Sure it is piece of propaganda. Jews conquered Arabia 1400 years ago, then imported their culture, and submitted people to Judaism. On the ruins of the holy kabaa built a synagogue and pretend it to be their holy site. They call their religion "religion of peace" while having dreams about killing all Muslims.

I can talk about all the good deeds that Arab rulers did to Jews that were their subjects in history. Those historic facts wouldn't nullify the fact that Jews as a religious minority were at mercy of the majority of their host countries. In some periods they were tolerated, in other they were prosecuted and killed and in most of the time humiliated and subject to contempt.

Arafat outright refused and only gave any offer at all once Sharon took office when he knew the chance was gone
