Good review! My personal favorite anime slice of Americana is Baccano, but Gunsmith Cats is a close second. ADV tended to provide some mediocre dubs up until its end. I only own one ADV boxset (Elfen Lied)... I watched the dub once, and will never do so again!

@AllyKat13 Being a fan of anime and having it just be a hobby is essentially the same thing. It seems to me that he doesn't differentiate between anime and live-action. I do the same thing and no one I know has a problem with that. Perhaps you should get out of that box you've locked yourself inside of.

@AllyKat13 I would love to hear you explain the difference. Yes, there's a difference between being a "fan" and a "hobbyist" but it isn't as vast as one would think. At least according to the text book definitions.

I think what you meant to say is that he's a "casual fan" and not a "true fan." And in all honestly, casual fans tend to be more reasonable.
