The sectarian war was started by America destabilizing Iraq. There would be no Sunni or Shia insurgents without the American invasion and occupation! Two comments:

1> The Marine Sgt is obligated to obey only "legal" orders. They can not order him to kill prisoners or to deliberately kill civilians not threatening him or his men.

2> The one person he referred to who was on inactive status and demonstrated against the war in Iraq, was given a general discharge because he demonstrated and gave speeches while in uniform which is against the UCMJ which he even states he was aware of.

okay I dont care about all the arab/american issues. however, he said at some point that people didn't speak loud enough when US was going into Iraq if they did. is this guy really serious? or is he just defending himself without being rational? there were massive protests everywhere in the country. Even in LA, where there never was a serious protest, millions came out to stop this war.
