This Guy Does not know what the hell he is talking about. i own two of these monitors for film editing. i also own two 23" apple cinema displays for the same reason. the acer's colours and brightness are equal to the apples. they are rich, have depth and blacks are not grey but deep. these are excellent led screens and are the first to rival the apple displays that i have used.
I agree, pretty biased. I love Samsung and I always will love Samsung, but they made a 23inch and not a 24inch. Once you calibrate the monitor the colors will be fine. It's like my Sony, 1080P laptop, one of the nicest screens on a laptop, and even then once calibrated the colors are like night and day.

Colors are shit to be blunt and texts inside games are often pixelized to the point you cant see what it says and thats when i play native 1920x1080. Also my screen is darker at the top and brighter at the bottom wich sucks that too. Also the sound doesnt work. Using the cable it came with from line out on computer to audio in on the monitor - no sound. Crap.
I just bought 1 of these monitors 27 inch model hope it's as good as wot you guys are saying this guy slates it

Go to your Pixel Format settings in Catalyst (nvidia should have similar option as well, (u gotta be connected via HDMI) Change it to FULL RGB.
You will be surprised with the quality of color change.
