I'm sorry, that air jack just looks ridiculously dangerous!! It made the vehicle lurch to oneside and then fall down hard onto the ground! If there's someone at the back trying to hold a pipe in the exhaust, and you're trying to lift the back of the vehicle for some reason, what happens then?!? Potentially, all sorts of carnage!!
I like the concept of an air bag, but I think it needs to be contained in some sort of scissoring framework to make sure it goes straight up and down...
@Crafty1980 Then you should see the carnage that has ensued from incorrect use of hi-lift jacks. The guys were not kidding when they said that the lever could easily break your arm, or face. Any jack can topple and in those conditions it is always to be expected. Air bags are quite safe when used correctly. That one deflated because the inlet pipe came loose (I think). Generally it would just roll like a big blamange and anyone involved should stand well clear to avoid injury.
@LandRoverOwner very true, looking at that rugged guide dvd which came free with a previous lro issue showing a Def HCPU getting kitted out for wading, those michey thompson tyres and the winch being fitted to a 110 V8, it also showed a cross member fitting ready for a desert trip. Oh and awesome video as usual!!!

@Crafty1980 - For off-road uses, you're probably correct. But for standard street usage, it looks very safe in other videos.
I would think in ALL uses, you should take the proper precautions.

Would be useful for Land Cruisers as they're more prone to getting stuck!
