Actually the Goof Troop one was retained; although the ABC one did use an alternate intro that I sadly do not have. I do have the original version of Bonkers, it's notable for not featuring any appearances by Lucky since only Miranda appeared in them. I don't know when or if I'll get it online however.
@ReijiThePhantom oh, that sucks. What loss was it to them? It wasn't like they were still making money off the old CD, which I doubt was even made by WMG :P
Thank you for posting these originals, I don't remember them! It's great to hear another version of the theme. I like it as much as the jazzy version used post-syndication.
Any chance of redoing the other one as well along with that outro I requested earlier so it has Stereo audio like this one because that is the full theme?
I have the outro too (which is the same for both Disney Channel versions), but I haven't put it up on my computer yet. Hopefully by the end of the year I can.
Ahh, so you do have the 2nd intro. I thank you for sharing. I've actually never saw this particular intro before. I remember the first one but not the second. Very good, sensational!
I have the 3rd version with a different beginning on VHS it's called "Darkly Dawns The Duck". I could try to rip it and post it on youtube. Would you happen to have the Saturday morning openings?
Since I still only have 2 video pages at this point, it'll be on my second page. Counting down it's my fifth video; in between the promo for Garfield & Friends and the TV Spots for Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade and Batman.
if they just use clips from the show itself then theres like.. no cost... well... wat i mean is that I could probly do it if i were to do it right... then again i would do it for something less... cartoonish perhaps? such as StarGate Atlantis, or The office or something like those... (well actualy those two have nothing to do with each other but screw it...)
I'm posting up one of them right now in my 1991 commercial montage (I know, it took me long enough). Expect a few more to follow, though hopefully with not as much of a wait.
Which intro was supposed to be on the montarge because I didn't see any except from a bumper with the same horn intro that is on the intro of the VHS one that Wallcrawler was on about with some goofy SFX added?
He kicks him right before the main title at 0:51-0:52
I do remember that right before the scene of Darkwing and Launchpad falling, it showed a clip of Darkwing sliding down the bridge to St. Canard from That Sinking Feeling. This clip was also used in the ABC/Season 2 intro.
I don't remember this variation of the original version at all. I wonder if I simply never saw it. The original version that you posted last year is what I remember.
Do you have the original versions of the "Goof Troop" and "Bonkers" intros? There were different versions, just as with this "Darkwing Duck."

@MRLOL785
See my post in the uploader comments section. I used to have it, but the WMG removed it.

What happened to the "4th" version of the Darkwing theme? The one from off of ABC?
InvaderPet 2 years ago
If you're talking about the 2nd season intro, the WMG took it off because the music is on an out-of-print CD.

So do you have the outro to this particular theme since you have the intro or not?

I have the first Saturday opening (titled the ABC Theme) up here, but unfortunately, I don't have the second.
ReijiThePhantom 3 years ago
I don't see it anywhere on your YouTube, where is it at?
I know about this other one thats a shortened edit of 4th with a slightly more jazzy tune than normal, it used to be on YouTube but not anymore.

Do you have the outro even if it has some dude talking like that Gummi's & Pooh Hour did?
TEOL9 3 years ago
It amazes me that Disney made 4 different intros, and yet they only show one version these days. Waste of money.
InvaderPet 3 years ago
Mmmm... I don't think they needed so much money to put together a few clips

Where does he kick Jambalaya Jake? I don't see that in here.
BTW is there anything different about the first few seconds cut off, that you recall?

It wasn't used long before Darkwing went into syndication. I only saw two episodes (Battle of the Brainteasers and Aduckyphobia) use this intro.

I had seen those eps on the Disney Channel. Was this theme used the first time the eps were shown?
