Feminine gays are the best in my opinion. (: They're just so sweet and cute. They make the best friends. I have a gay best friend and he's a feminine. But in high school, he used to be bullied a lot not only by straight people, but masculine gays. They always said he was "too gay". To me, there is no "too gay". You're either gay or you're not.
We should all stick together because in the end we are ALL gay regardless if someones more masculine than the other. I just think its stupid to divide a community that is ALREADY A MINORITY u_u
Lets be clear, this vid is about the hatred masculine gay men have towards gay men who are precieved as gay. What your talking about,is something everyone does. Youll see more str8 people "flaunting it" Then youll ever see homosexuals.. You deviated from your orginal comment, which was anti homosexual expression, watering that down to..i"'m gay and i find anyone flaunting it annoying, that's my point."That I would agree with, but that wasnt your orgianl statement. You sound prudish. CONFORMIST!
@ Lypno Your the one thats saying that. Thats your ideaology "have to be fem" Your refering to how people react when they are surprised your gay. Dont bring that down on all gay men that are preceieved as gay, because your tagged against the grain of what str8 people gay think should be gay. You might not need to fake it.but your encouraging other to be that way to be around you. Your uncomfortable around "fem" gay men. You would still be the same way if you found out a fem guy was str8.
Str8 world complex, great word, because thats exactly what it is. you hear men like this say alot,"Its none of anyones business who I sleep with." But they accept thier str8 friends getting preganat, and wearing wedding rings, and holding hands in public. But they feel its wrong for homosexuals to do it. that's self hatred it. Its not good for your own group but ok for your str8 friends to advertise who they got engaged to? "laid back" is another closeted word they love using. "normal" is another.
Chris I adore you, everything you say is 100% correct! douality. I enjoy defending you aganist the cruel and negative comments. "Why be around someone that outs me." Its the hatred of exposure masculine gay men exibit and not neccesarily that they "act gay" Crish you really should keep up vids like this. I think you have prevented many young gays from killing themsleves. I applaud your bravery and your ability to hit the nail right on the head. I love that word, "douality" I LOVE CHRIS!
Are kind of what? "Backbone" of the gay community? You did say that once. And that's not true, it's very hypocritical. Butch gay is still as gay as femme. There are no "true" gays. Being feminine means you want to be a woman - that's tranny. Being gay doesn't usually mean that, it means you're a man and want other men.
@Nancy99999 what are u talkin about? u sound ignorant. what do u mean feminie gays being gay means they want to be a woman? you sound so fuckin dumb. i have feminine tendencies so that means i want to be a woman? u idiot!
@handful808 FUCK YOU YOU CUNTING WHORE OF A CUNITING BITCH CUNT OF A DEAD MOTHER IN HELL YOU CUNTING BASTARD OF A MOTHERFUCKING TWAT OF A VAGINA HORSE IBRED OF A DEAD COCKROACH NIGGER OF CONGO AFRICA MONKEY WOMAN WANNABE
@Nancy99999 You really need an education.because unless this issue affects your personal life, its easy to coach from the side lines when you dont have your own team.
Mate the fact is you can tell a lot of camp gay guys are putting it on!
Yes some people are somewhat feminine all their lives but looooool look at you on that Maury show thing. You're wearing the girliest shit out there. As if you were born that way... no, you're just an attention seeking chode like a lot of the flamboyant faggots out there.
Normal guy that is incidentally gay coming at you.
@MrBigdboi92 Nowhere did you say you were gay. And if you did, using the most hateful word on a gay person even though you're gay yourself? Really? Sounds like you're insecure and uncomfortable with yourself.
Highly recommend gaybros on reddit, mate. You will probably fit right in there. No need for faggots like Chris Crocker (not being mean to fem gays, only those that put it on like the crockunt).
@AlexDuhx he says, those who are only out to there friends and family and not in public. Since you are out, then why not leave a positive comment about your own experience. Ebrace your homsexuality.
I'm masculine and I do fit in better with straight people. I've even openly made out with guys in front of people but no one assumes I could like guys. I think people have a hard time imagining that a masculine guy would ever be gay because "all gays are supposed to be feminine." I do have femme friends that I hang out with openly. I would never tell someone who was femme to not be femme. If I ever become that concerned about someone else's life, it means that I need to get a life of my own.
@TheDarkSideHasTacos The fact that you arent against the grain but not being fem, doesnt diminish the fact that true homophobes hate the homosexual act,if they had a choice they beat up on someone that was more like them instead of the opposite. It doesnt make you any safer from ridicule. I applaud your audacity in the face of your str8 commands.
I am sick of hearing about people being mean to fems, where are we as a comunity where we hate and attack within our selves. to be mean to another gay is just stupid. gays are gays.
femme gays get more discrimination...........even from their own family the people hu r meant to be supporting them as they cum out but they dont i have that its hard being femme gay coz alot of ur frends say they know discrimination but they have never had a taste of it b4 i hate it wen my frends say they no they no wen they dont
I am a bisexual and I know that many people who identify themselves as bi (mostly girls) will later say that they are hetero and that it was just a phase. This makes such a bad impression on the bi comunity. But bisexuals really do exist. I for one, knew since kindergarden that I liked girls, but further that I liked boys just the same. So please accept that bisexuality exists, and that were not on the fense, this is who we are.
@RainbowJudeSuxxx, I think the LGBT community see bi people as being "on the fence." Like bi people need to hurry up and "choose a side." A lot of bi celebrities have gone onto renounce their bi status which does not help bi people. Other sexualities, like pansexual, don't get any recognition at all.
