This sounds so horrible to me. I've never listened to the band covering it until now though. This just takes everything like able out of the song and replaces it with Maroon 5 esque pussery. I feel the need to go smoke a cigarette and break something to get the masculinity that just got sucked from a great song back. Also the auto tune sounds overly contrived.

it's pretty catchy in a poppy way. i like it, perhaps not such a fan of the autotune but it works in a way. Reminds me of Phoenix who are amazing.

This song i not as good as the original.. However! The Morning Benders are not trying to be better than Strokes. They are trying to capture their own understanding of this song. - I love it!

@Johnnyphamous it's intriguing. thats how music is supposed to be approached. makes you want to keep listening. make you try to anticipate whats coming next. more or less autotune? who knows. i think it was appropriate for this track because it isn't guitar oriented. They made it a pop song.
