@MaineShag55@MaineShag55 hello!, BigCat RESCUE!!! They save these big cats from stupid owners who think they can have them or take care of them and cant. This place saves them, I love this place from what i see on videos and want to go see it for myself. And they dont breed them either they are against that there. I dont kow if your talking about them or other people, just sayin not yelling.
"I don't know if your talking about them or other people, just sayin not yelling." @ALoveForOrcas : Have 3 purebred Cats & have had up to 6, FWIW. They're domestic Cats, however. Almost to a person, one has to sign a contract or you're V Unlikely to get one at all from a reputable Breeder. One of the conditions is NO De-Clawing ! Granted Big Cats can Never be returned to the Wild but D/N agree that they should be De-Fanged or De-clawed just because someone fears getting Bitten or Clawed UP !
Wow I didn't know that people could have pet tigers! That's wild! How does that work, do you need a special license or something and then you can just have it roam around your property like a dog?
@CMO999 - completly illegal in the U.S. unless you have a permit, I love them and do want to own one and they look cuddly and harmless in all reality, their not house cats, They are killers or can be. These tigers must have been hand raised. They cost thousands of dollars and could end upwards of a couple hundred thousand dollars for food, there's food, vet bills, housing, enrichment ect. you have to make sure you can care for it, trust me i want a snow leopard but i cant afford it.
@ALoveForOrcas Plus it would be quite the guard.. nobody would dare mess with that thing! I wonder who this guy is that made this video? He must be some ultra-wealthy eccentric to have such a pet.
@CMO999 - look if you already know and are just messing with me haha this a rescue place, they are many of big cats here including leopards, jaguars ect its a sanctuary not a single person but like a zoo but a sanctuary the last guy on the news it was only him and his wife with lions and tigers and more he commited suicide and couldnt take it anymore and let the animals loose and they had to be killed, its not fair to the animals its stupid people like him that make species endangered.
@ALoveForOrcas No I didn't know about that, I've never heard of it before. Thanks for explaining. That's aweful! And that's this place where the video was taken? I'll have to read more about it.
@CMO999 - no this was some guy with literally 20 different big cats in his backyard in steel cages, this place which is all about the channel is like a heaven for these big cats its a different place look at their other video's you will see, i want a big cat just as bad as you but i want a snow leopard :D
@Rei0zero It's a LIGER, a mix between a Male Lion and a female Tiger...They can grow up like any other mammal on earth....But their temper is very very mild...They are like gentle giants when they are adults...Because in the mix, for some strange reason the wild instincts of the lion and of the tiger go down...
Absolutely stupid. Do you realize these Tigers are wild animals? they have natural instincts and one day that Tiger WILL kill someone or seriously injure that dog/people.
You are very very selfish , you think only of what you want and not what that Tiger needs. That animal needs to be in a sanctuary with room for him to run around and maybe released into the wild
If all captive tigers killed people, then you'd be hearing about tiger maulings in the newspaper everyday. Also, sometimes dogs will kill pet cats they have grown up with. Should people not be allowed to own both a cat and a dog because something bad can possibly happen? I also find it funny that you call the owner selfish, when you would rather the tiger be released into the wild to die because it hurts your feelings to see it in captivity.
@ElleCM2 Thank goodness you are here to be the moral arbitrator of everything! Since you know more about the animals in this video than the people who live with them do your wisdom here is very useful! (I'm being sarcastic. That should be obvious but you never know with someone like you)

The fact that the so-called 'pet owners' have the best safety record should say something about how well this works. Tigers and cougars are actually terrific loving pets if raised properly from a cub. Although most people do not have the money, location, resources, education, experience, and understanding of what it takes to own an exotic animal as a pet. People who don't have an in depth understanding of animals should not be so quick to criticize that which they know nothing about.
Couple of generations of captivity vs MILLIONS of years of instinct and you think you can domesticate the animal or breed the wild out of the tiger? Are you serious?
@masterchiefb11 depends where you live, I think, for the us, in some states, you need a 20000$ zoo permit to have a tiger or something like that, someone correct me please
@fluffypopje correct , US states/counties/cities have different types of permits/requirements to keep the exotics, some have bans on non commercial ownership

they just play..the tiger is just careful to not hurt his friend cause his teeth is too stong and he can kill the dog playing.i do not think he is really afraid of the dog.