@RainbowJudeSuxxx I agree, and I think one of the reasons the gay community had a problem with bisexuals are.. You could go either way,and they would loose a boyfirend to a female. Thats all fear. Bisexual tend to be more attracted to out gays, than closeted gays. I think this is because Bi's blend in more, and they feel the need to step outside boundries of ordinary looking relationships or sex. Bisexuals make the world go around, you have been around just as long as gays.
Bisexual also receive more discrimination I believe. Because some/most gay people (femme and masculine) don't believe that bisexuality exists and that the person just doesn't want to come out of the closet. And Heterosexuals believe bisexual people are just curious and are only in a phase of their life. So we receive prejudice from both sides of the coin.
I am a masculine gay as you call, and I never hide anything and I'm always open about myself. My whole entourage knows about my orientation and it's not an issue. I'm not embarrassed to express affection to my boyfriend (well, I'm single right now LOL) in public. I just don't think about it.But I get what you mean, don't worry Chris :).
You think people like being ashamed of themselves? Maybe they were brought up around 100% straight people and learned that acting feminine was a bad idea. It's not their fault, be more understanding.
I don't think effeminite gays give the community a bad rep, but I do think unlike sexual preference, femininity is a learned and/or chosen behavior, and much like the black community, there is an insular, homogenous (no pun intended) quality to it that makes you easy pickings for bigots. It's a natural defensive posture for a long-stigmatized group, but as equality increases we're going to have to give up our isolationism, which I think manifests itself in "standard" gay mannerisms.
ABSOLUTELY! You are so right about this I couldn't agree more! So very true! My boyfriend (who is Bi) and I have talked about this at length... we are equally as perplexed at meeting "Corporate Industry friendly" gays who you would never in a million years guess that they are gay and act weird around or about overtly expressive or femme acting guys. We call them... "Gay in a bad way." It's our favorite new expression and reference for this phenomena.
So ironic, he is attacking masculine guys here and yet his at his MOST masculine looking than ever in this video - his muscles, his singlet, the chain and, of course, the freaking beard!
Now how come you're trying to "camouflage" your sexuality?
I think this is the most masculine i've seen Chris in a video. There is a difference between being "fem" and "overly fem" There are fem straight guys out there just like there are fem gays. What I don't like are fems that have to go out there like "Hey look at me i'm gay." I'm not a masculine gay, but I certainly don't consider myself fem either. I am who I am, and live my life fitting in with the people that accept me for who I am. Which are actually more so straight than gay.
I love me a flamboyant queen as much as the next boy. What I don't like is an obnoxious asshole that who thinks that their shit don't stink, and think that being gay is an excuse to be a bitch cuz it's not. I don't hate fem gays I hate obnoxious assholes no matter what your sexual identity is
@Lypno I'm gay and I pluck my eyebrows (if I didn't I would have a unibrow lmao). And having a feminine voice isn't a choice, there are tons of feminine gays that hate their voices and wish they could speak normally, I don't think they could ever keep up a fake voice their whole life, and I doubt they would want to since they have no reason to.
Masculine or feminine, whatever. We gays already have it hard enough, why do we have to make it harder on each other? Can't we all just be who we are?
you can be expressive without being gay, similarly you can be gay and a reserved person. I don't think feminine gays have it harder, because when it comes down to behaviour sexuality is irrelevant, if your an obnoxious attention seeker than that has nothing to do with the fact that your gay, you can be naturally feminine without being an attention seeker, and you really don't understand the point at all, I'm openly gay, I don't care who knows, but I don't feel obliged to force it in peoples face
@FF9MovieMaker So,getting pregnant, engagements, pulbic displays of affection that str8 people enjoy isnt "forceing their sexuality? WHy do gay people seeem to think its wrong to want to display your love to the same sex in public. Why is it flaunting for gays, but accepting for str8s?
@Lively0101 i find PDA regardless of who it comes from. With gay people a lot do it knowing they will get attention and stares, so I wonder why. If its little like holding hands, fine, you gonna shove your tongue down someones throat i public, i don't care if its down a man or a womans, your still a pig
@FF9MovieMaker Then say people displays of public affection, and not imply homosexual signs of affection are wrong.,"Lilltle" You sound so self rightous. I knew exactly what you meant and dont try to back peddle.. Why do gay men feel its ok for str8 to flaunt thier affections, holding hands, hugging, sitting between your lovers legs. You werent refering to graphic displays of affection. Only homosexual ones!
@Lively0101 lol get over yourself, i'm gay and i find anyone flaunting it annoying, that's my point, i don't care if its straight of gay, I don't wanna be around it in public, get a room. If someones holding hands i don't care, but they shove their tongue down someones throat and are all over eachother, quite frankly they need to show some self-awareness and self respect. Look at all the comments you've left. Your being self-righteous
Feminine gays confuse a lot of straights because some of you do a good job looking like a women and hence the one group most straight guys worry they are hitting on a gay guy! But being a straight man and my brother "masculine gay" I have learned why they dislike the feminine type being their flamboyant way they go about clubbing. Meaning some will present the wrong image of the gay community. Also the masculine gays think think if your a guy stay a guy but gay.
@DemonRazgriz39 Your confused! Your talking about transgenedered people. I know str8 men that are threatened by gay men they cant read. because when they find out thier gay,the first thought they have.." Was he jerking off about me when I was in the shower." Was he trying to get me drunk so he could take advantage of me,because if I knew he was a faggot I would have never been at his house to watch the game let alone get drunk." Your statement is such a doulbe standard.
@DemonRazgriz39 I have 6 brothers 1 fem str8 brother 1 fem gay brother. Fem male doesnt mean your gay. Why is everyone equating fem guy with homosexual. Why cant a fem guy be str8? Your also refering to transgendered as well not all of them are homosexuals. I have a married str8 friend, she is a masculine female, and he is a fem str8 guy they get a lot of grief when they arent together from people like you that want to tag homosexual to everything that doesnt appear to the Norm.
