AT-100 is now the AT-100Pro II, I don't know if there is any major differences in the tuners. The AT-100 needs an adapter cable to connect to either Icom, Yaesu, Alinco. Their site doesn't mention Kenwood.
I also have the IC-7200 and it is a fantastic rig. Very reliable and pretty much shockproof. I work with the LDG AT-200 pro and it build it in to a ready to go flight case for the Dutch ARES.
So if you need a new HF radio for not much money. you can not comare this rig to let say the Yaesu FT-450 at all!! I would say, Go for the Icom IC-7200
