  • Great Review. I am getting the Sig because of the single action hammer. But I WILL be getting a trigger job done to tighten that trigger slack a little. Once again, Good review, very helpfull.

  • @FMJHollowPoint thats because im a fat ass, but ive got some nice guns!

  • lmao this dude breathes heavy

  • Do u EDC ur guns with the light on if so what holsters do u use?The single action onthe SIG i sgreat but have u check into a Ghost trigger for the Glock? Very sweet.By the way when I was shooting wedding pictures I used a Hasselblad an a Nikon why u go by Nikon?

  • I thought sigs came with a lifetime warranty so if you have any parts break they SHOULD just fix it for you...free...no point in buying it yourself

  • sig is just another copy of a glock. Hands down glock all the way. Proven by law enforcement officer, they carry glock over any other firearm out there, which says alot about the over all of a pistol.

  • @wilmerpola777 It may suck, but this pistol, or any of sigs pistols are not copies of a Glock. Sigs are hammer fired. The M&P, XD, SR9, SW99, Walther P99, Steyr M9, Are Glock offs.

  • Just for thought, Glock is the only one with a "Million Round Club". But I'd be happy to have anyone of them

  • I've owned all weapons mentioned, still own the XD 9. The glock is the best of the bunch, it'd be a toss up with the Sig and XD in my book, all are excellent. The XDs biggest hang up is you NEED to keep it oiled well.

  • I have the sig pro 2022 chambered in a 40s&w and absolutely love it. I can't stand glocks. There so over rated and over priced. Sorry all you glock lovers but you gotta get off that band wagon. Do you know what a glock is? It's just another rap song and I can't stand rap music. Sorry just speaking the ugly truth.

  • Ok some advice, 1st when you make your vids please keep your mouth away from your mic on the camera no one wants to hear your heavy breathing over your talking it's so annoying, 2nd as much as you repeated yourself it sounded like you were trying to sell the glock more because of aftermarket parts but to be honest I'd trust the name more like SIG!

  • @RoadHardOffRoad people that talk sh** never have any videos of their own up lol,

it never fails. Your comments are off base and immature. you're probably under 30 and live at home.

  • @NIKON777 lol, he has videos now!

  • @RoadHardOffRoad sigs suck

  • I have had the Glock 19 and currently own the Sig. The Glock in my opinion is a great gun however it is what it is and you can get after market repair parts-you should never need to. In my 20+ years I have own just about every single handgun and fired them to hell and never have I ever broke one-The day I do will be the day the gun goes bye bye. Another thing. Stove pipes. Again-a good gun should chew through all sorts of ammo. Gun care has alot to do with it. Sig has been great since 92 for me.

  • I'd trust the XD 9 but i owned an XDm and didn't care fort it.

  • Good info, going to buy a g26 in a couple of months, do you think it would be close in accuracy to my Sig SP2022, which is pretty accurate.

  • @047parke Honestly I personally was all that accurate with the 26 when I had one. Im buying a new one and plan to practice a lot with it.

  • Good vid but brother, stay away from Blazer Brass!

  • Hey man, nice video. I was thinking about getting the sig 2022. Right now I own an FNP 9 USG. I noticed that you also did a video on this gun. How do you think the sig 2022 compares to the FNP 9?

  • which gun has the smoothest / lightest trigger pull ?

I hear good things about Glock trigger pull, but haven't heard about Sig

  • i just picked up that sig this week and the sig and the xd are the best the sig feels very much like my xd im not a huge glock fan i dont know about the ccw part because i live in the only state where we dont have that

  • glocks are good weapons but id grab my xdm over my glocks any day of the week. i dont have an xd but i can vouch for an xdm and it blows glock out of the water

  • glock would only jam if the ammo is a problem, especially reloads.

  • Yes, get the 2022 and clean it up and shoot. good weapon.

  • Ive shot over 5,000 rounds thru my 2022 :) no problem :) once at the range this dude's glock 19 jammed 4 times on every clip, true story :)

  • @240sxcoupe09 i didnt realize that glocks used clips?

  • its funny you have a video up about the sp2022 because I am comparing the 19 to the 2022. thanks man.

