Oh well. I only worry about enough useful dps in raids. Which is when I use assassination spec. I do 3.2k in heroics most of the time without slice and dice. Which seems a lot more useful then a lot of the people barely doing 2k. :P

rogues can cloak the debuff that makes you take damage the damage the boss takes. also, i'd HIGHLY recommend the sword (Quel'Delar) from the "Battered Hilt" item that drops off a random mob in each of these heroics. It is i251, and by my personal comparison, it is better than the 258 relent weps (2200 rating). looks very cool, and there are 2 two-handers, one "rogue-style" 2.70 1h, and a caster sword. the quest takes you through all the instances (non-heroic if you want) and a few quests in dal.
