fun to play wether its on a pro field or not

  • @Edwin971combatarms yeah thats great and cool you did that....and Yeah football/soccer is fun no matter what field your in

  • @unknownstudd69, yep yep !!! :D

  • i think i got the arm strength down. i've been doing arm building from baseball

  • i have xperience with annoyin refs

  • Trust me you should play a field like that a couple of times. I learned to play on a field like that and now i'm definitely not afraid of to much diving wise or anything. It definitely makes you man up.

  • you are not worth me saying a whole paragraph or a sentence because im a keeper too all im going to say is two words....... you suck

  • lol Im a Keeper too. And my d takes my goal kicks as well cause I have trouble with those (cant get any lift at all). I'm working hard on it though! As you said PRACTICE

  • Any way You are a good goalkeeper . Keep training and always learn about goalkeeper's Technic. Good luck

  • you dont need a huge run up for goalkicks, i only take three short steps back, and i hit just over the half way line, take two back, then one more to the side

  • How to be a Goalkeeper: Throwing, Punting, and Bad Goal Kicking

    lol bad goal kicking

  • do not run when you kick it ......the ball should be forwed before you kicking and messuare the ball when you drop from your hand then kick it before the ball touch the ground . cheers

  • dude u talk to much :D

  • You fucking lazy cunt .... did the school leave you any homework to do ???

  • @luigivasquez4 You fucking lazy cunt ..... did you think that i might have been smart enough to do all the things i needed to get done before i came out and made the videos? troll...

  • @19goalkeeper Looks like my old middle school. Good ol' midlo middle, that piece of shit...

  • @19goalkeeper PLEASE reply, what gloves do you use?

  • @luigivasquez4 You are really mean you know!

  • @luigivasquez4 Faggot, you should put your head on the floor and let him practice his goal kicks with your ugly fucking skull.

  • are you fucking kidding me?

  • yea i had the same problem and they told me to scoop the bottom part of the ball as hard as i could and i kept trying an in no time i kicked way better

  • you really dont have to kick the ball hard as long as you get it from the bottom you will get the ball alot more furthur because if you kick it with power it will just make a dip down and most likely lose posetion real close to your side of the field

  • you kicked low because you stepped too far past the ball when you ran in and so came over the top of the ball instead of behind or under it.

  • Sorry everyone, that was my brother posting that comment and I was wondering why i was getting lodsa hate comments :P

  • americans dont know shit about soccer!

  • Dude tell ur camera guyh to actually record the ball while ur kicking cuz all I saw was the ground not being able to see the kick

  • when you pickthe ball up you cross your arms because if the ball is wet it can easily slip

  • your like me i cant kick a ball off the ground but i cant punt it

  • the most rubish keeper training advice ever seen know the area bud and you need to use the opposite hand when doing a kick out of the hands is why your technique is all wrong

  • @bigsaithecat again, i have had many people tell me that my drop technique is wrong cause it apparently throws me off balance. It feels more awkward to me dropping with the other hand, setting the motion off bad, and ending up in a shanked punt. with the technique i show here, i PERSONALLY feel more comfortable with. it may be different for other goalkeepers, but this is my way of doing it

  • @19goalkeeper do you like chivas or real madrid

  • @thedanny12385 i don't watch soccer anymore

  • the most rubish keeper training advice ever seen know the area bud

  • this had helped me in my punting skills, thanks man :)

  • ask you a qn. If i kick a goal kick and it reaches like plus minus 10m further from the half line, is that a good goal kick? I'm 16 btw.

  • awesome vids

  • bad technique...

  • the camera dude needs to show where the ball goes in the net. im tired of looking at the ground everytime you kick the ball.

  • @redsoxfan80296 yeah sorry, my dad was the camera man. even getting this quality took several takes

  • @19goalkeeper oh dont worry about it! :)

  • @19goalkeeper lol

  • u will have more success as a goal kick taker if u put your foot under the ball and curve your foot right about when u are about to hit the ball.and follow through by letting your foot follow through normally

  • Personally i drop the ball from my right hand to my left foot from an angle, thats just my style, 100% ill hit one of my strikers between the other 18 yard box and halfway, i agree with that you said about not coming straight on.

  • very confusion . too much headache ..

  • ok, i see your problem in the goal kicks. try planting your left foot wider, about your shoulder-width , bend your left leg a little more, keep your eyes on the part of the ball you wish to make contact with and lean back. Also, don't try to dive it in like a shot,it should be pretty fluid as a whole. if you would like,i can give you a great link to a tutorial for flighted balls that really helps

  • are you goalkeeper, i think you not

  • dude the original technique is that u have to drop the ball with the opposite hand from ur kicking leg...

  • if u are the goalkeeper for a school team do they generally run as much as the rest of the team? and what kind of drills do you have to do?

  • @tomsjj16 we run just as much as everyone else (depending on where you go to school, it just doesn't matter as much but you still want to be as in shape as possible). i'll make a video on several drills and conditioning

  • @Jd3acs go right ahead and make your own vids then, don't bother watching mine

  • @Jd3acs Hey, there is a few of us here in America that love the game as well, please respect that, because we can't control what the rest of out country is like.

