This was years after I wrote Material Girl for Madonna inspired by George Harrison's album titled "Living in the Material World". Chad takes his stage name for Chad Channing formerly of Nirvana. I was discovered by Joe Elliott of Def Leppard at age 15 in 1983. 2 Ricks in Def Lep & there were 2 Ryans in Nickelback.