@UchihaUzumaki12 Yeah, especially when the tiger 'reverts' and eats poor fido. NOTHING will save that poor dog. People that think that big cats can be trusted are gifted (they have an extra chromosome). Tigers have the highest rate of 'turning' than any other big cat. In comparison a lion is as docile as a lamb. I love big cats, but would never ever enter a cage with a tiger. It is just delayed suicide.
@softcellelectrical A professional trainer will tell you differently. Lions are very challenging to work with because they 'test' you (but lions will also bond deeply with you). Most trainers would much rather work with tigers. Most of their challenge comes from their desire to play. The really dangerous cats are leopards and jaguars. They will turn on you with little warning. Even so, I have seen some incredible work done with leopards, by trainers who have a good feeling for those cats.
Indian tigers aren't immune to diseases found in america either (or wherever you're from), but it doesn't stop people like you forcing them to live there
@belljarvision what are you saying, please educate yourself, American tigers have been removed MANY generations from the wild, I can not think of a single case in recent history where wild caught tiger was imported into USA for private sector.American tigers were born in USA and have no clue what wild is, America is our tigers' home, that is all they know.
@belljarvision WHAT is still going on, what about Wild Animal Orphanage? i do noy understand your comment and what are you trying to say, you are not beign very clear
@belljarvision The only people that have imported tigers into the US in the last three decades is the big research zoos. It takes serious dollars and political connections to import big cats now, even non-endangered lions. Big cats suffer from the same ailments as domestic cats, and are generally healthy. And don't believe anything you heard from Wild Animal Orphanage. Basically, they lied about just about anything to try and force their will on everyone else. And look where it got them!
i really hope the tiger jumps the fuck out of that dog followed by jumping you just so you can learn what it means to steal his freedom and deny him of his natural way of livig
@SInnerMario I'm with you there. It makes me sick how many likes this video has got, and how many likes there are on comments supporting this supposed 'sanctuary'.
"We have enslaved the rest of the animal creation, and have treated our distant cousins in fur and feathers so badly that beyond doubt, if they were able to formulate a religion, they would depict the Devil in human form" William Ralph Inge
@BigCatHaven Disagree. We don't have to prevent suffering through more suffering. Humans are to blame for both poaching and deforestation, we should be doing more to prevent that rather than domesticating wild animals. What happens when they're put back into the wild and poaching and deforestation is still going on, or do you suggest caging domesticated tigers for life... I don't think society as a whole will ever grow a conscience.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
the tiger is locked up in a cage when there is no supervision? No matter how healthy s/he looks in this clip it is not right for a wild animal to be kept away from his freedom like that. Tigers are not pets. I'm sure the tiger would have been SO much happier if he was kept in his natural surroundings. Obviously it is far too late for him to be put back in the wild now, but I wish organisations and people would stop harbor wild animals in domestic areas for their own pleasure.
@belljarvision This tiger was born in captivity and is many generations removed from the wild, it has no clue what wild is and can not miss it, the same way we can not miss Moon if we have never visted there. Wild is a dangerous, deadly place for tigers. And yes, it's responsible thing to do to keep the tiger in a proper caging when not supervised, what are we suppsoed to do, let it roam at local kinder garden school?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@BigCatHaven "WILD IS A DANGEROUS DEADLY PLACE FOR TIGERS" - really? you're really saying this? so wrong in so many ways. I'm not saying you should let the poor creature roam around with humans, that's unnatural as well, you've kept him in such a sad environment that he now HAS to be locked up without supervision, you've taken away his freedom. What you're supposed to do is free the next generation of imprisoned wild life, instead of stealing them for society's perverted pleasure.
@belljarvision We appreciate your input, but let’s just agree to disagree. The subject of wild conservation is too big and complicated to discuss here. Those of you enjoying the video, hope we will film more, and there are more cute videos already on our BigCatHaven and RexanoExotics YT channels.
@belljarvision Are you stupid? The wild IS dangerous for the tiger because it's never been in that environment (it's not a domesticated animal but it's no longer a wild one, it doesn't have the instincts) and the reason these animals aren't extinct is because of people taking them from the wild and breeding them. If they didn't these animals would have have been gone long from poachers.
