I bought a 28 inch Hannspree and was totally amazed with the picture quality-its so so vivid and clear...I watched an Asian wedding dvd and the colours were so bright and wow...its truly a tv to have esp the price...its a bargain! I've just purchased a 42 inch for my parents. My mother in law purchased a 60" Samsung Smart Plasma 1080p, I'm sorry to say HANDS DOWN, Hannspree is better!

I have the 32 inch version of this TV and I love it. It's very rare to find a TV with 4 X HDMI inputs and ever more rare to find a TV that has S-VIDEO inputs on it. Hannspree is awesome!

I took the vivid motion off and compared to the 40" sceptre tv it was good there was a bit of judder not too bad and very playable. Im very use to my old CRT tube tv and its not as instant but like I said way better then that other one. I later hooked it up to my blu ray player and I put that vivid motion 120hz on. WOW its mind blowing. the best way to put it is "meeting the actors". The sound on the tv is Good aswell. Also came with an HDMI cord.

First of Id like to say I purchased the 40" Sceptre 60hz tv and it was crap on xbox360 fps. Way to much motion blur. I did about a good week of research and decided to purchase this Hannspree 42" 120hz tv. I was a bit skeptical as of not knowing the brand.. Shipping took 9 long days. So first thing I did was hook it up to my xbox 360. I turned on the 120 vivid motion flow as i was playing mw3 and there was input lag meaning if i moved the controller it would do it a little later

Thank you for this review. I'm looking for more information about a similar model (sv42lmnb). I think it's the european version of your with 100hz (we have 50hz current). So I'm looking especially for the fluid motion of images that's why I'm choosing it... but some reviews on internet describe it not very well due to artfacts during pan and not too fast with image refresh due to 6,5ms. Your idea? Had you test other 100/120hz before?

Thanks for a good video review, I bought it yesterday and I am impressed with the picture quality and the design of it, One thing which turn me down is it does have a USB port but that is only to service it, you cannot play anything from USB on it, also I have a sony bravia tv which has wireless Internet built in into it which can connect to your wireless router or you can connect through Ethernet Cable. If Hanspree included the above 2 mentioned things in this TV that would be awsome

Thanks for doing this video. I had been looking at this tv on walmart's site for a few weeks now, and kept going back and forth on deciding to buy it or not. It's always hard to decide on something you've never seen before. Anyways, this video helped me make that choice and my tv should be delivered site 2 store between the 8th and 14th...I can't wait! =) Btw, they've got this tv for $419 right now (before taxes and warrenty of course).

@ranced I ordered it from wal mart Thursday, and am getting worried, a few people complain about DOA's and such like that, but looking on newegg reviews reassured me its a rare occurrence, have you gotten yours yet, I need some more reassurance. I bought this mainly for Xbox gaming and blue-ray.

@thismrx I received it earlier today and it's working great. After properly adjusting the picture settings, I get very good image quality. Blu rays and videogames look amazing on it.

It's a great purchase so far and I'll update in a month or so to see if it hold us. I'm guessing it will.

keep the tv for more then 6 monthes. because if it breaks. then its not quality.my Vizio tv was rated 4 half star but mine broke in 14 months. and I gave Vizio 500 dollars. Be careful when setting the TV up,on your entertainment center, do not rest your cable box,or anything else on it while setting up. Put a towel on it. The beautiful black plastic trim,scratches,and chips very easily.

On a side note, I only played around with it for a few minutes. Does it have an Audio output other than the headphone jack on the side to hook up my external speakers too? I'm sure the headphone jack running into my stero system is fine, but was curious if there was a specific Audio Output? And I noticed that the built in speakers turned off when I plugged into the headphone jack, is there a way to keep the built in speakers on at the same time? Thanks all. :-)

Just picked this up from Walmart today, did a site to store order. Hooked it up and everything worked great out of the box. We only use the normal over the air TV that's free, and that looks great. We also use our Nintendo Wii a LOT to watch Netflix movies. Those looked fantastic too. Hooked up my computer to it, and it played Crysis 2 and Wow both at the highest settings no problem. They looked fantastic. Buit in speakers are bad though. Use better speakers and you will be all set.

This television is beautiful, especially if you have an Xbox 360 w/ HDMI (which is included). They even throw in a soft cloth to keep the dust off your new HDTV, awesome!

Actually I recently tried the new call of duty which is really fast paced, at first I had the same worry but once I found out the right setting which is called "vivid motion" was turned on and that fixed everything and made the game experience really smooth.

The USB does not play videos but it does play mp3 and pictures albums in the form of a slide show. I don't believe any of the tv's out there plays videos through tue USB.

Awesome tv!! I worked for best buy for 5 years and worked around the so called brand names of the industry...Samsung, Sony, LG, Panasonic. I own the LG 55LD650 and Samsung LN55C650. According to the manual, yes it uses 115 wats and yes I have tested it with my PC using an hdmi output and it works wonderfully well upto 1080p with my laptop connected.

thanks for the review!!! i saw this tv at microcenter and its 120hz made it really stand out. 499$ at microcenter, which i thought was an excellent price. 449 at walmart its even better. you can pick up a emerson Led-Lcd super thin 42 for the same price, but for what this TV offers (120hz 4hdmi and build quality) its a no brainer. i just wanted to see it in action, and its pretty good. ordering soon b4 they go out of stock. thanks uploader!
