I am a tobacco farmer in Ky, i do not smoke but it bothers me when people try to have laws passed to ban the use of anything that does not directly harm someone else. it reminds me of a socialist gov. ie the seat belt law. and that "second hand smoke kills" quote is ignorant because if you dont like it move.

This looks like an awesome documentary. I don't even smoke, AND I was totally bummed about the "no smoking in bars" law that was passed in NY and is catching on in other states. Now when I'm at a bar all my friends leave to grab a cig and I sit at the bar and watch their beers.... so lame. Freedom of choice 100% - from a non smoker.
I think it is time. It is for the good of man kind. It has been a long time and a solution should have been met. It isn't to say that farmers will lose their farms and people will lose their jobs. We learn and grow something else that is positive. Something that is productive and helps the economy.
Tobacco is not evil. The tobacco that corporations come out with, Cigarettes etc...tobacco filled with chemicals..That is bad. But a nice pipe or cigar, it is good. As long as you dont inhale.
I hear commercial cigarette tobacco contains over 4000 radioactive chemicals which are sprayed onto the live plants which is the cause for all of smoking related deaths. but hand rolling tobacco in pouches contains only tobacco, i believe you will not die for smoking this tobacco. If you like to smoke do not no matter what smoke commercial cigarette tobacco.
Cass wheeler is an idiot. Yea sure tobacco is a addictive drug, but its also the persons fault who got cancer from it was because IT WAS THERE RESPONSIBILITY. Those people who died, I hope they RIP, but you can never, fully blame the tobacco industries because many people are informed of what a cigarette is made of. Even the people who died, they were informed. I personally enjoy a good cigar then and there, but FULLY blaming on the industries is ignorance. They do take SOME part of blame.
Freedom of choice folks is a wonderful thing. What I don't get is there are more people dying from heart attacks and stroke everyday yet we do not attack people for over eating or choosing a diet high in fat. Give smokers the same respect you would demand of others. I can remember sitting by my grandpa while he smoked his pipe and the smell was awesome. Try helping people before you condemn them them. Tell them to try SmokeScents when they can't smoke.
LEgalize weed pleeeaasee. so people will quite having bad health, and at the same time, still be smoking and get a high that is so much more beneficial for not only physical health, but emotional health as well. i mean come on, ciggarets are more addictive than heroin! marijuana has NO chemical addictions. open your eyes people. legalize marijuana.
