Cool stuff..You set it up, and then focus on the actual data, on processing it, interpreting it and using the conclusions instead of wasting huge amounts of time (money and effort) doing the setup or GETTING THERE..(Not to mention that sometimes, you just CAN'T get there. High temperatures, hazards, etc)
I'm in Instrumentation & Control at U.S.T.H.B. I can see numerous applications for that, and that's just scratching the surface.