Fuck all the labels. Everyone just needs to be who they are as a human being and accept people for they are. You can get called feminine or masculine but in the end your both the same either way cause your gay and your people. Everyone in this world behaves differently i mean Hell there are even straight men out there that have more beauty products than a drag queen lol. The only people that should be hated are the DOUCHE BAGS that deserve it. . . and cockroaches cause there all gross n stuff. .
... and alot of so-called masculine men who are hating gay people, also hate the women that they claim to love so much and treat them badly with creepy negative verbal abuse that they call cute and endearing.
Another point you missed Chris is that a lot of "masculine" gays aren't really that masculine. for many of them it's an "act"....not all masculine gays are naturally masculine. It is a form self-hatred and fear.
@luigee78 That's not true. Two of my colleagues are gay and they pass out as a typical straight guy - think George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
Ian McKellen is one of the most masculine acting actors out there with that deep voice and he is gay as they come. STOP generalising.
And no, most masculine gays are naturally that. They don't "act" that way. Acting something you're not, especially involving mannerism is very hard and tiring. No one would do that.
Nancy, I'm not generalizing on this issue. Yes, there are naturally masculine gays...but there are a lot who do "act" more masculine than what they really are. And yes, it is tiring and exausting for them - you are right about that. It's a shame they can't be themselves. I see "masculine" gay guys who act more "manly" than what they truly are when straight people are present, but when only gays are around they relax and let the act go and act a bit more like themselfs
I'm a closeted masculine gay guy, everybody thinks I'm straight and I think you're very cute and funny BUT I can't stand feminine gay guys: why do you pluck your eyesbrows? Why do you speak with this tone? It doesn't sound natural! I know that I sound like an ass by saying this but I think that feminate guys look fake. That's it.
@Lypno so if someone prentended to be masculine just to date you,and you found out he really wasnt a masculine gay guy, your first thought would be,"Why couldnt you just be yourself." Becasue he sounded the way he thought would make you comfortable, that would be wrong, correct? You hate men that expose homosexality. "everybody thinks Im str8." Implying it would be bad if they thought you were gay. Keep blending in,when youll need GLBT to fight for a job becasue someone found u out ur gay.
@Mrtroll821... False... I think all jackasses like you should be rounded up and sent to like some sorta 'scary' fairy land where there are rainbows and gay unicorns...
Fuck all faggots! Every faggot on this planet should be rounded up and sent to a death camp where they are slowly executed painfully. I also would love be able to witness some faggot getting executed. All of you are a rejects to society and should all dissapear u pieces of shit!
As a masculine gay man I have a simple question I’d like to ask and that is in what ways are feminine gay men discriminate against by masculine gay men?
@AdamaKnowsBest A lot of masculine gays think feminine gays are putting on a show and 'stereotyping' gays and therefore they dislike them. My ex was a masc gay and really disliked stereotypical gays...even though I am kind of one. :s
@AdamaKnowsBest I had a good job once, the male boss never liked me,always went out of his way to redicule me and deny promotions. He wore a wedding ring, which implied he was str8. a Year after I quit that job,I saw him and his male lover of 20 years celebrating thier anniversary at an exclusive gay bar. For 19 years he gave everyone the impression he had a wfie, but was really refering to his husband." The most dangerous Homosexuals are men like my ex boss. Hypocracey run amoke.
@AdamaKnowsBest Masculine gays also think the Feminine gays are weak and soft. Which I thought was stupid when my ex boyfriend told me I couldn't have possibly played any physical activities because Im not the most masculine but Im not flamboyant, but even regardless most think if your not a macho gay you are some for what ever reason a sissy. Thats funny to me coming from another gay person lol..
@Equality4ya How does what you wrote constitute discrimination by masculine gays? Because all I get from what is that certain individual gay men have very weird thinking regarding gender. What I want to know put simply is what do Masc gays do that harms Fems gays?
@AdamaKnowsBest Physical harm that masc. gays are "sometimes" link to fems are Hate crimes. Masculine gay men or DL gay men who are still having trouble with their identity or hate themselves and takes it out on the fem gays. Most of the murder cases (sadly) usually are towards a feminine gay male who was attacked by a man who most of the time is discovered during trial to be gay themselves. Some get scared they will be outed and don't want anyone to find out. like the incident in puerto rico.
@AdamaKnowsBest Now im not saying its ALWAYS the case of them doing some of the bullying/ Hate Crimes because honestly hate has no sexual preference. Its sad but true that a lot of the times hate crimes are done buy a male in the lgbt community. Im always so dissapointed to hear stories like that. Its like a republican fighting so hard against gay right and is discovered later to being gay. personally don't single out anyone in the comm because we get enough hate. I with all honesty hate labels.
It doesn't help when you label everything yourself chris. I'm gay too, I get asked or people don't mention but think it, am i gay? I have no issue with feminine gay men however it's the over dramatic "scene" causing gay men. That pisses me off because when you say "oh they can't help being feminine" Thats not the issue it's the fact bitching, eyebrow raising, attitude infested way of life. I'm not one to start hating on my "community" like being gay is a cult thing... But there is reason for it.
@HaWkAgE90 but its ok for str8 acting masculine men to be hyper masculine? Your comments is one of those" infested" attitudes. Its ok for females to be overly dramatic? Str8 men are overly dramatic too. A man Muders his wife because he cant handle her leaving him,you dont think its overly dramatic for him to murder her? If you truely are gay, then be supportive,Chris is refering to those masculine men who have a problem with thier "douality" is threatened. Your killing the messenger.
