  • wow great landing....

  • the fucking boss! Perfect job!

  • Hull damage, pshaw, you have two $6 figure engines to worry about. If you ever know the struggle to overhaul a turboprop, you know to protect the engine at all cost.

  • 8 dislikes from 8 pilots they didn't manage to land like this one.

  • That guy deserves a blow job.

  • Awesome job!

  • bet the guy was like, "fuck that I paid too much for this bitch to crash it" so he just went beast-mode on that runway

  • that was pretty amazing, but i doubt if a much larger plane landed like that, it wouldnt have been picture perfect.

  • i remember watching this on tv, it was a perfect landing, and really neat to watch.

  • Dude, the gear wouldn't go down, it was a gear failure, it wasn't his fault.

  • wow!!! GOOD JOB IT WAS A SMALL PLANE!!

  • that was smooth

  • Non stop Yankee prattle fever - our male commentator just HAS to show off his aviation knowledge and insights...

  • no comments needed from the peanut gallery...that guy just needs to shut up

  • agreed.

  • notice the final nose position of the aeroplane, its on the center line, alot students can;t even land on the center line with gears. good airman.

  • goodlanding. it was a small plane

  • God! What's the name of the pilot? He should be a fine example of a bloody brilliant pilot.

  • its an awesome landing.

these comentators need to shut up

  • perfect, textbook gear-up landing.

  • as that say when forced to make a crash landing fly the aircraft as far into the crash as possible. Not only good work on the props have alook at the tail alot on rudder input to keep the aircraft down the center iv'e seen student pilots unable to taxi back in that good. bloody good job, mate bloody good

  • who needs landing gear

  • Of course video game pilots don't need a landing gear. Or a brain. Or a life.

  • hahahahaha, soooo true...

  • hey o have a brain and a life and we usually lose our landing gear to aa fire or we dont land

  • hahahahahhahaha

  • Skilled pilot, exelent job

  • excelente aterrizaje y un piloto increible

  • do u even know if the pilot was sri lankan lol?

cos im betting that he/she isnt.

  • dam curry muching poofters

  • SPECTACULAR stuff...thats what real pilots are made of! That guy is absolutely in his element...period. Flying isn't in his blood, it IS his blood.

  • RESPECT

  • Smart, that. Well done that pilot.

  • WOOOW

    BRAVO!

    THAT WAS JUST NICE

  • excelent landing...perfect...

  • Its almost as if he had his gears down!

    AWESOME pilot!

  • all i can say is 1337

  • couldent do it better..

  • too pro =P

  • wow....

  • Skills

  • Outstanding!!!...

  • Excellent

  • the guy was so excited about the pilots landing haha

  • Excellent Landing....too bad any pilot with a Private Rating can do that!!!

normal engine out procedures...just no gear

  • Any pilot? ha. If every pilot could do that planes would not be crashing. Most are due to pilot errors, and just because you get a license doesn't make a good pilot.

  • That commentator is a big idiot..knows nothing about flying but acting like he does.

  • You're obviously the only smart one.

  • that pilot must bethe best pilot in the WORLD! no kidding

  • smooth

  • Great job that the pilot do! nice vid

  • I've often wondered... aside from smacking each adjacent taxiway (in this layout), why don't they land on the grass? Less friction, less damage, less risk of fire... that's what I would do given the opportunity ('course, I fly helicopters), but you never see that; it's always on the asphalt... intrigued...

  • I have landed on grass fields with the gears down and i feel(maybe its just me) that i have a lot less control of the plane. You have to pretty much man handle the plane the whole time. Also i think grass is not smooth. Lots of bumps and will take the plane out of control a lot faster compared to an asphalt.

  • I seen(working at a busy airport)have many gear ups and i have noticed the ones that stay in the runway the pilot walks away while if it sways into the grass the plane has usually overturned or landed sideways. Pilots also have received minor to major injuries.

  • You know, that all makes sense what you say. Similarly, one might think [a body of] water would soften a landing too, but it's like the worst thing to land on. And now that I think of it, it's bumpy and slippery even driving a car over the grass, and a plane's moving at least twice as fast. Good insight; thanks.

  • wow wow. THE PLANE IS STILL ON THE CENTERLINE! wow.

  • Yeah, most people around here can't handle a CAR as precisely, under the best of conditions. I viewed this many times over in awe. BRAVO.

  • Apparently you have some social issues to sort out. I found your comment extremely and unnecessarily rude and vulgar, and it contributed nothing to the thead.

But thanks for clearing that up for me. I'm only a helicopter pilot; what do I know? I'm just stupid. :P

  • SUPREME SKILL !!!!!!!!!

  • really impressive well done pilot!!

  • bob on

  • DAAYUUMMM!! dat was some skillz!!

  • wow i believe all comments possible were said, amazing job.

  • very nicely done

  • That was pretty cool. Glad to watch it!

  • That was an amazing landing

  • Wow! That was a gorgeous 'gear up' landing.

That guy should get some sort of commendation.

  • Excellent landing. How far in advance did he shut down the engines (they no longer rotated, so I assume quite a while), and didn't that make the landig more difficult/dangerous? Of course, it does remove the danger from blades going through your aircraft and reduces the chances of engine damage. But the latter is less important than getting people safely on the ground.

  • the props stop turning very soon after the fuel is turned off, so thats just like a second before the commentator said "enginers are off... smart move"

  • Thanks for the explanation. I thought it took longer, but was mixing up with jet engines with longer spool times. If it's like a second, it can indeed be timed safely.

  • thats talent right there.. props to the pilot.

  • Actually... heheh... it's props to either side of the fuselage... LOL ;)

  • no, that is a beechcraft king air 350, a beechcraft baron is a twin piston, the king air is a twin turboprop

  • was that a Baron King Air 350?

  • Out standing man fu***ng awesome man. nice piloting there.

  • Aweomse Landing!

  • dats wot new zealanders r special for!!

    i am one of them!!

  • WAW that trouly is talent

ide like to achieve that skill some day

  • thats a better landing than that with the gears down! Lol Superb flying

  • very nice.great control

  • Dam fine flying.

  • supurb landing !!!

  • still have to take the engines apart if the props were dammage from the landing. acording to FAA. still thats was a very sweet landing. love to have a copy for school.

  • Very good landing indeed. Definitely think he has a few hundred hours behind him!!

  • One for the training books for sure! I've seen "pro"s screw up landings that were way easier.

  • god damn thats nice

  • why didn't the landing gear come down? mechanical problem?

  • Wheely good landing

  • Incredible landing! 5 stars!

  • wow , that experience for you.

  • Incredible! Bet nobody in-plane could fell the difference between that and a regular landing! ;-)

  • holy crap! i'm a pilot myself and i'll tell ya that was AMAZING! lucky there wasn't wind shear! woulda made that landing a lot more difficult.. also wouldn't look as smooth lol

  • that's why u ain't a pilot.

  • Why give him a raise? Personally I wouldn't have neglected to put the landing gear down.

  • obviously it wasnt intentional. it was a belly landing. and an exceptionally good one at that, which is why airlinepilot said he would give him a raise

  • haha i was only kidding you know. It was impressive. Even stopped the props to save the engines..

  • he didt neglect the landing gear...there are warning lights to let you know if the gear is down..plus he knew well what he was doing..just watch his landing...pro.

  • He did it for shits and giggles. Doesn't everyone? :P

  • Salary rise is expected for sure.LOL Super job well done!

  • holy-amazing