  • i had a chance to shoot and compare between sig226 and glock 19. even though the sig is a full size and glock 19 is compact i was looking more into how the gun feels when shooting, though sig has better ergonomic to me with the E2 pistol grip, but theres something about glock 19 that makes me prefer this gun when shooting, an edge over the sig which is enough reason for me to choose glock over the expensive sig.

note: the price had nothing to do with it.

  • what tac light is that?

  • @spurs167 streamlight TLR-1

  • the glock is just sleek and smooth and seems much better for carry. Those who have one, can you carry it comfortably? Love sig but would rather have a 229 but the price difference is key. Sig's are pricy!

  • so for a shtf ud take the glock but u like the sig better? those sigs are steals any sig under 500$ is a great deal. i guess u would just have to buy 2 sigs, ya know cause ud have replacement parts then o.- lol

  • My wife as the SigPro 2340 (older version of the SP2022) and I have a G19. I personally like the glock better and it's for a couple of reasons. Slightly lighter, barrel sits lower, but mainly it's the trigger pull of the glock. It's the same each and every time. With the Sig you have to basically learn 2 triggers DA and SA and I don't care for that.

  • @Pill88Dickle Not to mention magazines! Any Glock magazine of the same caliber will fit (provided it's from a gun with the same size or larger frame, of course.) Thus a G19 will take a G17 mag, a G26 will take a G19 or G17 mag, etc. Any of them will take the 32-round (!!) G18 mag. Really awesome feature.

  • The local gunshop I frequent has the sig pro for $130-150 LESS than a glock... and Sig is a PROVEN brand, the pro is a known police service weapon too, like the glock, HK etc... planning to get one real soon for my FIRST high cap gun, my other stuff been single stack.

  • @cramsa Glocks are pretty well-proven themselves...and a large number of PD's around the world (including domestically) are issuing them. Both are great weapons, it comes down to personal preference. For most people the grip angle is the deciding factor; I like the more "Luger-like" angle of the Glock, others like a more vertical grip. Neither is right or wrong. I will also admit the Glock triggers are pretty bad--but for a defensive pistol I can accept it and I've learned to shoot OK with it.

  • never appreciated Glocks until I bought used G17 gen3, has quickly gained my trust, very accurate, 100%reliable, simple, relatively inexpensive but fit/finish is top notch. Glock Customer service is reputted to be outstanding but doubt I'll need them- the pistol is very well made. Overall a fantastic firearm. Nothing against Sig, HK but they cost much more and are not necessarily more accurate. That's bullshit. I know I've owned them. They all shot well because I shoot well, no not bragging.

  • I have both of these and they are great. The Sig mags are hard to find and very expensive.

  • Another bonus would be in case you ever have a lady bump into you while carrying and ask "Whats That?" Its much more bad ass to say "Oh that? just another black glock" instead of saying "Sick Sour"......hey it could happen

  • very informative. thanks man

  • i perfer a glock or a p380

  • Do u know anything about the Sig 2022? Ican get one for$390 but don't know if any good also checking out the Sig P239 if u can rate these guns it wuld be very helpful to me.

  • @ross512009 yes the 2022 is a awesome gun. the 239 is smaller for concealed carry, but has a tad more recoil do to the size.

  • @ross512009 i just bought a sig for 30 dollars new in package found it at some old store on sale :)

  • @undeadschoolbus No you didn't.

  • Comment removed

  • @ross512009 if it is not to late... get the 239... i love it, its my ccw gun and i swear by it. its just an amazing all around gun, all metal construction, double/single action ability. its my gun of choice, my dad carried one for years while doing undercover le. work and its his gun of choice too.

  • Well if u shot the Sig better than Glock that's something to consider as u do not want to miss the bad guys. Seems like the Sig is not a bad deal since I believe I can find it for cheaper than the glock maybe cause it's not as popular as the glock. One last question the Glock u were shooting was it a Gen 4?

  • @ross512009 The Glock was gen 3. I refuse to buy a Gen 4 in 9mm. too many problems.

  • Yo Bro you say that the Sig has more muzzle flip so which one did u shoot more accurately. Also u did not mention that the pin on the Sig has to be taken out for field strip which is a pain in the A compare to the easy take down of the Glock and lastly how did the Sig weight feel in your EDC compared to the lighter wt of the Glock?.

  • @ross512009 Hey, yeah I shoot the sig better, but the Glock is indeed lighter, and easier to field strip.