I do a lot of gay related videos on my channel. Can I just say this is one of the most powerful and meaningful videos out there. Here, Chris is VERY open minded opinion on things and I like the way he takes both sides of the coin on this one. Im a butch lesbian and I get the same thing in the lesbian community with the 'outing' attitude!
Just curious, but why are some gay men attracted to the more extreme "femme" gays? Such as crossdressing, gender changes, etc. Because it seems to me that a gay person who wants to be be a female wouldn't be attractive to a gay man who wants to date a guy. And this isn't meant to inspire some huge debate and I don't care to respond to any insults, I'm just curious, perhaps from the perspective of a gay man who's attracted to other gay men who like to dress/act like women, why they are.
@wtfdinos i am a gay man as well, i love being a guy. but i do dress in womens clothes on some occasion just cuz i think girls pants are prettier and no lie, they are. ill put on dramatic make up when i want to goof off and i love make up. but drag is something for the stage for me, not all my life or out on the street, i live in a horrible little hell-hole town in east texas and ill tell you, no one messes with me cuz i maybe femme, i fight like a grown ass straight guy, no slaps no scratching.
Great fuckin' video Chris. I've watched all your videos in order over the years, and in addition to your looney fabulosity, you come out with brilliant, insightful and inspiring commentary such as this. Keep doin what what u do girlfriend.
PS: Sorry I haven't commented sooner; I've never left comments on any youtube clip before.
@jmahlon The femininity tends to be more natural for gays. Masculinity tend to be unnatural for gays. "Masculine gays" tend to be the ones putting on airs.
I'm a masculine gay and I don't like being around femmes because I'm GAY. Just because you have dick, doesn't mean you can dress and act like a woman and it's OK. I like MEN and prefer guys who sound and act like a man not guys who cross dress and sound like they just inhaled helium.
@mppy126 Actually it does mean you can dress and act like a woman and it's OK, because it is "OK".
I can say the same thing and say just because you have a dick doesn't mean you have to act like an overly-macho retard. Feminine gays aren't pretending to be anything. If anything it's the so-called "masculine gays" who put on a show to hide their true femininity. I see it all the time. Feminine gays who call themselves masculine and they think they're masculine but are very obviously gay.
@mppy126 No one is saying you have to be attracted to or date feminine gays, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't accept them or try to dictate how they should and shouldn't act when they are just being themselves. Being born male doesn't guarantee being masculine, and no one should have to fake it if it's just not who they are. Open up your tiny mind and realize people have the right to be who they are.
@scumgod13 they don't, i do have to admit i used to think this to. but i know some that don't talk like there screaming there heads off in a raspy female voice.. or something like that.
Oh can i agree with this, i tried living as a fem gay boi (and experienced hate then) for a while hiding my true transgender feelings, upon my fulltime transition I was shocked how gay guys totally hated on me. Now im so far along in my transition I dont deal with that much at all. But i agree with your video. This also happens in the trans community. We all need to stick together if we all in the LGBT community want to be accepted and seen as equals!
You are so right. Once I fully accepted myself I gained a new perspective I became more accepting. I felt bad for things I had done before, I wanted to do something about it. This particular guy at uni. is always getting shit from the guys at the enginery building, he has to go through there to the fashion design's building and once I made a comment right to is face, about 2 years ago, but when I accepted who I was, I felt so guilty I went to him to apologize. I think he rocks for being him.
Great video, I can't tell if all your points are accurate because I just don't know. But from the straight perspective, I think straight people are also helping perpetuate that duality and "blending in." Because they would feel more comfortable in public with a masculine gay then a femme gay. Like they are saying "I'm comfortable because you're not so obvious." I'm not condoning that type of thinking, I'm just not laying all the blame on masculine gays for this dynamic.
THEN WHY THE FUCK YOU HAVE A BEARD AND A MUSH. GO AHEAD AND WEAR SKIRT AND MAKEUP! !!!. AND GO AHEAD AND HAVE A SEX CHANGE OPERATION.
FEMME GAYS THINKS THAT THEY ARE TRAPPED IN A BOY'S BODY AND THEY THINK THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE BORN AS A GIRL BUT . WE MASCULINES DON'T HAVE THAT SHIT. WE ARE MALE AND WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SEX WITH MALE. SIMPLE ISN'T IT???? DID YOU GET THE ANSWER NOW???
@itschriscroker I think what @estilo741 is trying to say is that gays in general accept feminine gays and accept that they themselves are gay and shit buuuuuuuuuuut gays arent as attracted to feminine gays because we look for more manly guys because we are attracted to manly guys.
You are so right Chris. Masculine gays hide alot in the straight community and try to fit in. I am a straight 17 year old girl and i completely agree with you.My whole life i have had either Feminine Gays or Lesbians or Bi's as my friends and they are proud to be gay!
You know what Chris? you are jealous, because ALL MASCULINE GAY GUYS are successful, and are respected. Masculine gay guys are proud of being gay, a lot of them are out, and are well respected for all those reasons, at work, with friends, family etc. You femme guys will never enjoy that, because you are fake, obnoxious, sick, drug addicts and promiscuous too. Oh and please, don't use the term "masculine acting gays", cause being masculine is not acting or pretending, it is just how men should be
And FYI, if Pride means acting like a girl, then f you, to me Pride goes beyond being femme, Pride should be being proud of being men and liking men, while being successful and healthy in our community, rather than acting like a-holes such as you and all femmes who by the way play the role of a victim bitch1ng about why society discriminates when in reality society doesnt discriminate, it just avoids you for being insane and irresponsible with almost every single thing you do in life!
