I've been into Asian cinema for a good 15 years now or so and it's amazing to see the number being lifted over the last few years. And while I myself enjoyed the Ringu remake the Departed, Grudge, Eye, etc... have been complete garbage. Do yourself a favor for those who praise the Departed and get the Infernal Affairs trilogy, it walks circles around the remake.
