It was the same small government that the founders set up that was taking over easily by the banks and CEO's. If we make the government transparent and have well regulations along with corporation between labor and management and the consumer that will create Neo-Capitalism that would encourage competition.
All taking away the Fed will do is give power to the super rich, who will easy go with the banks

My professor in Macroeconomics said (I paraphrase,) "In economics you could take the same facts as someone else and come up with the opposite conclusion, and both of you could be technically correct."
So it's hard to tell whether one economic theorist is better than another. But when one happens to be right about a particular financial meltdown the others didn't see coming...