You described that the masculine gays are hating themselves by hating the feminine gay community, however, you demonstrated that you in fact feel the same type of hatred toward them. You cursed at them and gave them the finger twice, and to me that pretty much demonstrates hate. That's quite a lot of contradiction.
@spectrus14 I tend to agree. And I don't think it's exclusive to gay men. Straight men also fall somewhere on the spectrum of feminine to masculine, though less likely to talk openly about it. Both have good and bad characteristics. But for straight men, it's no contest to identify as masculine if you have children, are a provider, watch football, etc. But if you are a straight man and that's not the lifestyle for you, it can get very confusing and you end up defending your sexuality too.
@spectrus14 I don't thats the point he's trying to make. Chris said the Masculine gays hate on the femmes and call them names like they are higher on the food chain in society when in reality gay is Gay! So I am really shocked and annoyed that all the masculine really join the homophobes and attack feminine gays. A bisexual guy who is normally masculine secretly liked me, but would call me a fag and said I hanged around girls to much and smiled alot. I think it crazy and needs to stop.
Dear Sweet Chris, As another femme gay I totally agree with all that you say. I have had to put up with the crap like you are nice but too girly. I do like be gay and at times a little femme...shite I accept who I am.....This is another Chris
And since having common sense doesn't really go along with the "gay image" then if you use it, your ashamed. we just need to be ourselves... if we are natually femm, fine. if we are naturally masc, fine... just don't try to make people out to be something your not. Contrary to popular belief, "gay" does not mean Change every aspect of yourself, and in my experience a lot of discrimination comes from "mainstream" gays who think the masc community are all hetero-conformist and therefore ashamed
being gay starts and stops with a same sex attraction. Anything else is just window dressing. If you don't act gay enough (usually the image you see on TV) then you're ashamed. If you don't wanna deal with gay drama and the shallow (and in reality, small) aspect of the community than your ashamed. Half the time, masculine gays don't fit in with that so they just avoid it. They aren't closeted, they just have more common sense. (cont...)
I think where you live comes into it. I live in a smaller city where the feminine gays are in the majority and the masculine gays get discriminated against. If you don't buy into the drama, if you don't go out sleeping around or drinking, the gays around here all seem to think you don't wanna be a part of the community. It's not really a question of being ashamed, it's more about not wanting to deal with a bunch of unneeded shit that seems to come with the cliche's. (cont...)
I agree with almost everything you say. I do however take a little insult to you assuming masculine gays dont accept who they are or the community. I am a very masculine gay man, but I am completely out there. All my friends know, and I embrace gay culture and even feminine gay men, and I know from experience that a lot of other masculine gay men do the same. So, I'm sure what you say may be true sometime, but please, dont assume it all the time.
See I feel like you grouped masculine gay men into a "in the close" group. I understand that most femme gays don't choose but i have also witnessed many times a gay guy come out and they completely change the way they are. Which in my opinion is fake, and you're just trying to prove a point. That is my biggest problem.
I am a masculine gay man that is attracted to fem gay men. I have been deceived so many times. In my experience effeminate gay men are some of the most dysfunctional two faced people i know of. If there is one that is an exception i sure would like to meet him.
What a basic common-sense video. People are who they are. Feminine gays do not choose to be feminine any more than masculine gays choose to be masculine. We always say that being gay is not a choice, but how about it's not a choice what type of gay we are. Our community should accept everybody who is a decent person, and we should stick up for all of us. We should not be spreading hatred against each other.
Chris whatever! You have no clue about a lot of gay people out there. You think masculine gays discriminate, that isnt true. Masculine gays don't like hanging out with some femme gays because it just happens that a lot of them are into drugs, promiscuous, obnoxious and full of crap and drama. Im gay, Im masculine, I don't feel atracted to femmes, I can be friends with femmes as long as they are healthy and sane.Im out and masculine too, like tons of men out there so shut up cause u have no clue!
@cara1111 He does have a good point though discrimination is wrong in any form but it doesn't really make sense to be inside a community that already gets so much shit. I dont think the point was to call out Masculine gays as cowards or whatever but more to point out that there is a problem. Also you must realize that he is generalizing not all Masculine gays are the way Cris describes just like not all Femmes are promiscuous, obnoxious, druggies.
Yeah, you're right! Chris Crocker loves generalizing, he thinks he knows it all when he knows nothing! plus, there're femme gays that are totally in the closet, when they are with straight people they r butch, once they go to the gay village they are as femme as they can be. Then, not all masculine gays are in the closet, nor they are masculine just to fit in. Chris, u know nothing! masculine gays are true to themselves, and have the right of keeping distance from crazy people like you!
i agree every fem guy i have dated wants nothing more than attention, and will lead you on despite being told of deception experienced from past relationships. They view you as nothing more than a conquest, and are the most hypocritical minority in existence.
I agree.Plus the gay scene is becoming femme exclusive. The gay culture isnt about diversity anymore. Most gays think pride means acting like drama divas. If you arent femme acting, or a drama queen who likes bitch*ng about everything then you kinda dont fit in the gay scene. What do I say to that? Fuck the gay scene, I rather hang out in heterosexual places and make friends that are healthy and sane! it is not discrimination, nobody can make me hang out with femme guys if I don't like that!
@cara1111 I really would like to meet a good fem guy.. i still try to be open to the possibility of that. Gay culture is definitely dysfunctional though, just like how thug culture is dysfunctional.