  • @Jd3acs according to the world cup, american goal keepers and english goal keepers are pretty similar in skill!

  • @steveyk dont insult american goalkeepers like that =P

  • @Jd3acs Judging by how many American Goalkeepers start in the EPL, and England's lack of Goalkeeping in the World Cup, I would think you would want US Keepers showing how it's done.

  • @Jd3acs i know this is old, but you're beautiful game? anyone can play this sport. he's just teaching the youngsters how to play ball

  • @tricolor707 yeah, sorry :P that was ages ago and i was a little sh*t - and after the world cup, i can't really talk! haha

  • @Jd3acsyea i understand. that's the beauty about football. everyone has their own style.

yea i know it was a horrible world cup for England. You shoulda seen Beckham's face when Green let Dempsey's shot go through ahaha

  • @Jd3acs

    Super cool racism!

You're probably terrible at this game,

    just for saying that.

  • @Jd3acs you probably suck anyways..i'm CHILeAN so don't tell me how to play....stupid British and their yellow teeth

  • i lik da grasss....

  • @MrMiguelm12 lol or lack there of

  • ok that feild will make you a man in no time.

  • @1234thesoccerman yeah the fields are extremely shitty around here so you really learn to be fearless the hard way lol

  • wearing aqua gloves on dirt haha

  • @19goalkeeper

your goalkeeping is bad but the techniques you show helped me improve a lot, thanks for uploading this video persuaded me to subscribe

  • Lean back when youre taking goal kicks and follow through strong footed

  • you have never been taught proper punting techniques. if youre right footed you toss the ball with your left hand to your right foot. dropping the ball with your right hand to your right foot throws your body out of balance and often results in shanked punts

  • @bighurt35dh i have heard that from some people but me personally, it feels too weird to drop it with my left hand so thats why i don't. i don't find myself doing that terribly dropping with the "wrong" hand, but seeing as my technique has yet to fail me, i'm sticking with mine

  • I know what your saying, I used to do it as well when I was in high school and it felt very weird when i was learning to toss it with the left hand but in the long run it will pay off once you get used to it, i play D2 college soccer right now and got 2 assists off punts this season, when you watch pro games they all toss with their opposite hand.

  • It will be difficult at first and will take some getting used to but once you get it down it will dramatically improve the distance and accuracy of your punts

  • Dude! you dont know how to do goal kicks! its not about hit the ball hard and under. watch other videos so you can learn!

  • I have same problem lofting the ball. I'll have to get a defender to take it instead.

  • The style petr czech uses is much better, the ball goes straighter and harder since the leg get a extension of the pending, and since he hit the balle just below the middle and get that much more power it comes longer and more in mid air..

  • there really is no right or wrong way and even though, yes petr cech has great success with his punting motion but thats what works for him. if his motion seems completely foreign to you, it's not worth doing unless you think you can get it down in enough time before the game

  • thanks for the comments guys, sorry that it has been so long since i've really posted much of anything. I have been busy like you wouldn't believe, travel up and down the east coast. I am currently working on the content of some more videos and those should cover most of your questions. If you do have any kind of problems, don't hesitate to contact me and I'll do whatever I can to help.

    Bobby

  • thank you for your videos.

  • yeh i cannot kick the ball off the ground very far so have u got any tips please

  • i used to be terrible at kicking because i used to go and try to smash it, biut what u gotta do is run, keep ur eye on the ball and strike it in te posistion he has shown at about 80% power because if u tr to smash it it will go anywhere. this generally works for me hope it helps

  • its not about how hard you hit it; it is all momentum and getting your foot below the ball :)

  • I have problem kicking from the ground to, though for me its because i get under the ball too much so it ends up more of a chip than a kick, all i would suggest is try not to kick the leather off the ball and relax a lot more as it helps me.... good vid fella!!!

  • oh i tried your technique on the punt with the 'one step' and stuf, and i dont really have problems with it anymore thanks

  • your videos are accually more helpful than those expert village videos...

    i cant lie

  • its because he has actual experience... i agree a 100%

  • very good man

  • for 19goalkeeper: if you use the right leg to throw the ball, you have to put the ball in front of this leg with the LEFT hand. if you use the left leg, you have to put the ball withe the right hand. i've seen in this video this little 'mistake'.

  • there is no exact right or wrong way to put the ball, just do whatever feels natural and will put the ball down field

  • for your goal-kicks

liked you pointed out dont rush on your approach to the ball when your ready to kick your supporting leg aka ( non kicking leg for people who are retarted) should be bent and should be over the ball. with your kicking leg you should try to make a swinging motion which will create loft of the ball and making it go high and far i am a goalkeeper too and when i got this down my goal kicks were way better

hope i have helped with you and your goalkicks

  • i've actually got my goal kicks down, i just have had absolutely no time what so ever to complete my tutorial series

  • ur pretty good except goal kickin

  • I've actually been working on that and I'm ready to redo that portion of the video because I'm starting to smash them to around midfield

  • oh keep up the good work

  • nice goalie!!