  • Everytime I buy cheap ammo, the dealer always asks what I will be shooting it with... When my response is Glock, his response is no problem...

  • Comment removed

  • @KristinaMG09 You want some cheese for that whine?

  • I own a XD40, Sig Sauer SP2022, S&W M&P, and I used to own a Glock 21. My favorite by far and cheapest of the four is the Sig. I find it more comfortable for me and easier to shoot. I absolutely love the grips one the pistol as well. I didn't like the Glock at all and probably won't ever own another one. But thats just my opinion. I'm forever a Sig fan though, just wish there was more parts around for it.

  • @LedZeppelin13k7 I don't really like Sigs, the hammer drop on most of them bite my hand D:

  • bolth great guns, i just picked up the sig sp2022 .40cal check that gun out very good

  • Sig is the better overall gun. Glock is a good gun and popular, but Sig feels better in your hand.

  • Good review/talking points

  • 1. Aside from the availability of parts for the Glock, which one one would you choose & why if getting parts were not an issue?

    2. I'm debating between the 19 & the 23. I have yet to fire a weapon in .40 cal, so i wanted to know if you can tell me if there would be a big difference in the recoil between the 19 & 23?

  • Yo wassup mouth breather, I can smell your teeth over the Internet.

  • GLOCK KICKS ASS

  • since when did dark vader start packing heat ha

  • Comment removed

  • @d5crimson

    Fuckin' beaners! lol

  • @mexicanmaniac214

Its DARTH Vader, not dark. Take your dumbass back across the border.

  • @star5jo No, you don't have a Glock 18. Shut the fuck up.

  • LOL I HEARD YOUR DAUGHTER AT 2:22 NOT MAKING FUN OF YOU K

  • Comment removed

  • xd's are decent at best, but man they are BUTT ASS UGLY!

  • Damn bro, you breathe like your 400 lbs.

  • Great video, keep up the good work. I'm not a fan of the SprFXD's either. Got both sig and g23. Just converted my g23 to a 9mm with ported barrel extension (nice!!). Never had a problem with either, both shoot flawless. To me, the Sig & Glock are like two sexy a** reliable ladies you just can not have one without the other.

  • I agree with you 100% on the availability of parts and ease of repair being a huge selling point for glock. There's not a whole lot of things you can screw up on your glock that you can't fix yourself for under 30 bucks.

  • The only stovepipes I've seen out of my G17 were attributed to using a cheap promag magazine. If you're using a glock, don't take their high quality magazines for granted.

  • how can you say they are both 100% then say youve had stove pipes that ='s not 100%

  • @cickinit because the stovepipe was mag related. I was using old ban-era used police mags.

  • @cickinit I think he means the gun is 100% because the "stovepipe" was likely attributed to the weakly loaded BLAZER ammo. My experience too. Quality pistols of European origin(Swiss,Austrian,German...etc.) always work best with hot NATO 124 Ball ammo. Geco,RWS and the Winchester "Ranger" NATO loads have all been totally reliable for me. Light loaded 115s often don't cycle sharply enough.

  • @craigdamage Bingo.. thank you. Thats exactly what I meant.

  • @turboMATRIX03 you're wrong the nypd carries the glock 19. Do some research before you open you're mouth.

  • @NIKON777 I believe that they have a choice between the glock and the sig. personal preference.

  • Love the Sig but have a Glock 23 that I love too

  • @BALROGG111 Yeah I looked at a P30 today. Beautiful gun. Damn the price hurts though lol.

  • @BALROGG111 That's because its a duty gun. Hence why Police and military use it. For civilians, the 19 outsells the 17 many times over. We are talking about concealed carry here, not a duty weapon.

By the way the New York City Police Department is the largest PD in the country, guess what they use... Glock 19.

  • @NIKON777 nypd carry glock17 not 19

  • @turboMATRIX03 Carry G17s. G19s, and G26s.

  • @BALROGG111 Better for who? How so? many people actually shoot the 19 better than the 17. myself included. If we are talking concealed carry, the 19 wins hands down.

  • @BALROGG111 They're essentially the same gun. I have both. Your comment makes no sense.

  • I prefer the metal Sigs, they just feel a lot better to me and they're a proven platform with tons of accessories and support available.

