  • LMAO, great video! 5/5 I think the Enterprise in the beginning and the Voyager one's were the best! The DS9 one was funny as well, the stupid thing with copying files or downloading something, lmao

  • @sedativechunk -- Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • If the Enterprise were a Mac, it would look pretty, but it wouldn't even have torpedoes, much less a warp drive.

  • @csimmons0varon thats why they have to use linux =)

  • @iocloc Ya but than they be like how the hell do I get this to work or what to you mean its not compatible. lol

  • Someone needs to make one for linux like how the hell do I get this to work or what do mean it's not compatible that would be funny and by the way my OS is Ubuntu.

  • @TheLycantis -- Thanks for watching! I'm glad you liked it. :)

  • 27 people have no sense of humor

  • The blue screen at 1:05 and Data's restart.. Haha the whole video was great actually. Thanks it made me laugh!

  • @mskittychic79 -- I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • Thats why I run Linux. Its the best and fastest. Wish vendors would support it more.

  • @stevjen1 -- Yeah, I hear ya. I'm a PC guy because it has the largest selection of games. ;)

  • @stevjen1 Best how, exactly? Windows is fine, if you actually know what the hell you're doing.

  • @ZakkLamm Actually I do, for example HKEY points to local machine which is software settings, the KKEY classes root folder in the registry is almost entirely file extensions, then we have the user settings which is replicated for each user and changed. changing syntax and keys is only for us experts which I regularly do. Windows is high maintenance. Has to defragged because of bill gates and his 32 bit and 64 bit file allocation tables. Linux cant be cracked that easily.

  • @stevjen1 Riiiight. Listen, buddy, if you're thinking that you can confuse me with technical terms, you may want to stop confusing me with someone who isn't a networking major. Well, nah, I'll be honest, I'm not quite as buffed on the software aspect, but I digress. Let me ask you: what good is all this power without a use? Unless you're running a server, of course.

  • Part 2 of 2. But having said that, there have been a few threats in the past which were detected quickly and updated. Compare that to windows service packs and fixes is like comparing 100 litres of water to 1 billion litres. Windows fixes are huge. There are millions of threats to windows. Still ! But out there the remaining threats to Linux is nearly zero. Cheers its been a good healthy debate. Try Linux. Keep windows and dual boot. Get the ISO file from Linux, burn it and away ya go.

  • Linux. You don't have to worry about virus's updating all the time etc. It is supremely stable. You may have a crash once every 2 years. To fix it just press control and backspace. Windows you must reboot or have a reg fix program, or fix propriety drivers or use recovery or system restore. Linux is faster. Test it. Go to speakeasy . net / speed test on both o / s Use Firefox. I think a Ferrari is better than a Ford any day. Both will get you there, one will give you a better ride.

  • @stevjen1 Do you know why you don't worry about viruses? It's Linux's lack of popularity. I assure you, any system can be infected with the right virus, as long as someone cares enough to do it.

  • @ZakkLamm Part 1 of 2. Partly true. But its a lot harder writing a virus when all the ports are closed. see wikpedia Linux malware Apart from being very difficult to write such software they also have to overcome executable files. Trojans, worms virus etc need one thing. To be executed somehow. Linux doesn't use executable files. The only reason Linux would need a virus program is because emails and documents crossing the platform carry virus's and need scanning before passing on. Go to part 2.

  • Respond to this video...see both my paragraphs. And as far as graphical user interface goes. Windows piece of pie. I have made Linux identical to windows with more speed and POWER. Awesome. PS mine boots in 30 secs fully loaded. Time windows to see how long it takes. lol

  • @Davey647 - Thanks for watching! :)

  • Good one. So funny.

  • @stevjen1 - Thank you -- I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • It looks like you are writing an engram. Would you like some help with that?

  • Great video!! ^_^

  • APPLE!!

  • Paper clip, lol

  • @pinkandbluecarpet - Thanks for watching & commenting! :)

  • I fuckin hate that paperclip.

  • @bluescommander - Poor, friendless Clippy. Thanks for watching! :)

  • Oh come on.... Microsoft isn't that bad :P But still, this is hilarious. Especially the last one. Damn paperclip.....

  • @WafflezDay - Yeah, Microsoft isn't too bad. But Windows Me was. ;) Thanks for watching!

  • Brilliant

  • @Abena20 - Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • Damn windows 98!!!

Ironically, thats what I yell at the computer everytime that paper clip with the eyes pops up :D

  • @XxEllenMaccaxX - Ha ha, thanks for the nice comment! I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • best one was the data thing

  • @spontaneoussam2 - Thanks for watching! :)

  • And if it were run on the Mac OS you'd get a swirling rainbow circle for three days. There's a reason why NASA and other space agencies don't use either operating system...they both suck :P

  • Thank you.

You wouldn't believe the hate mail I get!

    FSK them!

  • Ha, ha, ha, ha...that's a scream. Great work!

  • Ah, the joys of Windows! It is absolute crap!

Get a Mac, it just works.

  • @macman1138 Windows: Long name, BSOD, Virus. Mac: Short Name, VERY slow, a lot of programs don't work with it.

  • @macman1138 - Ha ha, great user name. Thanks for watching! :)

  • O how true

  • @136miles - Thanks for watching! :)

  • AHAH 1.19 Windows data startup

  • @stuya9 - Thank you for the comment! :)

  • OMFG That Was the Best

  • @robertcarter1987 - Thanks -- I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • lmfao!!! awesome!

  • @yodaries - Thank you -- I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • The old Star Trek ran on Windows 3.1, wasn't it? xD

  • @BallieBallBunny - Acutally, I used a screen shot from windows 95... but I think 3.1's Blue Screen of Death is very similar. :) I went with the "classic" look because XP, Vista, and Windows 7's BSoD's are too cluttered and ugly. If your computer is crashing, why not crash with style?

  • @ThePhantomChick Just yesterday, Microsoft has extended Windows XP support to 2020 #LOL

  • At 0:12 it is saying that the torpedo tube is empty. That is not window's fault!

  • @ArswawWorldofWarcraf - Good eyes for being able to read that error message! I wrote it to be a system conflict where Windows doesn't recognize that a torpedo is loaded. An alternate interpretation could be that it is user error. Blame Tripp. ;)

  • @ThePhantomChick Who is this Tripp?

  • @ArswawWorldofWarcraf - D'oh! I meant Reed... the guy operating the console. I need to go watch a few episodes to atone for my mistake.

  • @ThePhantomChick ahh so how long did it take you to make this?

  • @ArswawWorldofWarcraf - It took about a week. I watched about 2-5 episodes (or parts of episodes) per day during that time, looking for appropriate clips. I wasn't watching random episodes, though... I had the general idea of what I was looking for, and searched through the plot lines (and some transcripts) to try to find potential usable ones. The editing went pretty quick once I had the clips, and I spent a few hours over the weekend putting it together.

  • Awesome... I laughed sooo hard at the paper clip part!!

  • @BeckyTheTrekky - Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • Very good! :D

  • Thank you! :)

  • data booting up was the best XD

  • Thanks for watching! :)

  • amusing!

  • Thanks -- I'm glad you liked it!

  • @ThePhantomChick ur welcome!
