I lost all respect for Road and Track when I viewed in my latest magazine that the 370Z Nismo was rated at 5.0 sec 0-60 and the normal one at 4.8 sec... I'm like WTF??? Even though the Nismo was reviewed in 2009 and the normal one in 2011, the horesepower figures today are the same for back in 2009 (350 hp for the Nismo and 332 for the normal one). I just can't respect them anymore.

@ferrari7060 He has a point, though. If you give an evo 400 horsepower (109 more than stock) and remove the limiter, it has the same 0-60 as the MP4-12C and a top speed of about 185. It could keep up with them in the corners too, Top Gear proved that. And for 20,000 dollars, bring an evo to AMS in Chicago, and they'll give it 750 reliable (that's the key word) awhp (900 crank hp). 750 brand new horses for $55,000? Yes please.

I'm a very simple man, I don't ask for much really. I wouldn't like to have a Bugati veyron, why? I don't know. I'd rather have Volkswagen golf GTI 6 or a Ford Mustang Fastback 1968. But this, this is the only car in the world that is "expensive" and good at the sametime. This is the only car I would like to own when it comes to none-simpleness. How come almost years after the McLaren F1, they go and build a car with a top speed 38 mph slower? Of course, speed isn't everything- handling, price and weight should be taken into account, but still. Seems almost backwards to me.

The F1 was meant to be a super legend epic hypercar, and they succeeded in that, but this is still more modern, more advanced, better handling. I'm sure it's faster around almost any track aside from something like Le Sarthe. In a way it's like asking why were 7.0L+ engines common in passenger cars 50 years ago, but not now? Or why don't we have V24 900ci engines running on aviation fuel. Bigger, grander, faster isn't always best.