Can't deny that the 2022 is an amazing value though. Sig quality for about 500 dollars.

  • 2 completely different firearm platforms. Different battery of arms and FGC. I would highly recommend shooting both before you chose which weapon you want.

  • i love how people blame everything but the glock when a problem exists, but for everything else its the gun and never anything else

  • The price point on that Sig is hard to beat though. 460-480 at the stores in my area.

  • I agree with your view. I prefer Sig over Glock as far as performance and ergonomics. The Glock has much more after market services available and magazines are interchangeable with Glocks of same caliber, but different capacity. I wish Sig followed this format with their guns.

  • can i get a extension mag for sp2022?

  • Do u know if the 228 mag will fit the 2022 , they look identical, Its a lot easier to find the 228 or 229 mags

  • @150pickup check out topgunsupply they have all stock 2022 mags 15rd and 10rd

  • I use the blazer brass ammo all the time in my glock 19. Never jambed....

  • XDM 9'mm 3.8" is the best no problems 3000 rounds fired

  • Great video!! Very helpful! :)

  • Holy shit Nikon777, you came through so clutch! I was looking for a video that compared these two guns. I'm in the market for either one and needed some opinions. Thanks man! Great video.

  • @vbp6us Thanks a lot man, either will serve you well!

  • whats the easiest way to conceal the glock 19?

  • My sig can't jam

  • Why are you out of breath!!

  • @mkelias11 homo!

  • @NIKON777 he was just asking why you sounded kinda winded

  • i dont understand why people get so upset when other people dont like their guns. i have a diehard 1911 friend who trash talks my 19 every time we're at the range. he thinks that unless its all steel and is .45 acp, then it'll break. the great thing is, his kimber has jammed 3 times, my glock; 0. so like the saying goes: you show your friends a kimber, you show your enemies a glock :) but anywho, if you dont like glock thats fine, if you dont like 1911, thats fine, if all you like is hi-point...

  • i bought a sig pro 2340 several years ago and soon as i bougth after 2 or 3 clips it jammed however my gun dealer was shocked that this happened and sent it back to sig for me but once i got it back it was somewhat customed the port was polished and a cuple other things no problems since thanx for ur unbiased opinion

  • @gaman10 Thanks a lot for watching. Glad it worked out for you after the fix. They tend to be very reliable guns as a whole.

  • nikon 777 nice review thanx for ur unbiased opinion sig owner here nice video

  • Good review... A gun store here in socal has them on sale for $399. What are your thoughts?

  • @Vicb1 Id buy it at that price no question.

  • limpwristing is the only thing i dont like bout the glocks...not just me but for my girl's safety too...if something happend and my hands or hers got a little injured (not from a gun fight, maybe from a car accident, etc) dont want to worry that my weak wrist is gonna get me killed...i dunno..maybe i just worry to much

  • Good review. Thanks.

  • @jumbosilverette glad you enjoyed it Jumbo.

  • you do know springfield isnt a glock right?

  • @chrisintegra02 Im not sure I follow you? what do you mean?

  • yeah glocks are much more sensative to limpwristing which will lead to jams, especially the new Glock17 longs the barrel is so long & its only a 9mm & the slide moves so much that the slightest limpwrist will cause q failure to feed

  • OK can sumone tell me what the difference is between the SIG & the SIGPRO models?

  • Good video, Thanks.

  • Hey Nikon, sweet guns. I own the 19 but I'm lookin into the Sig 226, prob get it here soon. Did have a question. You said that the 2022 is more accurate? What do you mean? Isn't a gun as accurate as the shooter?

  • I love the MUTE button.

  • Can the sig sp2022 9mm hold a 33 rd magazine like the glock 19 can? If not what's the maximum rds a sig sp2022 can hold?

  • @askain111 no they dont make 33 rounders for it.

  • lol learn to breathe.

  • @LittleCpKidAustin I was nervous, thats how I get. This was like my 2 or 3rd video ever.

  • boooooooooshit...the XD is a better gun!!

  • @elmayimbejrs lol, theyre ok.

  • You know whcih one is better? The one you like the most.

  • The Sig is the better gun, the GLOCK has the better mags.

