  • Funniest tour I've ever seen.. lol "I feel like a freak right now"

  • The school looks awesome. Must be fun being there.

  • Wow! how awesome of you to give us a tour of the school. Also why do all Japanese girls always do the peace sign? It's like that's the only thing they do when they have a camera in their faces lol.

  • @Cinlouxx lol im not sure why everyone does peace signs. it's just a part of modern japanese expression in photos i guess. i guess it's also fun to do! i feel weird when i don't do peace signs now. : P

  • @ippikicoqui I read somewhere that it's V for Victory not for Peace.

  • @Cinlouxx i think it's because Japan (after WW2) is against war.

  • Thank you SO much for posting all of this. I am looking into study abroad in Japan and Kansai Gaidai is on top of my list. Thank you~

  • I REALLY APPRECIATE THE TOUR! The other girl who is currently going there didn't show the campus. She just V-LOGED from her dorm. But he insight was helpful but I prefer ur vids

  • Thanks so~ much for the little tour. It was great and the school looks awesome!

  • So what is the story as to why you switched to dorms? Sorry if that's a personal question!!

  • i sent you a pm

  • Lol it's cute how you shy from the camera with people around. I'm the same!! Oh and, may I ask your opinon as to which would be better - homestay or dorms? I want to make sure I learn Japanese really well, but I also want to have my freedom. Um...how much Japanese did you learn by the end of it? Lol

  • hmm i really enjoy homestay a lot. if you have a good family it makes it totally worth it. my japanese has improved a whole lot because of it and i am getting more of a japanese experience. the dorm does give a lot of freedom. it depends on what kind of experience you want

  • i enjoy my /new/ host family a lot. it took a second try to get a good family.

  • Thank you for the vid!!

  • swear to god i saw taka in the cie part, tell him jake says he's a faggot. and if the japanese girls ask you if anything is kawaii, tell them its not and watch their faces go from fake smile to confused look fast as SHIT. its funny. post some more of japanese/international student reaction

  • lmao taka is famous. yeah he was in the back. trying to ignore me filming, thinking that he wouldn't show up. : P

  • Thank you for the videos and blog they are very helpful. Trying to decide where to go once I'm done serving in the Army.

  • Awesome video! I also plan on applying for Fall 2010 and hopefully get into the university. This has just got me 10x more excited and more nervous than ever. Do you have classes from M-F?

  • it can be your dream too! sigue pa'lante!

right now i am. but this semester another one from mayaguez is coming. : )

  • thank you! i sure will!

i just got accepted to the UPR of rio piedras so hopefully we can take over japan xD

hope everything is going well =)

  • Hi, i'm a student at USF florida and am going to be coming to this Univertsity hopefully in the spring of 2011 or the fall. and was wondering how hard was it for you to get into the exchange program. Did you have to pass test, or fight for a spot in the program etc.. Thanks and keep up the great videos!

  • hey! i'm not sure if it varies or not. There weren't any tests. Just write a good statement of purpose and find recommendation letters. Each school has a limit of students they accept. No one from my school was denied a spot. Not many people applied per se. It really varies. You should be fine if your grades are good and you've got a well written statement and good letters! Ask your study abroad advisor for sure if you have doubts though! Good luck! : )

  • Love this video !

I'm hoping to study there in a year or so.

Thank you so much for making this video!

  • Ooh thanks for doing these videos! I'm hoping to study here in the spring of '11. I've been to Japan half a dozen times cause of family but I've never been as a student!

  • Ahhh. I can't wait to go theree. I have like 3 more years to go. XD

  • how much do you have to pay total?

  • do you mean in terms of tuition? it depends on if you do dorms or homestay and stuff like that. there is a budget estimate on kansai gaidai's website. it also depends on much your plane ticket is.

  • how much is tuition and being in the dorms? i look at the website and kind of got confused

  • do you remember when you recieved your visa supporting documents (Certificate of eligibility)?? Thanks again for the videos :)

  • i got the certificate of eligibility a little late. it was sometime during the summer i think, only a month or two before i was supposed to come to japan. then i went to the consulate with it and it took like 3 days for them to do the visa and then i picked it up.

  • I really enjoy youe videos and I hope you keep making more:)

Don't be like those people who say they're gonna do all this stuff then they never update:(

  • lool thaanks

    i'll do my best. i can't promise anything since it's pretty busy but i'm trying : D

  • Thanks for the Tour! Do most of the Japanese students at Kansai speak English?

  • yeah most all of them know some english. some of them might be too shy to speak it. sometimes they'll come up to you simply to practice their english. but all of the japanese students at kansai gaidai are studying english or have already so they know a lot. enough to get by anyway.

  • lol thank u this was very helpful

  • ur welcome!

  • That school is very nice! And it's clean!

You can't have crap in America though b/c ppl don't give a shit and dirty it up.

  • lol seriousssly. u'd see graffiti on the damn sinks prolly loool
