I am an athiest so have no interest in theological arguements. LRH took inspiration from all over the place and twisted it. Satanism is a bit of an easy target because of people's mis-perceptions of it. The point is scilons today are cuddling up to main stream religions (those interfaith meets they have) claiming they are compatible with them yet LRH was quite derogatory about them; they do this to gain influence.

It's more than just that Hubbard incorporated Satanic philosophies, it's that he says that all Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) are actually alien propaganda meant to trap people into not believing in Scientology. So, Scientology is NOT compatible with other religions-but it will take $200K before you find out that it's not.

Actually, although the Scientologists would disagree, Scientology has nothing at all to do with religion. Hubbard himself said they were a "religion in name only" in order to get a tax exemption status.
