Hi I think this was in North Carolina back in the 1990's? I was at the

concert with a huge aray of artist to ring in the new year. Sad part about it was how much I fell in love with Mark Lawry and his crazy stand up comedy and songs, but I can't remember the year!! Wow! I'm losing it. lol

@ArticleTen Mark (and also david phelps and michael english) has been back with the gaither vocal band since january 2009 and they are doing amazing i've seen them twice last year and will see them twice this year. Guy Penrod and Marshall Hall hall left so its now bill, mark, david, michael, and wes hampton

@Gamergal116 he was having throat problems towards the end and noticed belting out the notes was harder than it used to be. But I dont think thats the only reason why he left. I think he just kind of thought it was time and wanted to have more time off to spend with his family.

Yes he is. I had the privilege of seeing him in person a few years ago at Canada's Wonderland when he opened the show before Sandi Patty came on the stage to sing! I also had the opportunity to see Sandi Patty in concert at Maple Leaf Gardens in the late 80's.  It was truly a blessed time to hear her minister in person.
