Another fun fact, Dave Mustaine, guitarist for Megadeth, was originally supposed to be Metallica's guitarist before he and James Hetfield got into a fued. Mustaine was fired from the band. Since Mustaine did help write many of the songs on Kill 'Em All, he is given credit on the album.

Regardless, both Metallica and Megadeth are two of my favorite metal bands.  \m/

It wasn't necessarily a Megadeth song. Dave Mustaine did write it, but he was originally the guitarist for Metallica until they fired him, then we went on to form Megadeth. Mustaine and Megadeth did release this song, Metallica did rename it, but they credited Mustaine for it on their album.

A fun fact for all you fellow Metallica nuts. Kill 'Em All's title was actually supposed to be "Metal Up Your Ass". An idea that Cliff had to get more attention and broaden thier underground fanbase. The band took that title to the producers and they said "absolutley not!" When Cliff found out about this his response, "You know what? We should just kill 'em. Kill 'Em All!" And the rest is history. Amen, Cliff, RIP.
