It's not that we want to fall in sin as christians. We simply have a lack of knowledge about the weapons that we have in our armor arsenal! Like the other Petra songs says: Armed and Dangerous.

The power of christian music is in the lyrics. You can tell Bob Heartman who writes most of Petra's songs has a good understanding of the scriptures as there is so much scriptural truth in there music. I find there is always a great spiritual truth that they are trying to teach and I like the way they include scripture references in the inlay of an album so you can look it up and learn the message from the word of God. These guys greatly encouraged me in my early christian walk..

All fired up is a song that the Lord would frequently pour out his Spirit on me when I listened to it. It was like an intense fire of love joy and peace that would fill me and scripture about my cup running over" no longer sounded strange to me but became a reality.

I was thinking about this song in about 1993 and realized they went talking about violence and realized where we live is our heart or soul or core of our being so I asked the Lord to take a shot at me as the song said it is His delight to give you your desire...

(When our desire is to do right in His sight and change from our sinful ways) & His desire is to set our live on fire. So I asked the Lord to take a shot at me and found myself engulfed in His love. He filled me and I felt like His life had filled me and was pouring out of me as I was a filled vessel. I know I didn't deserve all that Love so I told Him that this was too much and to have some back for himself. After saying this the Lord doubled the intensity.

That previous message should say. "His desire is to set our life on fire."

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a Spirit of fear but of Love Power and of sound mind.

I watch a video of a guy from the Romanian revival and he said that when the people realized that they were dead to sin (because they had been crucified with Christ) (Rom 6) (Col 2 :9-15) that's when the revival broke out.

As Jesus said "If any man wishes to come after me let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow Him."

Christianity promises 2 things. Eternal life and a cross to die on.

And the battle is all ready through. And it's hard to believe but it's true. On a hill long ago were the blood runs below died a King, 2 thieves and you.

There's not room at the cross like so many say.

There is room on it.

This is a good song and very 80's. I like the way Petra's music takes you to different frontiers
