This song always moves me to tears. While deployed to Iraq, I would often find myself singing it while out on patrol, or humming the tune. It really is uplifting. Beautiful rendition.
WHAT A VOICE!!! I have always detested this hymn. You have actually made me reconsider (at least with you singing it!) Do you sing "Linden Lea" by RVW? You are amazing.... and believe me, I have been accompanying singers for 45 years!!!! BRIAN
I am just blown away by your voice, it brings tears to my eyes. I'm getting married in a few weeks and this song is included in my prelude. I will definitely be imagining your heavenly voice when they play this song! Thank you so much for posting this!
Wonderful rendition of this piece. It's certainly a great model for me, as I too am performing this this weekend in church and for my Senior recital this year-- in a set with Silent Noon and the Vagabond. I wish you all the best. You have a tremendous instrument!

Beautiful, and great voice control and pacing. I accompanied a soloist a couple of months back in church for this piece. I love playing it and watching the congregation being moved.
divo, that was absolutely beautifully sung and interpreted. Powerful and inspiring! I will be accompanying a soloist who is singing this piece on Sunday morning.
Wow!! That was amazing. Keep sharing your gift with the world! It desperately needs the blessing and the healing that beautiful music gives. You anoint others when they hear your voice.
I've done The Call and it's one of my favorites. Of all the renditions I've heard on You Tube yours is clearly the best thus far. You have a lovely instrument and you perform the piece with the simplicity it requires. You rock!
Chris: I'd love to have you sing one of my compositions on YouTube. I've got a wonderful arrangement (if I do say so myself) of "Let Us Break Bread Together" that would sound ideal for your voice.
Of all the poeple who sing this on You Tube, yours is the absolute best! Great diction! Great passion for this little gem. It's too bad the acoustics aren't the best there.
If there's one thing i can say about your singing, it's that your consonants, be they beginning, internal, or ending consonants, are simply IMPECCABLE. I can hear every single one, and that's quite a task, given the church's echo and your sonorous voice. Especially good "-st" on guest. Great job.
Thank you so much for that wonderful Comment! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and I am so glad you enjoyed it. It's always lovely when someone appreciates the work that goes into bringing music to life!

Lovely! I'm singing this tomorrow, but up a half step (I'm a light lyric sop.) Sometimes I wish I were a baritone, like my daddy!

I sang this at my jury last fall (I'm a soprano). When I was looking up youtube recordings back then, this was my favorite. I love your expression!

Extremely well, for my first jury! Hehe, thanks for asking.

Nice tone! A bit swimmy in that room though (not your fault!). I can understand everyone word too!

Thank you! Yes, it is a very "swimmy" acoustic in that church! Thank you for watching! Please Subscribe!! :-)
