Love those dancers. Would everyone agree the best moves are on 0:14, about 0:35, 0:53 and 1:25. I'm sure there was a better quality video of this on Hollywood a Go- Go
@John1948TwoB1a There used to be two other versions of this video on YouTube. One,I'm sure, was taken from some sixties show called "Hollywood a go-go". I don't know anything about the show (I've never even heard of it), but I know the video was here because I used to watch it all the time - about 2 years ago. I think the picture was a bit clearer, but it was probably the same video.
@0795oreilly Shindig was the first primetime show of it's type i n the mid 1960s. When it was seen to be a big hit others copied it, Hullabaloo and Ready Steady Go come to mind. ”Hollywood A Go-Go” and ”Shivaree” also debuted. In July 1965, ”Where The Action Is” was about that time too..
@0795oreilly Yes, women today and men have no clue about dancing. Today people move in bizarre, uncivilized motions like they are constipated. What a shame. What happened to the difficult dance moves of the 70's and prior where one needed lessons? Oh yeah, I forgot - they were difficult. Just like thinking independent.
That girl dancing closest to the stage has about enough rhythm as I do, which is none and she looks very bored. After all these years I wonder if she looks at this and says Oh s&#*...is that me??
@John1948TwoB1a Oh yes, Sonny did perform with Bobby. He says he felt like he was in the presence of Buddy again, which is saying something. Miss them all (though the Crickets are still jammin').
@Tarn1968 I tend to take people at their word until they prove themselves to be liars. If Sonny Curtis says he wrote it after Buddy's death, that's good enough for me. After all, he was there and we weren't.
@Tarn1968 This was written by Sonny Curtis, who was a member of The Crickets (Buddy Holly's group). The Crickets recorded it shortly after Buddy Holly's death in 1959 and released it on their 1960 album In Style With The Crickets. If Holly had lived, there's a good chance it would have been a huge hit.

@Tarn1968 I don't believe Sonny ever performed with Bobby Fuller but who knows. They were all Texas boys.
