What is your favourite ghost train? Mine is Duel at Alton Towers because there is an actual theme to it and it has a good pace. I also like the one at Brean because it is surprisingly good for such a small park.

@MrBigDealJr the one in alton towers is abit pap, the only good part about it it that you get to shoot things... i like the one in blackpool because of the length, but my fravorit is the one at bridlington... dont know if its still there today but when i was a kid i had to close my eyes all the way through because i was so scaired

i went on this ride a few days ago, and i went on by myself (im 14).. and it broke down whilst i was inside.. it scared me sooooo much. Haha! Plus this ride is actually haunted, so me knowing that terrified me even more! Even though i had only just got round the corner ;)

I have a REALLY bad irrational fear of ghost trains. PB is my favourite resort and I've been going to it at least every year since I can remember. I'm 21 now and still haven't been on this ride. My little sisters (eleven and FIVE!!) go on it and every time we go, I always wait outside until they come off because I've been petrified. Thank you for this, I may go on it now. I was nervous watching the video (ha!) but I think it's time to face my fear!

@dorkee3 I'm 23, and suffer from the same irrational fear. The last time I tried to go on a ghost train I was 8, and passed out in the queue from sheer fright. I'm not entirely sure I'm going to manage all of this video, but at least I know someone else shares my fear! :)

@dorkee3 I was exactly the same as you because I was forced on a ghost train whn I was 5 and have had a phobia ever since - As long as there is not someone inside to grab you I'm usually OK (I always ask just in case...) - I started off with the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland, and worked my way up. I went through this Ghost Train today for the first time, and I'm glad I did. Also a big thanks to Mesmo for getting such a good POV of the ride.

lol this ride freaked me out so much :( at 3:25 when the train goes through the doors it broke down and i was just lucky enough that our train didn't brake down in the dark sections :S But it seriously freaked me out cos it's supposed to be haunted by a ghost called cloggy who used to manage the ride when it first opened :s so any way it totally freaked me out and we had to climb out the train and walk through the rest of it :( thumbs up if this happened to you :)

This is an awesome video and I'd like to give big thanks to the cameraman for making it not too dark, blurry, or jerky. And also for not laughing and making stupid comments through the whole thing. @ellacull I went a couple of weeks back and there's even more stuff in it now, just after the excorsist girl part they have a couple more horror film things (correct me if i'm wrong) but I think I saw The Wolfman, and something from the Evil Dead films, and some vampire lady thing. And the spinning tunnel train crash thing is new aswell! It didn't used to be like that. The skeletons on the bikes will always be a classic :D brings back memories! :)

For the people interested in the cloggy thing, Most Haunted done an episode in the Pleasure Beach and spent a lot of time in the ghost train, well worth watching, it's on youtube. I have been in car 24, not 18 though, but i never heard or felt anything, even when i was asking cloggy to do something.

@EvilToaster77 yeah it is hes called cloggy coz he used to wear clogs and he died twenty years ago so apparently if you go on numbers 18 and 24 you will hear his footsteps following you around the whole ride

@seanwray1 that's quite spooky, considering the ride is 70 years old. I'm going to Pleasure Beach sometime, and I'm going to sit in car 18 or 24. I think ride workers have said they've heard cloggy walking down the tracks, and once a worked was alone and the skull flashed it's eyes at him, and he went to turn off the power and it was already off! Scary though. But the annoying things is that some ppl dn't beleive in ghosts and they'll just say it's rubbish. But ghosts do exist. Oh yes they do...

@seanwray1 Damn your lucky to live in a country that has good theme parks. In Sweden there's only a few parks, but they aren't half as good compared to the ones in the UK/USA. Blackpool looks so good! Yeah try to get in car 18 or 24, and see if you catch Cloggy on film! I'd love to see that. Or tell me if you heard him behind you. Listen out! =)

Well done Mesmo, that's the best vid of the Ghost Train I've seen! I, too, love the new additions, especially the train line bit, much better than the old way. We normally only do the Ghost Train once per visit, but we went on it twice the other week just to see the new bits again! :-)
