The 8 days i spent in BWCA were probably the best 8 days of my life.

I just got back from the Boundary Waters and it was better the I imagined. Another one of the reason Minnesota it go great.

Minnesota is a wonderful buetiful place. I dont other people understand how wonderful it is

we are fortunate in that we live only 2.5 hours from the BW. We visit it often its our favorite place of all to go for vacations

I don't think people from other states are aware of the beauty of boundary waters. Minnesota tends to stay under the radar :P

Between the bugs and the cold, I'm not a fan of it most of the time.  However, there are some times there that are just amazing!

Hmmm... didn't stay in one place. I haven't looked at a map of it in sometime. Took the Sawbill trail.

are like most of the lakes and stuff connected by rivers and such or do you have to go through alot of portages to get to some of the lakes?

Depends on where you go. Find an outfitter in the area to let you know about the conditions. I did plenty of portaging. Some of it was a bit much. The water was low in some areas as well, that made for more fun portaging.

this looks amazing. when i get older, i so want to do this with a friend or two. What food is allowed there, and is fishing allowed for cooking and eating?

No glass containers or cans are allowed. I did not fish, though I do think it is allowed. I made chicken the first night I was there, pasta w/ sauce the next day, beef jerky for snacks, instant oatmeal for breakfast. Lots of Tea and a little bit of chocolate!

Are the natives friendly? Or should we worry about every local having a firearm, being a skinhead, and or devil worshipping?

Lol. Natives were more than friendly. No skinheads. No devil worshipping. Maybe firearms for those who live remote. It's all about nature there. I don't think hunting is allowed. Canned or jarred food is not allowed. You should check it out.

ever visit Missouri? the scariest state I have seen so far. I guarantee a liberal, black or jew will be attacked within 24 hours in many of the towns there by the arian groups or even the local cops.

People don't live in the Boundary Waters. It is a national forest. Nothing to worry about.