CONFORMIST!
Lively0101 1 week ago

RainbowJudeSuxxx 1 month ago
@RainbowJudeSuxxx, I think the LGBT community see bi people as being "on the fence." Like bi people need to hurry up and "choose a side." A lot of bi celebrities have gone onto renounce their bi status which does not help bi people. Other sexualities, like pansexual, don't get any recognition at all.
TheDarkSideHasTacos 1 month ago
@RainbowJudeSuxxx I agree, and I think one of the reasons the gay community had a problem with bisexuals are.. You could go either way,and they would loose a boyfirend to a female. Thats all fear. Bisexual tend to be more attracted to out gays, than closeted gays. I think this is because Bi's blend in more, and they feel the need to step outside boundries of ordinary looking relationships or sex. Bisexuals make the world go around, you have been around just as long as gays.
Lively0101 1 week ago
Bisexual also receive more discrimination I believe. Because some/most gay people (femme and masculine) don't believe that bisexuality exists and that the person just doesn't want to come out of the closet. And Heterosexuals believe bisexual people are just curious and are only in a phase of their life. So we receive prejudice from both sides of the coin.
RainbowJudeSuxxx 1 month ago
I am a masculine gay as you call, and I never hide anything and I'm always open about myself. My whole entourage knows about my orientation and it's not an issue. I'm not embarrassed to express affection to my boyfriend (well, I'm single right now LOL) in public. I just don't think about it.But I get what you mean, don't worry Chris :).
MrFantasnick 1 month ago
You think people like being ashamed of themselves? Maybe they were brought up around 100% straight people and learned that acting feminine was a bad idea. It's not their fault, be more understanding.
dblubarry 1 month ago
I don't think effeminite gays give the community a bad rep, but I do think unlike sexual preference, femininity is a learned and/or chosen behavior, and much like the black community, there is an insular, homogenous (no pun intended) quality to it that makes you easy pickings for bigots. It's a natural defensive posture for a long-stigmatized group, but as equality increases we're going to have to give up our isolationism, which I think manifests itself in "standard" gay mannerisms.

We call them... "Gay in a bad way." It's our favorite new expression and reference for this phenomena.

Which are actually more so straight than gay.

gaber1346 2 months ago
@Lypno I'm gay and I pluck my eyebrows (if I didn't I would have a unibrow lmao). And having a feminine voice isn't a choice, there are tons of feminine gays that hate their voices and wish they could speak normally, I don't think they could ever keep up a fake voice their whole life, and I doubt they would want to since they have no reason to.
ogredan100 2 months ago
Masculine or feminine, whatever. We gays already have it hard enough, why do we have to make it harder on each other? Can't we all just be who we are?
Riceqween01 2 months ago
you can be expressive without being gay, similarly you can be gay and a reserved person.
FF9MovieMaker 2 months ago
@FF9MovieMaker So,getting pregnant, engagements, pulbic displays of affection that str8 people enjoy isnt "forceing their sexuality? WHy do gay people seeem to think its wrong to want to display your love to the same sex in public. Why is it flaunting for gays, but accepting for str8s?
Lively0101 1 week ago
@Lively0101 i find PDA regardless of who it comes from. With gay people a lot do it knowing they will get attention and stares, so I wonder why. @FF9MovieMaker Then say people displays of public affection, and not imply homosexual signs of affection are wrong.,"Lilltle" You sound so self rightous.

DemonRazgriz39 2 months ago
@DemonRazgriz39 Your confused! Your talking about transgenedered people. I know str8 men that are threatened by gay men they cant read. because when they find out thier gay,the first thought they have.." Was he jerking off about me when I was in the shower." Was he trying to get me drunk so he could take advantage of me,because if I knew he was a faggot I would have never been at his house to watch the game let alone get drunk." Your statement is such a doulbe standard.
Lively0101 1 week ago
@DemonRazgriz39 I have 6 brothers 1 fem str8 brother 1 fem gay brother. Fem male doesnt mean your gay. Why is everyone equating fem guy with homosexual. Why cant a fem guy be str8? Your also refering to transgendered as well not all of them are homosexuals. I have a married str8 friend, she is a masculine female, and he is a fem str8 guy they get a lot of grief when they arent together from people like you that want to tag homosexual to everything that doesnt appear to the Norm.
Lively0101 1 week ago
Fuck all the labels. Everyone just needs to be who they are as a human being and accept people for they are. You can get called feminine or masculine but in the end your both the same either way cause your gay and your people. Everyone in this world behaves differently i mean Hell there are even straight men out there that have more beauty products than a drag queen lol. The only people that should be hated are the DOUCHE BAGS that deserve it. . . and cockroaches cause there all gross n stuff. .
Stardustarmor24 2 months ago
... and alot of so-called masculine men who are hating gay people, also hate the women that they claim to love so much and treat them badly with creepy negative verbal abuse that they call cute and endearing.
lumeriam 2 months ago
Another point you missed Chris is that a lot of "masculine" gays aren't really that masculine. for many of them it's an "act"....not all masculine gays are naturally masculine. It is a form self-hatred and fear.
luigee78 2 months ago
@luigee78 That's not true. Two of my colleagues are gay and they pass out as a typical straight guy - think George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
Ian McKellen is one of the most masculine acting actors out there with that deep voice and he is gay as they come. STOP generalising.
And no, most masculine gays are naturally that. They don't "act" that way. Acting something you're not, especially involving mannerism is very hard and tiring. No one would do that.
Nancy99999 2 months ago
@Nancy99999

