The only people ignorant enough to accuse Israel of apartheid are those that have never BEEN to Israel. They haven't been there. They're regurgitating propaganda. Useless to even debate them!

Apartheid? I was just in the Jerusalem Mall, plenty of Arab staff & shoppers mingling with the Jews; last week I was i n a Jerusalem hospital watching an Arab Doctor treating a Jewish patient. You see that on buses, in education,even an Arab Supreme court Judge - If you think this is apartheid then you have no idea what happened in S. Africa!

Desmond Tutu, Nelson Mandella, Winnie Mandella, Ronold Kasrils, the South African Union of Students and the South African Student Congress have all called Israel's policies and actions toward the Palestinians as apartheid. On Aug 4th, South African students stated "We lived apartheid, we suffered apartheid, we know what apartheid is, we recognise apartheid when we see it. And when we see Israel, we see a regime that practices apartheid."

Mr. Ayalon's propaganda doesn't change that

I agree with Mr. Ayalon that Israel was not participating in educating the world as to the facts and to history. The world was being fed Palestininan propaganda. Thank you for entering into the international discussion that has so far been very one-sided.

@jbmishner this is the issue - The world is buying into the Palestinian narrative and we have to do a better job. not of responding to their lies (then they dictate the agenda) but rather telling the truth about day to day life in Israel which really makes nonsense like 'apartheid' sound as stupid as it is.
