@XxChizuruxX If you want to keep speed,I suggest crossovers.Actually,you need to have a pretty large leg muscles to do good clean crossovers and manage to keep you're speed.

@speedy3150 Dodging traffic is a great way to learn turning. Admittedly, it's sort of a sink or swim approach.

@chrstilen5 She's a fantastic roller derby player/coach. We aren't ALLOWED to skate in blades, only quads. Same with Jam & Figure skating and even some speed leagues.

If you're a blader, congrats. You can blade. I think, though, mastering both wheel arrangements would improve anyone's skating.

I'm very sorry. Correct comment on how to turn, but far too verbose. Please, where is the demo? The very short motion clip does not demonstrate what the teacher has just expounded: introducing the turn by shifting the appropriate shoulder in the desired direction.
