You are talking to an American and my first words were english. And I grew up with this song. I will tell you cream and thrill sound nothing like eachother in the english language. Even when Americans says the 2 words they don't sound the same. I searched for the lyrics and you are right there are some sites that will say cream and a lot of other will say thrill. If you look up the definition of thrill and cream you will see cream would make no sence in the sentence.

English is not your first language so your brain will tell you what you want it to hear. Are you really sure you know what english words sound like if you are still saying you hear cream? You are making me think you can read english and know what the word means you just don't know the sounds the words make.

No you heard it wrong the last consonant is 'L' as in Thrill maybe you should go clean your ears, get a super extreme powerful mega ultrasonic amplified speaker and listen again.