Lypno 2 months ago
@Lypno so if someone prentended to be masculine just to date you,and you found out he really wasnt a masculine gay guy, your first thought would be,"Why couldnt you just be yourself." As a masculine gay man I have a simple question I’d like to ask and that is in what ways are feminine gay men discriminate against by masculine gay men?
AdamaKnowsBest 3 months ago
@AdamaKnowsBest A lot of masculine gays think feminine gays are putting on a show and 'stereotyping' gays and therefore they dislike them. My ex was a masc gay and really disliked stereotypical gays...even though I am kind of one. :s
2ejs9 3 months ago in playlist Favorite videos
@AdamaKnowsBest I had a good job once, the male boss never liked me,always went out of his way to redicule me and deny promotions. He wore a wedding ring, which implied he was str8. a Year after I quit that job,I saw him and his male lover of 20 years celebrating thier anniversary at an exclusive gay bar. For 19 years he gave everyone the impression he had a wfie, but was really refering to his husband." The most dangerous Homosexuals are men like my ex boss. Hypocracey run amoke.
Lively0101 1 week ago
@AdamaKnowsBest Masculine gays also think the Feminine gays are weak and soft. Which I thought was stupid when my ex boyfriend told me I couldn't have possibly played any physical activities because Im not the most masculine but Im not flamboyant, but even regardless most think if your not a macho gay you are some for what ever reason a sissy. Thats funny to me coming from another gay person lol..
Equality4ya 6 days ago
@Equality4ya How does what you wrote constitute discrimination by masculine gays? Because all I get from what is that certain individual gay men have very weird thinking regarding gender. What I want to know put simply is what do Masc gays do that harms Fems gays?
AdamaKnowsBest 5 days ago
@AdamaKnowsBest Physical harm that masc. gays are "sometimes" link to fems are Hate crimes. Masculine gay men or DL gay men who are still having trouble with their identity or hate themselves and takes it out on the fem gays. Most of the murder cases (sadly) usually are towards a feminine gay male who was attacked by a man who most of the time is discovered during trial to be gay themselves. Some get scared they will be outed and don't want anyone to find out. like the incident in puerto rico.
Equality4ya 4 days ago

HaWkAgE90 3 months ago
@HaWkAgE90 but its ok for str8 acting masculine men to be hyper masculine? Your comments is one of those" infested" attitudes. Its ok for females to be overly dramatic? Str8 men are overly dramatic too. A man Muders his wife because he cant handle her leaving him,you dont think its overly dramatic for him to murder her? If you truely are gay, then be supportive,Chris is refering to those masculine men who have a problem with thier "douality" is threatened. Your killing the messenger.

I'm a masculine gay and I don't like being around femmes because I'm GAY. Just because you have dick, doesn't mean you can dress and act like a woman and it's OK. I like MEN and prefer guys who sound and act like a man not guys who cross dress and sound like they just inhaled helium.
mppy126 5 months ago
@mppy126 You can also overreact like a little bitch.
Axol 4 months ago
@mppy126 Actually it does mean you can dress and act like a woman and it's OK, because it is "OK".
I can say the same thing and say just because you have a dick doesn't mean you have to act like an overly-macho retard. Feminine gays aren't pretending to be anything. If anything it's the so-called "masculine gays" who put on a show to hide their true femininity. I see it all the time. Feminine gays who call themselves masculine and they think they're masculine but are very obviously gay.
DaFawky 4 months ago
@mppy126 No one is saying you have to be attracted to or date feminine gays, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't accept them or try to dictate how they should and shouldn't act when they are just being themselves. Being born male doesn't guarantee being masculine, and no one should have to fake it if it's just not who they are. Open up your tiny mind and realize people have the right to be who they are.

I disagree, I honestly dont think you can represent thousands of gays..... Thats your problem and deal with it!
amirgyg 5 months ago

DID YOU GET THE ANSWER NOW???
estilo741 5 months ago
@itschriscroker I think what @estilo741 is trying to say is that gays in general accept feminine gays and accept that they themselves are gay and shit buuuuuuuuuuut gays arent as attracted to feminine gays because we look for more manly guys because we are attracted to manly guys.
Slimshady3minem 5 months ago
I get it. Masculine gays are gay people who are scared or upset or mad that they are gay.

You are so right Chris. Masculine gays hide alot in the straight community and try to fit in. I am a straight 17 year old girl and i completely agree with you.My whole life i have had either Feminine Gays or Lesbians or Bi's as my friends and they are proud to be gay!