@lmfpmj2 Are you so stupid that you can't read my comments? I stated that it's too late to give this tiger his freedom back, but the right thing to do IS to set the next generation of tigers (if they have pups) free into their natural habitat. Also your last comment is bs, I'll repeat what I said: these tigers have been domesticated for society's perverted pleasure. I have nothing against the protection of wild life from poachers if they are kept in their natural surroundings, this is just cruel
@belljarvision We will repeat, wild is dangerous. Number 1 threat for wild tigers is loss and fragmentation of their wild habitat, to translate, wild tiger habitat is shrinking, the problem is not that wild tigers refuse to breed babies, the problem is there is not enough 'wild real estate' for them. Also please no rude comments or attacks against people who don't share your viewpoint. Thanks.
@BigCatHaven I know this, and the answer is NOT to take tigers out of the wild in order to domesticate them and post 'cute' videos to youtube. The answer is to STOP DEFORESTATION and poaching, and to do this work IN THE TIGER'S NATURAL HABITAT, ie tagging tigers to track them rather than locking them up. Also, lmfpmj2 was the one causing the agro if you read properly.
@belljarvisionHow exactly do you want to stop poaching and deforestation overnight in a poor overpopulated country? I want solution/answer that will work in real life, I want to cure cancer, but I sure don’t have a cure, so screaming ”I want the cancer cure” will do nothing good for cancer patients unless I have a real life working solution. About 2/3 of tigers are poisoned by poor villagers who don’t want to live near deadly predators, and they never use the tiger for body parts
@BigCatHaven well actually if you visit the wwf site.. the wwf do so much to protect tigers IN THE WILD they hit targets on multiplying the amount of tigers IN THE WILD. That is how conservation should be done. They visit these villages teaching tiger awareness and stopping the slaughter. I'm not trying to be an 'internet activist', I do petition for animal rights irl, but after watching i obviously HAD to comment.
@belljarvision WWF is not saving tigers in real life, despite the WWF having multimillions of dollars in their bank accounts, the tigers' numbers are on a steep decline, WWF is getting rich, while tigers are going extinct, WWF approach is failing wild tigers MISERABLY. WWF approach to conservation is flawed, sicken they are not delivering the results, unless you consider tigers' numbers dwindling to be a success?
@belljarvision Imagine living in India and wild tiger killed your parenst and pets. Then WWF comes and teaches you 'tiger awarenes"...how much woudl it really work? Would you feed rest of your family and animals to wild tigers to 'save them' because that is what Western civilization wants, or would you too hate wild tigers and allmighty Westerners trying to dictate you their 'superior/western' way of life?
@BigCatHaven Well it's not only 'westerners' who are activists in the tiger awareness schemes, a lot of locals are involved, and stop generalising other cultures. The WWF have helped in the only morally feasible way. Locking tigers in cages and taking them out of their natural habitat is not right!!!! Please back up your points with proof... And please please see sense, how can you think giving a tiger such a life is right. Thanks for not deleting any comments anyway.
@belljarvision we can not post links in comments, so google REXANO and WWF to get the link with info. Also check out the book 'Conservation refugees'. I would rather see tigers saved in captivity than extinct in the wild and not have any live ones in captivity.Look at pandas, gone in the wild and barely hanging on in captivity, almost extinct in captivity too, do you want tigers to be like pandas, gone as live individuals?Wild tigers kill hundreds humans per year, local 'locals' do not like it
@belljarvision Unless you solve the human world poverty, especially in India, you can not save the wild tiger habitat, as habitat loss and fragmentation are number 1 long term threat to wild tiger survival. The issue is not as easy as becoming couch potato Internet activist, repeating slogans.
@lmfpmj2 Actually it still has it's instincts. It just doesn't know what is what in a jungle and therefore its instincts can;t kick in as quickly and effectively. But they are there.
@BigCatHaven oo thats wat i was wondering. i alwasy feel pets that arent normally pets have a chance of goin primal and tearin stuff up, like tigers.. but that tigers so cute hes like a big pussy. i like how he bounds around hahaha
@cheeseonfire2 go to our RexanoExotics channel and search for lazy Lion videos, especially big lion's Bam Bamhis 5th-B-day, balloon survives, Valentine day frenzy, and Lion vs. Santa's reindeer, all is good, our canines are so mcuh more destructive than our felines
@rooneylives Wild is a dangerosu place for wild tigers who are being poached or poisoned by locals, who do not wish to live near a top deadly predator. Wild would be even more dangerous to a captive born US tiger, who has no clue how to hunt, and is not immune to the diseases found in the wilds of Asia.
