Anders vocals are so soft and non scream / growl because the song has to be played at an awards show that is Radio friendly.. the typical In Flames song is not radio friendly because of the screaming and growling.. his voice isnt fucked.. its just who he is singing to.. if it was a concert it would be normal.. this crowd would be like wtf if he growled and stuff.. so he sing normal so they understand..

i know the story of james hetfield damaging his voice and corey taylor. james damaged them while singing "so what" but still had a 2 hour show to go and he sung the whole thing anyway. corey did the asme thing, sung a whole show but with a throat infection. phil anselmo is a fucking legend everyone knows that, he did the same thing for the fans when he took herion to help is back pains and he could continue touring. i didnt say stone sour were "light" they are to slipknot doesnt mean their shit.
