i have a question for anyone seeing these comments: how can god bless america, when america stopped blessing god ?
people say that we should take god out of everything, schools famillies CHURCHES and our COUNTRY. but they seem to be forgetting that our country was FOUNDED on god. and the RELIGION that people scoff at and hate is the same RELIGION that started and influenced the success of this country. now that theres less of God in all that america does, it seems like americas going downhill 2

Do not teach creationism in science classes. Science is about what can be tested and proven over and over again. Creationism is theology about how it all began. don't teach them in the same class.
@imjustageekycookie well, yes and no. I believe America was founded on the freedom, wether it be religious or otherwise. The 1st settlers came over to America to escape religious persecution. And religion has very little to do with the county as a whole. And, not that you mentioned it, but "under God" was added to the Pledge of Allegiance in the 1950's, not during the times of the founding fathers. DFTBA.
From my understanding the founding fathers warned against factions and political parties, fearing they would gain too much power. Basically they were very worried about concentrated power. ie: political parties, corporations etc..

Twentieth Century historian Carroll Quigley wrote in Tragedy and Hope that the elite manipulate elections in order to keep “the two parties almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.” The elite have successfully done that for nearly a hundred years and the well trained sheeple will keep doing it for another 100 years!

Kind of like it. I am a Republican that will reregister to non affiliated. The Democrats are pretty bad but you can't go back to what got us this current batch, the Republicans. So sick of both parties.

There is lots of disagreement on various issues within a political party, but those people still fall in the same political party because they agree with each other on most of the issues. I could not sit thru this with the quick edits and the mtv style hyped rant. I guess there is a snappy ad to get the addition but I fear if you feel compelled by this ad your the type of person that will be watching tv five minutes later.

Well, there are other parties/candidates, but they have no real chance of gaining votes in America, unfortunately. That's why parties like the Constitution Party, Libertarian Party, Green Party, etc. and politicians like Ron Paul (who ran as a Republican but is more of a Libertarian) don't have any real chance at winning, b/c America is stuck in a 2 party rut. :( It sucks.

You're ignorance of politics gives you away. There are a hundred different political theories and thoughts. Socialist anarchist, which are thought to be exactly opposite, is one example. Another example would be militant environmentalism, and another would be nationalist conservatism.

This kid obviously doesn't know much about politics. There is lots of disagreement on various issues within a political party, but those people still fall in the same political party because they agree with each other on most of the issues. Just because two people are in the same party doesn't mean they think EXACTLY alike. No one thinks exactly alike.

Another moron trying to act "deep" under the guise of "thinking outside the box". The WHOLE WORLD essentially has a two party system, socialism and individualism, communism and fascism, totalitarianism and anarchy. Every third party fall somewhere withing these boundaries. That's like saying "why do we have hot and cold?" Well, that's just how it is. Warm and cool are the "third parties" in this case, but they still fall under one general category.

Well, there are other parties/candidates, but they have no real chance of gaining votes in America, unfortunately. That's why parties like the Constitution Party, Libertarian Party, Green Party, etc. and politicians like Ron Paul (who ran as a Republican but is more of a Libertarian) don't have any real chance at winning, b/c America is stuck in a 2 party rut. :( It sucks.

Ah, we all have our own independent parties that we love. The only problem is, we haven't gotten to the point where one independent party has gained enough support to actually win an election.
Do I vote independent to make a political statement that few will hear?
Political individualism is great, but the problem is, voting Independent generally steals votes from the Democrats, giving the Republicans (who contains a much smaller percentage of people who vote independent) a "pseudo vote".