@agenturge Actually the tiger has 4 dogs as buddies, but only 2 are her regualr buddies, we will hopefully upload the 4 dog video soon. Fuzzy Bear in this video is tiger's top dog, but see our video Tiger vs. dog pack, there is Shady lady there too.
@BigCatHaven I think I saw one of your other videos of them playing a few months back. Pretty awesome. Reminds me of the elephant and the dog in a Tennessee sanctuary who are like soul-mates. Then the dog was out of commission after back surgery and the elephant literally stayed by the house for weeks waiting for the dog to come out. Touching story. Like I said...if THEY can make it happen...people should be able to as well.
@agenturge we saw that video on TV, longer version than some YT videos. It was interesting, the sanctuary owner started her sanctuary with her own pet elephant, because she assumed her pet wanted to be with other elephants. Well her pet elephant did NOT want to be with other elephant, it made friends with a dog and ignored her own kind, and this pet elephant had a choice of which species her buddy would be.
"The tiger and dog have been raised together since they were nine weeks old, they have become inseparable friends. They play together all the time and neither one of them has ever been injured."..... Yet....
@ncstatepack Realistic outlook on life, so many here worry about tiger when in reality there are more likely to get killed in car accident. All Captive tigers in USA kill 0.7 person per year, mostly owners/trainers, aka occupational/hobby hazard, NOT public safety issue, but car accidents kill 45,000 huamns per year in USA.
@Theoffspring875 this is in the rural area with chainlink fence with barb and electric wires , really, to be honest, to prevent stupid whiny humans to come here and harass the animals:-)
@laxfan727 the tiger is just one of our securely contaned big cats, go to RexanoExotics channel and search for :Chain Link Fence Construction for Big Cats
The tiger is really not much larger than the dog. It wouldn't be a fair contest, but the tiger would probably not come out unscathed.
And I don't want to hear any cat faggotry idolatry telling me about how the tiger has a higher critical hit rating or more armor vs. fuzz. Anyone whose mind went there first needs to get to the business of killing themselves so there is more air left for sane people.
@DownOnMyLuck Actually, none of that came to mind first and I STILL think that in a serious fight... that dog would be scared stupid and running for it's life - if it could.
@FameNoChoice There is also the fact that when playing with my pet cat and he takes a swipe at my face I get a scratch, vs playing with a pet tiger and he does the same thing and takes your face off.
@FameNoChoice Some sanctuaries are bad animal prisons, there is good and bad in everything, good and bad pet owners, zoos, sanctuaries.Sanctuary is just a label:it is run by humans, who easily get corrupted by monetary donations. Many lie and make up abuse stories to get money for the animals they actually bought or bred themselves. Be a smart donor, research before donating to scamtuaries There is fraud in animal and non animal charities.
@FameNoChoice Would you be willing to have your life under that much scrutiny, comrade? There are animal cruelty laws already, to prosecute those who abuse animals. Neither the animals or their owners benefit from micromanagement. And animal husbandry is far from being an exact science.
@FameNoChoice I take good care of my animals. I don't need some bureaucrat watching me and telling me how to care for my animals. Russia was a very safe place under Stalin, but there was on freedom, either. And yes, animal abuse happens, and sometimes it can go for years (or something that isn't abuse will be construed as abuse by those same folks who want to micromanage you. PETA is particularly good at this!) But everyone I know with big cats takes good care of them.
I love that cinnamon color on the tiger :D

@softcellelectrical A professional trainer will tell you differently. Lions are very challenging to work with because they 'test' you (but lions will also bond deeply with you). Most trainers would much rather work with tigers. Most of their challenge comes from their desire to play. The really dangerous cats are leopards and jaguars. They will turn on you with little warning. Even so, I have seen some incredible work done with leopards, by trainers who have a good feeling for those cats.

Indian tigers aren't immune to diseases found in america either (or wherever you're from), but it doesn't stop people like you forcing them to live there
belljarvision 5 months ago
@belljarvision what are you saying, please educate yourself, American tigers have been removed MANY generations from the wild, I can not think of a single case in recent history where wild caught tiger was imported into USA for private sector.American tigers were born in USA and have no clue what wild is, America is our tigers' home, that is all they know.