You have women who are more masculine, so why can't you have truly feminine gay guys? People are diverse. Duh! ;)

linkinDawgXing13 6 months ago
You know what Chris? you are jealous, because ALL MASCULINE GAY GUYS are successful, and are respected. Masculine gay guys are proud of being gay, a lot of them are out, and are well respected for all those reasons, at work, with friends, family etc. You femme guys will never enjoy that, because you are fake, obnoxious, sick, drug addicts and promiscuous too. Oh and please, don't use the term "masculine acting gays", cause being masculine is not acting or pretending, it is just how men should be
cara1111 6 months ago
And FYI, if Pride means acting like a girl, then f you, to me Pride goes beyond being femme, Pride should be being proud of being men and liking men, while being successful and healthy in our community, rather than acting like a-holes such as you and all femmes who by the way play the role of a victim bitch1ng about why society discriminates when in reality society doesnt discriminate, it just avoids you for being insane and irresponsible with almost every single thing you do in life!
cara1111 6 months ago
You described that the masculine gays are hating themselves by hating the feminine gay community, however, you demonstrated that you in fact feel the same type of hatred toward them. You cursed at them and gave them the finger twice, and to me that pretty much demonstrates hate. That's quite a lot of contradiction.
zwickbt15 6 months ago
can't u just accept that musculine gays just aren't feminine because that's not themselves? they feel good being masculine, so what?
spectrus14 6 months ago
@spectrus14 I tend to agree. And I don't think it's exclusive to gay men. Straight men also fall somewhere on the spectrum of feminine to masculine, though less likely to talk openly about it. Both have good and bad characteristics. But for straight men, it's no contest to identify as masculine if you have children, are a provider, watch football, etc. But if you are a straight man and that's not the lifestyle for you, it can get very confusing and you end up defending your sexuality too.
celsias 5 months ago
@spectrus14 I don't thats the point he's trying to make. Chris said the Masculine gays hate on the femmes and call them names like they are higher on the food chain in society when in reality gay is Gay! So I am really shocked and annoyed that all the masculine really join the homophobes and attack feminine gays. A bisexual guy who is normally masculine secretly liked me, but would call me a fag and said I hanged around girls to much and smiled alot. I think it crazy and needs to stop.

And since having common sense doesn't really go along with the "gay image" then if you use it, your ashamed. we just need to be ourselves... if we are natually femm, fine. if we are naturally masc, fine... just don't try to make people out to be something your not. Contrary to popular belief, "gay" does not mean Change every aspect of yourself, and in my experience a lot of discrimination comes from "mainstream" gays who think the masc community are all hetero-conformist and therefore ashamed
whitesentinix 6 months ago
being gay starts and stops with a same sex attraction. (cont...)
whitesentinix 6 months ago
I think where you live comes into it. I live in a smaller city where the feminine gays are in the majority and the masculine gays get discriminated against. If you don't buy into the drama, if you don't go out sleeping around or drinking, the gays around here all seem to think you don't wanna be a part of the community. It's not really a question of being ashamed, it's more about not wanting to deal with a bunch of unneeded shit that seems to come with the cliche's. (cont...)
whitesentinix 6 months ago
I agree with almost everything you say. I do however take a little insult to you assuming masculine gays dont accept who they are or the community. I am a very masculine gay man, but I am completely out there. All my friends know, and I embrace gay culture and even feminine gay men, and I know from experience that a lot of other masculine gay men do the same. So, I'm sure what you say may be true sometime, but please, dont assume it all the time.
Friedrice3000 6 months ago

Im gay, Im masculine, I don't feel atracted to femmes, I can be friends with femmes as long as they are healthy and sane.Im out and masculine too, like tons of men out there so shut up cause u have no clue!
cara1111 6 months ago
@cara1111 He does have a good point though discrimination is wrong in any form but it doesn't really make sense to be inside a community that already gets so much shit. I dont think the point was to call out Masculine gays as cowards or whatever but more to point out that there is a problem. Also you must realize that he is generalizing not all Masculine gays are the way Cris describes just like not all Femmes are promiscuous, obnoxious, druggies.
yaoilover234 6 months ago
Yeah, you're right! Chris Crocker loves generalizing, he thinks he knows it all when he knows nothing! plus, there're femme gays that are totally in the closet, when they are with straight people they r butch, once they go to the gay village they are as femme as they can be. Then, not all masculine gays are in the closet, nor they are masculine just to fit in. Chris, u know nothing! masculine gays are true to themselves, and have the right of keeping distance from crazy people like you!
cara1111 6 months ago
i agree every fem guy i have dated wants nothing more than attention, and will lead you on despite being told of deception experienced from past relationships. They view you as nothing more than a conquest, and are the most hypocritical minority in existence.
Frizzurd 6 months ago
I agree.Plus the gay scene is becoming femme exclusive. The gay culture isnt about diversity anymore. Most gays think pride means acting like drama divas. If you arent femme acting, or a drama queen who likes bitch*ng about everything then you kinda dont fit in the gay scene. What do I say to that? Fuck the gay scene, I rather hang out in heterosexual places and make friends that are healthy and sane! it is not discrimination, nobody can make me hang out with femme guys if I don't like that!
cara1111 6 months ago
@cara1111 I really would like to meet a good fem guy.. i still try to be open to the possibility of that. Gay culture is definitely dysfunctional though, just like how thug culture is dysfunctional.