  • I've shot blazer aluminum, brown bear steel and all kinds of brass with my sig pro and it shoots all just fine

  • nice pistols

  • @blackHawkMW92 Thanks BH

  • I shot the 2022, its a fun gun.

  • whadda 'bout accuracy??>

  • @breadloaf1 Id give a slight advantage to the Sig.

  • You posted this to talk? Waste of time. Accuracy... shoot...

  • @asoul576 who is your comment directed to?

  • Nice Video. I own the glock 19 and have fired probably around 2000-2500 rounds through it without a single... well ok 1 problem (winchester factory squib load) but it still wasn't the guns fault. I owned a XD45 compact and it was reliable but it just felt bad in my hand. I hear the XDm's are very nice though. I prefer the glocks grip angle.

  • why the hell do you have a gun your a loonatic

  • @TheDeandre469. I'm sorry who are you referring to?

  • the sig will always beat glock now that i think about they beat everything

  • I own both, I have small hands so the glock fits alittle better. Havent had any problems with my sig but the glock has jammed afew times on me. The sig looks way better in my opinion

  • @911mykidsdead My experience is very similar. 2 jams on the Glock, no jams with the Sig. Thanks for posting, check out my other vids.

  • i have an xd-9, glock 19, and the sig pro 2022 9mm. they are all great guns. i prefer the sig because its double action and the decocker is a great feature.

  • Nikkon 777, what you think about the new p220 elite frame its made out alloy and I think most of sig new pistols are made out of alloy instead of stainless steel. What I want to know that how good is the reliability is of Alloy and Aluminum vs steel please answer before I spend $1200 on that new peace. Thanks

  • @ikonik69 the alloy frames seem to hold up very well, they still can crack though. but its rare...

  • have you ever owned or fired the XD9 ? I have the g19 and have fired a number of sigs. have a glock 45 compact and the XD45 holds its own against either.

most people that are gun elitist will poo on the XD just because they think glock and sig are the end all

  • I have both Glocks (two 17's and a 26)and Sigs(P225 and SP2022. The Glock would be a little more comfortable to carry concealed because the Sig is a little more bulky. Eiteher way, both are fine weapons and the accuracey of the SP2022 is unbelievable! The recoil is barely felt with this weapon.

  • The 2022 is a very soft shooter, I agree. Great weapon for people who are recoil sensitive.

  • I saw a Sig Pro 2022 at my local gun shop for $499. Is that a good price?

  • whats the difference between 2022 and the p228?

  • I have the SP-2022. It is excellent. And yes you can save a few dollars, because it is a polymer frame. It has a great trigger and is really accurate. I was able to buy this and a .22 plinker for less than the p228.

  • I also CCW both weapons. No problem carrying the SIG in a Galco Summer IWB. Prefer the 2022 for the decocker and SA/DA functions. btw, The 2022 has been discontinued by SIG.

  • wonder why sigs are the best imo

  • I have a 9mm and I love it

  • I like the 2022 but in .40 S&W. Love mine.

  • For me, I'm more accurate with a Sig, well constucted, and they look prettier, LOL. At Knob Creek machine gun shoot last year, I fired about 500 rounds of FMJ through my Glock 19 in less than 2 hours, the frame was flaming HOT, it ate every round without a hiccup!

  • You said you CCW the Sig. I usually carry and XD Subcompact or a kahr pm9. Where and how do you carry the sig? I'd like to put it in rotation, but i don't know the best way to carry it. I'm medium build 180lbs 5'10". any suggestions?

  • @jonj5466 I carry it in a uncle mikes iwb holster. Not many people make holsters for that model.

  • @jonj5466 YEA DONT GET IT

  • 2022 grip is perfect,

  • @boostimalaka1 now you'll be deleted because you lack maturity. It's no secret glock undercuts the other manufacturers at prices they won't match. Glock practically gives the guns away to

    Law enforcement.

  • Sig is a piece of crap. By the way i was fired from P228, P226, SP2022 with different Ammunition and..... too much malfunction. Glock never fail. In Glock we trust. Amen!!!

  • @rokopai The Sig has never jammed, the Glock has jammed twice.

  • That has to be the voice of Brian... Is that you? GLOCK 19 all the way! 19C if you don't mind the extra noise and like to shoot really fast.

  • @RugburnVLD180. Who is Brian???

  • which would be the better one for a person with small hands?
