@nadaa246 thanks! that's so great to hear! keep at it, and make sure you practice the boring stuff too (scales, proper technique, ect). that's what makes you better at/able to do the really crazy fun stuff later down the line! I wish I did more of that stuff earlier

good ear man! actually it is a fender amp with fuzz. a blues junior NOS with a fulltone octafuzz on the fuzz setting. also there was a fulltone wah before the fuzz.

I had a barber compressor too, but I'm 90% sure it was off the whole time. and if it was on, I always set the blend so low that it barely alters my tone, so it really wouldn't make a difference with fuzz (since fuzz gets compressed at high levels anyways)

@Riley650 considering I was using my computer's built in mic, I'm gonna assume that contributed to the problem, cause honestly they sounded great in person

Nice work can really here the Hendrix Inspiration in this including the Large vribrato and slide intro...your a good player. Better than all those players that just do record perfect covers without any soul and if you were to ask them hey could you play something other than those few songs, they'd be stumped. I do the same thing jam over a backing track of Key to the highway, haven't got a drummer...

Great playing tone! Good gob! The drums sound almost like you recorded them through a flanger?? At least on some of the cymbal crashes to my ears..