BigCatHaven 5 months ago 13
@BigCatHaven This is still going on, the Wild Animal Orphanage in San Antonio is the first example through minimal research.
belljarvision 5 months ago
@belljarvision WHAT is still going on, what about Wild Animal Orphanage? i do noy understand your comment and what are you trying to say, you are not beign very clear
BigCatHaven 5 months ago
@belljarvision The only people that have imported tigers into the US in the last three decades is the big research zoos. It takes serious dollars and political connections to import big cats now, even non-endangered lions. Big cats suffer from the same ailments as domestic cats, and are generally healthy. And don't believe anything you heard from Wild Animal Orphanage. Basically, they lied about just about anything to try and force their will on everyone else. And look where it got them!

@Mrbufano20 lols cool story bro
I don't think society as a whole will ever grow a conscience.

the tiger is locked up in a cage when there is no supervision? No matter how healthy s/he looks in this clip it is not right for a wild animal to be kept away from his freedom like that. Tigers are not pets. I'm sure the tiger would have been SO much happier if he was kept in his natural surroundings. Obviously it is far too late for him to be put back in the wild now, but I wish organisations and people would stop harbor wild animals in domestic areas for their own pleasure.
belljarvision 5 months ago
@belljarvision This tiger was born in captivity and is many generations removed from the wild, it has no clue what wild is and can not miss it, the same way we can not miss Moon if we have never visted there. Wild is a dangerous, deadly place for tigers. And yes, it's responsible thing to do to keep the tiger in a proper caging when not supervised, what are we suppsoed to do, let it roam at local kinder garden school?
BigCatHaven 5 months ago 20
This comment has received too many negative votes show
@BigCatHaven "WILD IS A DANGEROUS DEADLY PLACE FOR TIGERS" - really? you're really saying this? so wrong in so many ways. I'm not saying you should let the poor creature roam around with humans, that's unnatural as well, you've kept him in such a sad environment that he now HAS to be locked up without supervision, you've taken away his freedom. What you're supposed to do is free the next generation of imprisoned wild life, instead of stealing them for society's perverted pleasure.
belljarvision 5 months ago
@belljarvision We appreciate your input, but let’s just agree to disagree. The subject of wild conservation is too big and complicated to discuss here. Those of you enjoying the video, hope we will film more, and there are more cute videos already on our BigCatHaven and RexanoExotics YT channels.
BigCatHaven 5 months ago 2
@belljarvision Are you stupid? The wild IS dangerous for the tiger because it's never been in that environment (it's not a domesticated animal but it's no longer a wild one, it doesn't have the instincts) and the reason these animals aren't extinct is because of people taking them from the wild and breeding them. If they didn't these animals would have have been gone long from poachers.
lmfpmj2 5 months ago 15
@lmfpmj2 Are you so stupid that you can't read my comments? I stated that it's too late to give this tiger his freedom back, but the right thing to do IS to set the next generation of tigers (if they have pups) free into their natural habitat. Also your last comment is bs, I'll repeat what I said: these tigers have been domesticated for society's perverted pleasure. I have nothing against the protection of wild life from poachers if they are kept in their natural surroundings, this is just cruel
belljarvision 5 months ago
@belljarvision We will repeat, wild is dangerous. Number 1 threat for wild tigers is loss and fragmentation of their wild habitat, to translate, wild tiger habitat is shrinking, the problem is not that wild tigers refuse to breed babies, the problem is there is not enough 'wild real estate' for them. Also please no rude comments or attacks against people who don't share your viewpoint. Thanks.
