For another thing, it's implied in one of the spinoffs (Ten no Haoh) that Yuda allowed the punks serving him to rape the girls he enslaved, though he didn't do it himself (because of his gay love for Rei). It's implied that Mamiya was so traumatized by the experience that she "abandoned femininity". which is pretty politically incorrect, but hey, that's Japan for you.

If it weren't for the make-up and the awkward clothing style, Yuda would have been an awesome villain. He is definitively strong and fast, and can cut people in pieces with his finger tip. And unlike most villains of this manga/tv show, he doesn't underestimate his opponents, he is taking every precaution and uses every trick available to make sure he wins a fight. Bin Shimada did an incredible job as his VA.

If I remember correctly, it was destined that Yuda would kill Mamiya. She could look up and see the Death Star over her, which means she was going to die. However, Rei, in his last moments before finally dying to Raoh's Hokuto Shin Ken, decided to aid Mamiya (he was both in love with her and felt bad for the pain she felt when she was forced into Yuda's harem) by setting out to kill Yuda before he could kill Mamiya. Don't remember why he was gonna kill her though.

Juda was both envious and attracted to him as seen in his "most beautiful man in the world comments." Yuda evidently used his power to kidnap beautiful *women* and build a harem to worship his every whim. His feelings for Rei revolve around accepting that someone could be more outstanding and graceful than himself.
