Torbay fished out, very little fish there now, some days you get lucky but most days are blanks, pretty much the same all over the UK, blame the EU, inshore trawling and professional Bass anglers.
Have you seen the fibreglass kayaks made in South Africa? They very stable through the surf and swells, and have a lot of starage space. They called Eric's Canoes.
My Kayak Is a Prowler 15, It came as a standard yak all the extras you see were added, but all kayak manufacturers now do an angler version in most models
I've go tthe Hobie Outback. Highly recommended. Excellent storage, rod holders, stability, and the pedals allow you to troll and fish at the same time.
Superb. . .hardly take out my boat any more, even out to see. (NSW South Coast Australia)
Hi again Yakerbass, i have at last caught my first bass from my kayak,it was on a plug trolled at about 5 feet,i also have had good results with snipe(garfish)and mackeral.I am going to try and get hold of some live shrimps and give them a go.
nice videos yakerbass, i have been trying some plugging for bass down here in jersey, not much luck so far, but done well bottom bait fishing.keep up the god work.
what rods & reels do you use for kayak fishing, i have a shakespeare 20lb class 8ft boat rod & a abu 6500 c3 do you think this is suitable?
also an abu 8ft spinning rod with a small baitcasting reel?
your help would be most appreciated. thx
