I agree! It brought the Bossa Nova wave to international sensation, and for all of us who were alive during that time, it was so fun, so cocktail-party-poolside, so serene. It was a simpler, funner time, and brings back such fond memories.

@dewey44 While I would agree that Jobim's songs will remain classics, the works of Lennon and McCartney will still be played indefinitely and be known by a wider audience. That is not to say that they are better, it is just a reality of exposure and the fact that many of them are damn good.

There is room in the hearts of many people for both.