BigCatHaven 5 months ago
@BigCatHaven I know this, and the answer is NOT to take tigers out of the wild in order to domesticate them and post 'cute' videos to youtube. The answer is to STOP DEFORESTATION and poaching, and to do this work IN THE TIGER'S NATURAL HABITAT, ie tagging tigers to track them rather than locking them up. Also, lmfpmj2 was the one causing the agro if you read properly.
belljarvision 5 months ago
@belljarvisionHow exactly do you want to stop poaching and deforestation overnight in a poor overpopulated country? I want solution/answer that will work in real life, I want to cure cancer, but I sure don’t have a cure, so screaming ”I want the cancer cure” will do nothing good for cancer patients unless I have a real life working solution. About 2/3 of tigers are poisoned by poor villagers who don’t want to live near deadly predators, and they never use the tiger for body parts
BigCatHaven 5 months ago
@BigCatHaven well actually if you visit the wwf site.. the wwf do so much to protect tigers IN THE WILD they hit targets on multiplying the amount of tigers IN THE WILD. That is how conservation should be done. They visit these villages teaching tiger awareness and stopping the slaughter. I'm not trying to be an 'internet activist', I do petition for animal rights irl, but after watching i obviously HAD to comment.
belljarvision 5 months ago
@belljarvision WWF is not saving tigers in real life, despite the WWF having multimillions of dollars in their bank accounts, the tigers' numbers are on a steep decline, WWF is getting rich, while tigers are going extinct, WWF approach is failing wild tigers MISERABLY. WWF approach to conservation is flawed, sicken they are not delivering the results, unless you consider tigers' numbers dwindling to be a success?
BigCatHaven 5 months ago
@belljarvision Imagine living in India and wild tiger killed your parenst and pets. Then WWF comes and teaches you 'tiger awarenes"...how much woudl it really work? Would you feed rest of your family and animals to wild tigers to 'save them' because that is what Western civilization wants, or would you too hate wild tigers and allmighty Westerners trying to dictate you their 'superior/western' way of life?
BigCatHaven 5 months ago 2
@BigCatHaven Well it's not only 'westerners' who are activists in the tiger awareness schemes, a lot of locals are involved, and stop generalising other cultures. The WWF have helped in the only morally feasible way. Locking tigers in cages and taking them out of their natural habitat is not right!!!! Please back up your points with proof... And please please see sense, how can you think giving a tiger such a life is right. Thanks for not deleting any comments anyway.
belljarvision 5 months ago
@belljarvision we can not post links in comments, so google REXANO and WWF to get the link with info. Also check out the book 'Conservation refugees'. I would rather see tigers saved in captivity than extinct in the wild and not have any live ones in captivity.Look at pandas, gone in the wild and barely hanging on in captivity, almost extinct in captivity too, do you want tigers to be like pandas, gone as live individuals?Wild tigers kill hundreds humans per year, local 'locals' do not like it
BigCatHaven 5 months ago
@belljarvision Unless you solve the human world poverty, especially in India, you can not save the wild tiger habitat, as habitat loss and fragmentation are number 1 long term threat to wild tiger survival. The issue is not as easy as becoming couch potato Internet activist, repeating slogans.
BigCatHaven 5 months ago
@lmfpmj2 Actually it still has it's instincts. It just doesn't know what is what in a jungle and therefore its instincts can;t kick in as quickly and effectively. But they are there.

@BigCatHaven The wild is a dangerous place for tigers? are you being serious?
rooneylives 5 months ago 2
@rooneylives Wild is a dangerosu place for wild tigers who are being poached or poisoned by locals, who do not wish to live near a top deadly predator. Wild would be even more dangerous to a captive born US tiger, who has no clue how to hunt, and is not immune to the diseases found in the wilds of Asia.

BigCatHaven 5 months ago
@BigCatHaven I think I saw one of your other videos of them playing a few months back. Pretty awesome. Reminds me of the elephant and the dog in a Tennessee sanctuary who are like soul-mates. Then the dog was out of commission after back surgery and the elephant literally stayed by the house for weeks waiting for the dog to come out. Touching story. Like I said...if THEY can make it happen...people should be able to as well.
agenturge 5 months ago
@agenturge we saw that video on TV, longer version than some YT videos. It was interesting, the sanctuary owner started her sanctuary with her own pet elephant, because she assumed her pet wanted to be with other elephants. Well her pet elephant did NOT want to be with other elephant, it made friends with a dog and ignored her own kind, and this pet elephant had a choice of which species her buddy would be.
BigCatHaven 5 months ago
@BigCatHaven i agree, the only sanctuary is the wild.

All Captive tigers in USA kill 0.7 person per year, mostly owners/trainers, aka occupational/hobby hazard, NOT public safety issue, but car accidents kill 45,000 huamns per year in USA.
